Yes it is amazing. The Jews were in the olive tree to begin with because they were the "natural branches" and not because they were all saved. Because of their unbelief and hard hearts God removed His gracious hand from them as a people overall and broke them off from His goodness (but only for a time after which they will be restored). We Gentiles have now been grafted into God's goodness and are the recipients of His blessings. Paul's warning is that we should not get arrogant because we might lose the goodness and blessings of God just like the Jews lost the goodness and blessings of God -- but this doesn't speak of losing salvation.
Those who push works and sinless perfectionism MUST turn every dialogue found into a "losing salvation" moment.....at the expense of context, verb tense and the obvious verbiage of the account....

The reward of eternal life. Man also earns his reward of eternal damnation..Man earns his own just reward, Matt. 16-27

However, we do receive different rewards in this life time which are blessings from God..Matt. 6-4, 6-6, 6-18.

Matthew 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven:(the reward of eternal life) for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

.
Matthew 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? (how can eternal life be gained in this manner of respecter of[persons) do not even the publicans the same?

Matthew 6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. (no eternal life)

Matthew 10:42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, (earnestly dispense the gospel)verily I say unto you,he shall in no wise lose his reward (if so done he will not lose eternal life)

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. (righteousness unto eternal life, 'the worthy", and iniquity unto eternal damnation, the unworthy)
Luke 6:23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: (eternal life)for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets

Luke 6:35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, (great is the reward of eternal life) and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Luke 23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: (rewarded eternal life, or eternal damnation, according to the works done in the flesh) but this man hath done nothing amiss.

Acts 1:18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; (the reward of eternal damnation) and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

None of this proves your view.....end of story....the quotes in () are your addition......end of story and full stop!

In the grace you are, having been saved out of faith and that NOT of yourselves, it is the gift of God and not of works lest any man should boast..

A GIFT cannot be earned as a reward....wake up

Gentiles are only partakers of the spiritual blessings of the new covenant and not the material blessings. I think you knew this, but wanted to just add it in there, least some replacement theologians come around and we have to shine on them...

Are we still sinners after grace saved us?
We are sinners saved by God's grace. We are also products of our sins, but we are no longer its prisoners. We are no longer slaves to sin, but we still sin. We are like the rising sun; we get better and better until the perfect noon day. We have be set free from the power of sin and death, but that doesn't mean will never sin again. We strive for perfection by trusting God to complete what He started in us. We aren't perfect in ourselves, but we are forgiven by God for past, present and future sins. We are perfect, blameless, and justified in God's presence, because of Jesus in us, we are the righteousness of Christ being totally complete, acceptable and pleasing in God's sight. God sees Jesus in us not our sin.
I do not believe in sinless perfection at all, after my conversion I am not a sinner saved by grace anymore, am I?
You don't believe in sinless perfection at all; so, haven't you answered you own questions with your belief? Only I am not sure I'd word it that way. I believe sinless perfection will be ours when we get our glorified state with Jesus (Transformed in the twinkle of a eye), right now we only have it by faith which is better than a known way. Faith is the substance of what we hope for and evidence of what we don't see, but it is there for us by faith and God's divine enabling.
How are we conformed into his image after being saved by grace? what is God's part and man's part in conforming to the image of Christ?
We are just to forget the things behind and press forward to the high call of Christ in our life; we will have to do battle with our old nature for the rest of lives, but we are being transformed little at a time by His power.

how can "you" know someone has good works? And is not just religious?

You can't so what good is it?
God does not need it, You can't use it to determine someone elses salvation, so other than you examining you own faith, what good is it?

Our religion is what we do. It is not about religion; it is about a relationship with God through Christ.

We are just to forget the things behind and press forward to the high call of Christ in our life; we will have to do battle with our old nature for the rest of lives, but we are being transformed little at a time by His power.
But the old man/nature dies with Christ, right?

After conversion are you a sin-forgiven saint that will still sin or a sinner saved by grace that will still sin...

If you are always facing forward and God does not remember your sins no more, why should we?

Surely we can crucify the flesh right? Gal 5.24 tell us we can-
[SUP]24 [/SUP]Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

What fight is there with 2 natures if we have crucified the flesh and its desires?

I believe we have power over sin today....The OT & NT shows a clear distinction between sinner and saint, right?

Paul never greets the sinner in his letters he greets..............the saints.

See, I believe after conversion we are no longer sinners saved by grace....we became sin-forgiven saints, empowered by enabling grace to crucify the flesh and all its desires...enabling /empowering grace helps us do in our spirits what we cannot do in our flesh....This comes through intimate relationship and complete surrender to the potter...

It has now been 3 weeks since I last used profanity...does this make me perfect? or being perfectly conformed to his image?

It has been several, several years since I have stolen and coveted, does this make me perfect? or being perfectly conformed to his image?

I also believe the Bible teaches us that sin is a choice and not an action...it does not say anywhere that there are sins of ignorance in the new covenant...

I am not picking on you at all, just interested in your statements....

While you are twisting scripture so far out of context to prove something that it does not teach, you might as well throw this one in too and say women are only saved by bearing kids.....I mean...seeing how context means nothing to you

Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

one such false prophet, John McCarther, teaches that one can be a carnal-Christian, which is an oxymoron...He says that you dont lose your salvation by living in sin, but rather lose rewards...How lame is that? But people will by his books that merchandise your soul in the church of the gospel for dollars...anything and everything (all heresies) are for sale in the name of Jesus. Oh my! Or as Solomon said, as to the books of men there is no end...Truly professional merchandisers like their father Lucifer in Ezek. 28..

My prayer is that many might see the false prophets on this site after scripture has stripped them naked in their theology. Yes they will continue night and day to argue in favor of sin and surely not die....However, you, the onlooker must decide. The truth is no driving force in the world, and the majority is always wrong, yet they still gravitate to the foolishness of strength in numbers....think back to Noah, he was out voted a million to one, but the truth still prevailed...They whole world loves this easy-greasy grace message and the Penal Substitution myth..God told Moses and the Israelites that HE allows false prophets to prove you....
