8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

There is no contradiction.

For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 4But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. 8This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

I believe this is also all accompanying the Truth... no contradiction or bewitching

You should seek to open your own eyes... you are in error and defending yourself. Why should one be careful to maintain good works?

Ok....let us try this one more time....do you understand English? .....Do you understand the RESULT of one's action?

Faith into the work of Christ IS WHAT SAVES A MAN....end of story.......

THE RESULT of the FAITH and SALVATION one ALREADY POSSESSES <----any work produced and or fruit.

THE WORKS/FRUIT do NOT SAVE, KEEP SAVED or FINISH OFF SALVATION.........

FAITH plus WORKS to GAIN, FINISH, KEEP salvation = a false GOSPEL other than the GOSPEL PAUL preached.....it is DOUBLE CURSED, FAKE, a FRAUD and has NO POWER

So now you have created a no works post? Oh my.... this is obscene. To all that read this forum please do not adhere to this heresy. This man can save his explanation for this false teaching for GOD. Why not go and add no works in reply to the Messiah's message to the churches? Let us see how that reads.... or not!!!

He is not saying no works follow being saved, simply that it is not works them self that save.

God did send a message, have you seen John 3:16? It points to the work of Christ on the cross, and our faith in Him and His sacrifice on our behalf due to His great love for us... that is what saves. Most of Scripture points to Christ. It testifies of Him, His victory over sin and death, and man's absolute destitution, spiritual poverty, and inability to save himself.

Read his last post....
If you want to say works save many will oppose you, for we are saved by grace through faith.

Works follow faith, but of themselves without faith, lack the power to save.

Amen. We are saved by grace through faith in God's love for us through the propitiatory sacrifice of His Son on the cross, for He is the spotless Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world.

You opposed a whole long list of Scripture that attested to being saved apart from works. You called it heresy.

You mean the verses thrown into a post ending with no works added? This is me denying being saved by grace is it?
