I am truly thinking of taking a break from CC

I read your profile and see that you are married. However, I wanted to invite you to visit the singles forum. Members tend to be more civil and hospitable there. A lot of the threads are general, so you can participate regardless of marital status. There are or have been a few married regulars in the singles forum. Members come to the singles forum because it's generally more civil, hospitable and light hearted. Anyway, don't be so quick to leave. Just try participating in some of the other forums here rather than the BDF.

Not leaving, nor was I going to. I said break, as in rest...thank you for sharing this about single forum, just thought I could not...as I was told before when I was BiblicalSandy, that I should stick to family forum...but now I am invited, so I will give it a try again...:)
 
It's good to take breaks from CC
I end up doing it often
 
I think the ones who have said ignore those who only want to ridicule and disrespect others are on target. Think what would happen if we as Bible believing, God-fearing Christians all left. When our adversary sees something that glorifies God, he'll infiltrate. And he will destroy if he can. We have to stand firm and "kill them with kindness". I let myself be baited the other day by one who purposely targeted women and I'm ashamed of that. Not of what I said, but of how I said it. I apologize for that. I'll try to remember that in the future and learn from it, standing up for what's right in a true Christan spirit.

Everyone needs a break occasionally to rest and regroup. Just don't give up and hand over the sight to those who have only division and destruction at heart.

Honestly I'm thinking about stepping off here for awhile too. This place, AND many of it's members, gets on my last nerve..
 
Taking just a day away helped me!..;) I know you'll be back, cause you know you love us! Bigger smile than emoji!
