Well, you do seem to treat the word of God as alphabet soup - give it a good stir, pull out a verse (out of context) and impress a meaning on it...
Ole sponge pushes "CAINOLOGY" and a self justifying I keep myself saved by not sinning too bad theology......

I believe we (all born again children of God) are required to OBEY two commandments: love God and love others.

If we disobey we get chastened....not tossed into hell.

Sometimes we fall short due to fear or ignorance and don't love God or others fully as we should, which is what I call sin. At those times God gives us grace and forgiveness and teaches us how to overcome both.

Too often people add man-made laws and traditions and try and enslave others with them, that is a sin.
AMEN.....the workers for push "CAINOLOGY" and a self saving I do not sin too much café blend farce.....

Man's heart was corrupted with the mystery of iniquity that entered into man-kind through Adam's transgression and it is passed on through the blood which is one of the reasons why Jesus had to be born from the Holy Spirit to by-pass the blood of man contaminating Him.

In the OT man's heart was desperately wicked because people were still "in Adam". The heart is the old man that was in Adam but now that Christ has came - we believers have a new heart. We have a new inner man of the heart now in Christ.

Get this wrong and we create a doctrine of a "new evolution" instead of a new creation in Christ.

We create an works-based humanistic mindset that actually denies the work of the Lord Jesus Christ by trying to achieve through what we do - what Christ has already done in His finished work on the cross and resurrection.

In the next post I will show that believers in Christ have a new heart now. I believe the understanding of this is vital to growing up in the Lord. We need to get our "identity" correct.
ive never seen so many vain arguments in favour of being numbered among the wicked....This identity clause is not found anywhere in the bible its manufactured subjective virtual reality, as opposed to objective manifest reality..It all seems to sound good on the surface but is nothing more than rouge to make the outside of the cup look good. It does nothing to curb the indulgences of the flesh. It addresses symptoms and is a sin management remedy at best, preventing the crucifying of ones own flesh in the baptism of repentance. Paul says so a man thinks of himself, so he is..If he doesn't think he can obey God he won't...

Abel did not have this supposed inbred corruption. Why was he and Cain so different? He did what was right from heart purity and he was reckoned righteous before God..Cain did what was wicked, and he was imputed sinful before God..How simple, yes?

God says man CORRUPTS himself, in Gen 6, which happens through his physis growth, he becomes by nature of habit a criminal against God. Will the day ever come when you will learn obedience to the word, and stop arguing in favor of inability and the forgone conclusion of sin? I sincerely hope so..

And the bible does not have one example of the imputed righteousness of Christ either.....according to you I might add.

Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

HAHAHAHHA A CAFE CARAMEL or MOCHA LATTE for me thanks HAHAHAH
Do they truly think sin is a laughing matter? Such foolish virgins having no oil.. I cant find anywhere in the text where Jesus or the apostles were laughing, but rather a sorrowful heart over those being destroyed by their sin..But these two somehow perceive its funny....I say please wake up and smell the scriptural coffee that is able to make one's mind sober before its too late, there will be way more foolish virgins than wise ones at the end of the head count...

Context alludes you, scripture alludes you yea the very truth alludes you......anyone with eyes can see through your CAINOLOGY pal.....and it is obvious that you love burger king theology....

MAYBE study and be honest and you will find numerous places where JESUS rejoiced in spirit.....

Does anyone really take this guy serious....he cannot put one thing in context and disregards truth NON-STOP to post uncalled for attacks like the one here where BLUE and I were discussing coffee in light of the CAFE BLEND CAINOLOGY dogma pushed by the workers for and were NOT MOCKING SIN....what a deceiver....!

You are mistaken, your identity in Christ comes from Christ. It is not something that you can or will accomplish by what you do or don't do. It's not about seeking an identity, it is about Him giving us our identity by what He did. When you are born again and receive the Holy Spirit, that is our new full identity in Christ.

Scripture testifies that we have received everything for life and godliness. And that we HAVE been blessed in the heavenly realms with EVERY spiritual blessing in Christ.

That sounds pretty final to me. Seeking done, He has been found. And a new man in Christ created.

I agree that is legalism and EG violently opposes legalism. Just as you violently defend Free will and the responsibility of individuals to choose between good and evil.

I am just showing you why I try and be very clear with my words.

Again folks may think me foolish but I see God moving with in both of you and others to defend against lies and false doctrines that are trying to sneak into the church.

You each have a different passion.

