What is the fire of God? I understand if I have fire for something ore if I am burning for something I am very interesting and very zealously to do that. F. e. to serve God!
So what you mean with fire of God?

You just said Fire of God is not a feeling, but turned it back around to be about feeling His Presence and His Power.

Isaiah 28:[SUP]12 [/SUP]To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.[SUP] 13 [/SUP]But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.[SUP]14 [/SUP]Wherefore hear the word of the Lord, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. [SUP]15 [/SUP]Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

Psalm 57:[SUP]3 [/SUP]He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.[SUP] 4 [/SUP]My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.[SUP]5 [/SUP]Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.

Scripture do not paint being set on fire as a feeling of God's Presence, something that would be a reference of the Lord.

So do not believe every spirit, but test them. 1 John 4:1

Jesus Christ is in you by faith 2 Corinthians 13:5

You can have sinners dedicated in meditation and yoga practices in Khundalini which is an Eastern mysticism where they experience the supernatural coming over them with the feeling of fire, power, even terrifying electricity. They can even attest to the feeling of great love and even great peace. Hence seducing spirits.

You really think the Lord would have the Holy Spirit operate in that fashion? How could you keep sinners out of the assembly when they want to bring those practices & those spirits in? How can you keep a believer that has gone astray and knows it not from bring that practice and those spirits in? You cannot, and yet God would all these sinners out of those practices and away from those spirits to a personal reconciled relationship thru His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

So why are you promoting feeling His Presence and His Power to be set on fire for God as something a believer should seek to feel? If we are blessed because we have not seen Him and yet we believe, how much more are we blessed when we do not seek feelings or signs and yet we believe? Indeed, by seeking a sign to be closer to Him, we are becoming an adulterous generation.

Matthew 12:39But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

Jesus having been risen should be enough of a sign for any believer. To keep looking after a sign to get closer to God in a worship place where outside of us is the spirit of the antichrist as opposed to when He is in us, is committing spiritual fornication.

It has been my experience that whenever committed or dedicated christians are referenced, it is usually religious christians doing the best they can by their flesh and will power.

So believers should not be committed or dedicated christians, but christians entrusting the Lord to help them forgive since He is in us and we are the works of His hands by His commitment & His dedication to us as the New Covenant is God's turn what man failed to do by the Old Covenant.

Luke 9:[SUP]23 [/SUP]And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

By denying ourselves as being able to follow Him, picking up the cross daily in crucifying ourselves with Christ in believing that it is not we who live, but Christ in us, then we are leaning on Him all the time for following Him.

(Luke 3:16)

John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Luke 3

16 John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

17 “His winnowing fan [is] in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire.”
