the pixar movie"Monsters vs. Aliens" was a good one! I liked the first "Shrek" (which was already given above) as well as" Finding Nemo"! and for Christmas-time "The Polar Express" is a good one!
btw... "The Ultimate Gift" is a great family movie as well! .. you just may wanna wait til your kids are a lil older.. 'cause they might get bored at their age.. since it's not animated or whatnot haha!
faith like potatoes. My kids also like the oldies from when i was a kid like old yeller & where the red fern grows. My son 5 was allowed to see jurassic park (not by me as that movie scaired me at 35!) AAAANYWAY fortunately for the 5 year old jurasic park seeker mommy went away & dad is kinda oblivious to what might traumatize a 5 year old. (he did seem unscaithed though & begged to watch it again) I wouldnt have shown it to him, I'd wait till the ripe old age of 9.
Why not Jurassic Park? Kids like dinosaurs don't they? And yes, it's a bit scary, but in my experience kids like good scare as well (I certainly did anyway; my parents took me to see it in the cinema back in '93 when it came out and I was only 6 or 7 then).
I remember Prince of Egypt and Joseph: King of Dreams used to be two of my favorite movies when I was that age. It made bible stories relatable, it was entertaining, and the animation/soundtrack is really cool. I still have fond memories of them...
