No. They can also seduce believers into believing a lie that it was the Holy Spirit that came over them again with a sign later on after they had been saved so as to mislead them and others to chase after them again for that sign and other sensational signs in the flesh.
1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;[SUP]2 [/SUP]Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
This is happening in "slain in the Spirit", "drunk in the Spirit", Toronto's Blessings, Pensacola Outpouring, holy laughter movement, and the other calling to receive the Holy Spirit apart from salvation after a sign of tongues which comes with no interpretation but is vain & profane babbling. That is why believers were warned not to believe every spirit but test them in 1 John 4:1-6 and the tongues they bring as it can be of the spirit of error and not of the Spirit of truth.
We obey God by believing in Him as our Saviour that we are saved and by believing in Him as our Good Shepherd that He will help us to follow Him PERSONALLY. And even then, when we have doubts, we are free to ask Jesus for help in believing in Him when life or situations are overwhelming us that would cause us to doubts, but He will lift up our hears to look at Him and to have faith in Him in a world in chaos and confusion for our peace is on Him & comes from Him.