If we could all learn to work as a Body joined by Christ and His truth.....it scares the forces of evil. Why do you think they (forces of darkness unseen by fleshly eyes) twist what is said and understood to cause us to believe lies of what the other person says?

Because if we rejected their lies and stood together, they would have no place to hide...no shadows to whisper from.

There is an elderly man on my mail route who has given me literature from his church regarding the Sabbath day and he once tried to persuade me to tell my employer that I cannot work on Saturday because it's the Sabbath day and he told me that if I continue to work on Saturday then my salvation will absolutely be in jeopardy.
Yeah really saddening

Col 2:1 For I want you to know how much I struggle for you, for those in Laodicea, and for all who have never seen me face to face.

Col 2:2 Because they are united in love, I pray that their hearts may be encouraged by all the riches that come from a complete understanding of the full knowledge of the Messiah, who is the mystery of God.

Col 2:3 In him are stored all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Col 2:4 I say this so that no one will mislead you with nice-sounding rhetoric.

Col 2:5 For although I am physically absent, I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see how stable you are and how firm your faith in the Messiah is.

Alive in Christ
Col 2:6 So then, just as you have received the Messiah Jesus the Lord, continue to live dependent on him.

Col 2:7 For you have been rooted in him and are being built up and strengthened in the faith, just as you were taught, while you continue to be thankful.

Col 2:8 See to it that no one enslaves you through philosophy and empty deceit according to human tradition, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to the Messiah,

Col 2:9 because all the essence of deity inhabits him in bodily form.

Col 2:10 And you have been filled by him, who is the head of every ruler and authority.

Col 2:11 In union with him you were also circumcised with a circumcision performed without human hands by stripping off the corrupt nature by the circumcision performed by the Messiah.

Col 2:12 When you were buried with the Messiah in baptism, you were also raised with him through faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead.

Col 2:13 Even when you were dead because of your offenses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with him when he forgave us all of our offenses, HOW MANY OFFENSES?

Col 2:14 having erased the charges that were brought against us, along with their obligations that were hostile to us. He took those charges away when he nailed them to the cross.

Col 2:15 And when he had disarmed the rulers and the authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross.

What is our part in this? BELIEVE = OBEDIENCE

You speak truth!
The enemy seeks to paralyze us. Spiritual warfare is conducted in the mind of the believer. satan (small s) cannot reclaim us, but he sure can make us wonder and fumble and stumble.

Sorry, I am not here to be taught by you.

I know who my teachers are on this message board, and they are firm believers in the Gospel of Grace, and I refuse to be a guilt ridden, defeated, miserable believer or listen to anyone who seeks to rob me of my joy in salvation.

Reverential fear is our worship and awe of God, our relationship with Him is based on His love for us.

You perceive my certainty as pride, that is your false judgement of me drawn from words on a message board.
I have a right to be certain, no one listens to a half-hearted message of hope and redemption.

Here are men and women that I do fellowship with and praise God they pulled out that church nonsense of lordship salvation
and preach the simple true Gospel.

https://expreacherman.com/2012/06/08/guilt-free-christianity/
No Guilt, No Fear! Living by Grace not by Doubt and Fear: Guilt-Free Christianity!

Ignore is a good option here. Go for it!

I am glad you went to your teachers to re-examine the fear of the Lord and now understand how it relates to grace and truth....It is blessing to see your comment on it.

Ignoring you? nah, you have of great things to say about true grace....you did exactly what I was hoping you would do. You became a berean and went and checked on the Fear of the Lord yourself and to people you learn from...Good on you sister

You seem to think I am out to defeat the total message of Grace. I have done such thing to the true message of grace. I contend for the true message of grace to be seasoned with truth....Most of the lascivious grace messages we hear today is grace alone does it all and sets you free....

That is not true in the least bit...Grace is the mechanism God provided for you to get you to the cross....The truth of what Christ Jesus did and he did alone at the cross for us is the truth that sets us free.

Grace allows us to draw near and truth sets us free because it shows us what grace did for us...which is we do nothing apart from him or to earn our way into the gift..

Never mistake me, I am not against true grace, but I will contend against the grace that has been turned into lasciviousness/ licentiousness. Grace is turned into this when it is not realized with the truth...and out right denies Jesus is Lord and Master...It may or may not surprise you to know that many in the Body deny Jesus, but preach his grace stills saves you. I do not teach or preach the false doctrine of Lordship salvation that many false teachers like John MacArthur preach.

I love hearing you talk about what grace has done for you and you should keep on shouting it from the rooftops.
