how would you know ANYTHING about apologizing??
I am sorry gb9, I seem to have upset you in the past.
I hope you can forgive me for the offence I have caused you, I did not mean to.
I know you have a good heart, and desire to reach others with Christs love, I just
feel you have not opened up the biggest and most powerful gift of all the cross
brings our hearts, to walk in love, purity and righteousness.

Guilt always torments us, even after events, saying you know this will happen again.
But in Christ we have the victory, so brother take heart and reach out to Christ and
He will reach out to you. God bless you my friend.

I love your cake allusions, but as I have got older, I know how sick
it will make me, but thankfully I have not been sick on cake, yet.

Easy believism reminds me of eating too much cake, too much sweetness
and not enough reality and hard graft. The problem with these folk is when
things get tough they are the first to fall.

Show me a real faith with out works and i will cut my tounge off
Ok Jimbo i have a story i would like to share with you...Four years ago i was very sick mentally, i was under the mental health act and was in the care of the Maudsley hospital for 7 months, when my treatment has stopped and i was home alone i turned to God because you see my illness was caused by demonic influences and i knew the only help i could get was from God and no hospitals so that is what i done, infact it was God who was calling me, and He gave me new ideas in my sick mind, because i lived in my bed apart from getting up to eat etc, i never dressed, i had no teeth, lost them through gum illness, was a binge drinker and an ex drug addict addicted to speed, but after my last bout of hospital, God placed it on my heart to move bedrooms, the thought was just to much, but everyday the thought became stronger untill one day i had enough of the thought and before i knew it i was now in my new bedroom which is at the back of the house and quiet from the noise of the cars...One day i received a letter to say i was entitled to some money from the government, i filled out the forms and i remember praying to God and asking Him if He would please let me have this money so i could do my home up, i had never had anything in my life to call my own, and God gave me what was given to me, i had carpet laid, flooring put down, walls painted and all this was done through faith, i never went out of my way for any of it, i just prayed to got with a broken heart and asked Him to help me, this was 2 years before i had even given my life to Jesus, what a wonderful God we serve...I did not work for any of this, it was all given to me through Gods Grace, He brought me to the Lord 2 years later, He healed me, He is still healing me, have done nothing to deserve this, I am still in awe...xox...

My comments my seem harsh but are in love. EG is on the right track. That said, there is a condition in the body today, especially in sin-consciousness doctrine that I cannot help myself and have no control over sin, what my heart wants to do I cannot do , so I place the total responsibility for renewal and change on God...I only do my part by taking the gift of salvation and do practical things like accountability groups, small groups, staying fellowship.....

This is not taught in the bible at all. If EG were to really grab a hold of his new creation in Christ and see himself as God does, he would flourish more than he has....

God does not view brother EG as a Sinner any more, but EG views himself that way....why would we view oursleves as less than God does?

Answer-sin-consciousness doctrine preaches that if we view ourselves as God does after conversion we are guilty of self-righteousness and working for our salvation...This is because sin-consciousness doctrine does not truly believe we are immediately a new creation in Christ...part of the issue is the lack of teaching that man is a 3 part being....mind, spirit and body...sin-consciousness doctrine glosses over the 3 part man....They teach that you come just as your are and despite your junk, you are ok[this is true].....but this also leads to zero spiritual growth and maturity, because oyu constantly have to war with yourself and have forgotten you have purged from your old sins...sin-consciousness doctrine strands many at the cross and doe snot even show how you crucify your old man with Christ...they tech you to stand afar and looking at what Jesus did, and one day in glory you will be the same way....

The overt fear this doctrine spreads is that if you claim to not be a sinner, you are saying you are perfect, and you cannot be perfect....this is all flesh talking, because sin-consciousness doctrine never teaches Romans 1-8 as it should be properly taught. enabling Grace and Spirit controlled and led deliverance and freedom...instead they teach it as what a wretch you are and you have no hope over your SIN and you are helpless until death....then you overcome....It teaches that 2 natures are always at war and you are helpless over doing good, growing spiritually and maturing....what good would it do, sine the sinful nature is never going to be defeated....it also teaches total and absolute surrender to Jesus is impossible, it stresses that each should work out their own things alone and the most damning part is this....anyone else that has victory over sin and says they are not a sinner, is automatically a liar, engaged in self-righteous works based salvation efforts and is not near as spiritual as me, because I know what a wretched man of sin I am.....it also places self above Jesus....and places all responsibility for total transformation on Jesus and God.....

The sad fact is, that sin-consciousness doctrine places people in a very hopeless condition and eventually leads many to ship wreck...if they came from legalism and works based false teaching and churches this appeals to them, because on the surface it presents itself as non-works based...but in the end, change comes in spurts, there is no spiritual maturity and apathy for the return of Jesus replaces any motivation to be everything God has called them to be.....this becomes the first church of the Frigidaire, the Assembly of the frozen chosen. the fellowship of shipwrecked sinners.....

Jesus took care of the sin problem over 2,000 ago and he is snot taking care of it today on a daily basis with saints that are mired down into the misunderstanding of the new man.....if we would overcome the sin-consciousness doctrine with the righteous-consciousness truth....the world would change...

My motivation is to see brothers and sisters here, especially like our great brother EG, be completely liberated from
sin-consciousness doctrine......we have to get people from the cross to the tomb and raised into newness of life...

Regardless of what traditions state...this is not a single process that happens at the cross....I was visiting a church this past weekend. The pastor was very frustrated 3 months ago...he said...the same people come to the altar call week after week for the same things...I reviewed what he was preaching and his leaders were teaching...gave him and his leaders a course on idenitty in Christ and teaching about the resurrection power we have in us...

