I know I sound like a broken record, but because of the Falling Away, many in the church are being led by spiritual children, if they're that.
Infiltration of seminaries, state boards, church boards, etc. is leading the uncommitted church into apostasy.

Few, if any, real revivals.

Churches using Wednesday night study times for Youth events that are basically social events & play time.

Churches using Sunday nights for external ministry with big claims of results with no additions to the congregation. This is causing a false belief that God's will is be accomplished while the members are feeding, clothing, & playing games with the poor and giving them NOTHING of spiritual worth. The end result is they go to Hell clothed & full.

This seems to be happening everywhere regardless of the denomination.

I couldn't agree more, the truths of the gospel and the knowledge of who God is and what we are is being replaced with what you've just said. The church in my country and I'm sure in other places is more concerned with games and events which has replaced real bible study and teachings.

After hearing some of the most popular doctrines, it's not hard to see one of the roots is people not taking Jesus seriously, treating God as an after thought rather than first priority. When a person will seek God consistently, and sincerely He will always answer and always revive. So many false doctrines sort of really teach you first and God when you have time and aren't busy doing something else. I believe it's the truth of eternal consequences that is taken out of modern distortions of doctrine. There is no fear of God before Christians anymore it seems.

People confuse doctrine, which confuses minds which destroys lives.

What do you do as a man that belongs to a church that does not teach men up to be like Paul and Timothy is passing on of the gospel and seems to have no vision of planting and advancing a church plant?
Thoughts please.

Pray for the return of men that are called, anointed, refined, tested, approved and validated by God to preach and teach the Word of God....This includes the 5 fold ministry gifts as well.

What is your definition of a "real" revival...not baiting, genuine question...

See I do not believe that revival comes before anything else....

I believe that the correct order and as Joel 2 proves out to be.... repentance, reformation , restoration, pouring out of the Spirit and then revival...

Talking about God while in temple isn't work.

Depends on how far you have to walk. It wasn't like they went to the same place every week, they didn't have a vehicle, couldn't take public transportation, (assuming HeeHawCab wasn't invented yet), and that part of the Mediterranean isn't known for its lovely, flat meadows.