In 3 months a radical transformation took place and the ones constantly coming down to get right 3 months still come down, but to help others and pray for others....the church is bursting with life, disciples are being made....the community is reaching the busted and disgusted....

I asked the Pastor what changed....he said preaching life to people and who they are, that they are no longer a sinner saved by grace, but a sin-forgiven saint, that will still sin and have the power of him who raised Jesus from the dead living in them...and enabling them to destroy yokes, lift burdens and change the life....

This is my prayer for our dear and great brother EG and others here....

Nobody is ever going to be perfect, but we should be the most mature saints God ever rescued....
Hey this is a fantastic post! Wouldn't let me rep you.

I just wish you would've posted this one FIRST. Then maybe the other one wouldn't have been necessary.

Your post kinda reminds me of this guy's teaching that Willie showed me a while back.

Oh and i must also say, although i have always believed in God, i knew of a man named Jesus, i knew of a cross, but that was it, and here i am today, saved by Faith through Grace, and when i gave my life to Jesus, i remember saying to God, i don`t know your Son God, but i am really looking forward to getting to know Him, through Grace, not by my own doing...

Peter...no offence, but you have comprehension problems....how many people have told you that you fail to understand what is said in any given conversation....there is no problem with my statement....I have judged your doctrine along side the word of GOD and it comes up lacking and insufficient to save anyone....so...by default if your dogma by the word cannot save you....it for sure cannot save someone else....many have pointed this out to you and you still fail to understand the simple verbiage being spoken in a language you are supposed to be fluent in.......now for the xxx time....I do not condemn you per se, but rather your dogma to be false......is that too difficult to understand?
Ex marine and chicken. I suppose all the guns, the macho image, the accusations,
the I can take you mano to mano, lol.

But when it comes to facts and truth, .............................................
..................................................................................................
..................................................................................................
..................................................................................................

Now the problem with faith is the word faith. It actually means something.
If you want to correct someone or even make a point, it is more than slander
or accusation, it is taking the risk, putting your faith on the line and making
the argument.

Now a bible school trained guy should know the score. But it must be you know
you have nothing, not even verses, just conviction.

Now coming before the King and saying, I felt I was right, that was good enough
surely.

Jesus said, "I never knew you, you evil doers"

Now if one knows one does evil and it is not resolved, then unfortunately the bad
news is you know which line you have crossed. But this reality is so known and
dismissed I do not think there is ever a way back, it is so rejected.

But there is always hope, because I know so little and this is just a thread full of
posers who like to sound big and brash, but it is only texts on the internet, and
to most a waste of time and effort, lol. But I always work for the Lord in all I do,
so I offer a sincere hand of love and support, let us walk in the word together and
encourage one another in Christ, amen.

I understand the theory you are putting around it, though I may not fully agree
with it, the basic thrust I say amen.

It is truly putting faith in the resurrection power of Christ through the cross and
learning to walk in love and obedience.

Now a version of faith has been created within this similar theological group where
the enemy is legalism, but also letting sin take the victory from us.

So the testimonies you speak of speak volumes, about faith and walking in the Spirit.

The members here are confused because though you come from a different camp to myself you are
preaching the same basic victorious message. Christ changes us, and we can expect this
if we open our hearts to who we are in Christ. So Amen brother, and thanks for sharing.

Lol. I have no vitriol towards you, in fact the opposite.
Why are you so scared to put your points? Did you fail to finish the bible school, and
are just compromised?

I should be a push over, if your enthusiasm represented the strength of your doctrine.

You do know I love Jesus and He is my Lord and saviour. I have been witnessing and
bringing people to Christ over 40 years now, so I do wonder at your hesitancy to actually
be open and honest about your faith position. I am open with mine, everyday, why are
you so shy?

If the Lord showed you a new way through, a way of healing and resolution, would you
not want it? I know there is so much hesitancy, and defence, there is something very big
for you that is too hard to face. But you know because you push me, the Lord will just
gently ask you why? Do you not want resolution and healing David?

I remember being accused of sinning all the time. So I asked what sin.
Silence. Then it was disagreeing over beliefs, or how you interpret them.

Now sin is a serious crime, which can be taken to court with evidence.
It is not a mistake, or accident, or outburst. It is intentional action that
has caused damage within the catagories of the commandments.

Now every believer should know this, yet a class of believers have arisen who
claim not to follow the law, but want to condemn anyone they can find who has
broken their own invented version of the law.

How do I know this? Because they started with the line, the easy commandments, the
10 commandments we all keep, but not 24/7 or the deeper issues in the soul.

Now as time went by, the 10 commandments were listed and actually they were lying.
They were breaking the 10 commandments and it was this sin they could not stop.
They said every day they had this problem.

Now anyone who is this ignorant of sin and righteousness, love and salvation, I would
question do they know the Lord, or it is just something they assume.

Dig a bit deeper, fear is evil, anger is evil, having more than one wife is evil.
So actually a non-biblical morality has been built up and just accepted, and then forced
into the open to condemn other believers but falsely.

They are victims of their beliefs, because no one questions or tests the heresies and
shows them for what they are, so they are so self possessed it is their mission to root out
the legalists and lying hypocrites who claim to walk righteously in the Lord.

They need our prayers and sympathy, because over time, some will come to their senses.
But also they need to be confronted and shown the error of their beliefs, which are now so
ingrained they talk as if scripture agrees with them when clearly it does not.
The "righteous" shall live by faith

What we began in is what we will end in
(Provided we remain in HIM)

from faith ---------->to faoth
from first ----------->to last
