Hi garee,

Thanks for your post just a a few comments for you below but this is not a Sabbath thread so we do not need to discuss this here. I am just talking to Arial as she made some comments earlier that I am asking her some questions about. There is another Sabbath thread somewhere else if you like I can chat with you there if you like? I will answer this post for out of courtesy for you to consider from your post in red. After this post however if you or anyone are interested just go to the Sabbath thread. This is not the place or topic.

God bless
Thanks for the reply..You called a high day the High Sabbath. Sabbaths have no order of superiority. There is no low or medium Sabbath. Just as the word week does not mean rest someone added something.?

Where did you get the term High Sabbath from? Is it a law of the fathers as an oral tradition of men?

Why keep just one day holy?
why not keep EVERYDAY holy?

Isnt THAT our acceptable form of worship?

i don't know if you realize it but you posted the same post regarding the sabbath three times on this thread which is entitled "not by works"

So it is a bit misleading as it implied that you were judging another based on whether they celebrate and keep holy one particular day over another
Yes not by works of offering a shadow as if it was the substance.( salvation ) . The first century reformation has come the veil is rent.

Offering opinions is not judging. Judging is when people make the a ceremonial laws as a shadows into a moral law and tell others that can have their own experience as evidence they have the Holy Spirit . (Works righteousness) and therefore stumble over the cross. It would seem many are still waiting for the time of reformation ignoring the results. What are the results of the reformation?

It’s all about timing.

The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until “the time of reformation”. Heb 9:8

Has the way to the holiest of all been made yet? Or do we still need the shadows and not the substance (salvation)?

Heb 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. Col 2:16

which is why I asked about the "Passover" which was the FIRST HOLY convocation commanded and was to be kept as a lasting ordinance (exodus 12)

there was a requirement that those who celebrated the "Passover" had to be circumcised

would you say the shadow spoken of in exodus 12 was what GOD was pointing to all along?

that HIS taking out of "Egypt" and bringing into "Israel" by HIS STRONG HSND was symbolic of THE WORK of GOD which HE was pointing to from the beginning?

even this shadow was HIS WORK and nothing that we performed through our own flesh

well...circumcision was a work performed by the hands of men upon the outer flesh...but that shadow also pointed to THE WORK of GOD which would come through the NEW COVENANT (by the inner circumcision (also done by GOD) upon the inward tablets of our hearts) after ones eyes are opened (another work of GOD) and they come to the revelation of The TRUTH of THE GOSPEL, that it is by and through and in THE LORD's PASDOVER that we are truly counted in as THE ISRAEK of GOD...which is HIS SON

GOD made the distinction and took out from Egypt and brought into ISRAEL...HIS SON

And really...our "work" is to REMAIN IN HIM...our true "houses" marked by HIS COVERING
Because, really without the RIGHT COVERING provided by GOD...no one really can come before GOD's presence uncovered

its all about timing yes
thats why it is still the year of HIS FAVOR and today is still the day of salvation

GOD is still at work calling out of (the kingdom of darkness/Egypt/sons of "pharaoh") and bringing into the kingdom of LIGHT in HIS SON/ISRAEL/children of GOD) HIS OWN

Gotta love the mercy and the grace and the long suffering patience of GOD!
that even while we were still sinners, GOD in HIS mercy and grace gives us HIS SON so that those who will believe will live!

Unfathomable wisdom of GOD that a FATHER will justify all HIS CHILDREN by faith in HIS SON

For what Father, whose children have all disobeyed, will pick and choose one child over and against and by another child?

so what can we say before HIM?

lord lord look what (((I))))have done for you, in your NAME

all mouths will be silenced and all flesh will boast in HIS NAME!

They will take out THE CAPSTONE to GRACE GRACE

MOST EXCELLENT UNFATHOMABLE GRACE!

Has anyone gotten over THE MESSAGE of THE CROSS yet?

if so, go back to YOUR FIRST LOVE, and remember the height from which you have fallen

and do all the things you did at the first and all the while you do it say of yourself:

I am only an unworthy sercant

I did what was expected of me

Observations are not wrong because they are made.
Do you agree with all the observations made about you?
According to what you have just said they are not wrong.

If one is as described, what hurts is it is correct, which means action is needed
or one is just self condemning. Oh wait, that is what you expect, and your response
is to say you are safe in Christ. lol. The irony is so deep. It binds the soul ever tighter
into inaction, so nothing gets through.
As usual you make little to no sense. When will you take action to change this?

2 Peter 1 is incredible Scripture brother, and should be exactly what what we should attain.

But the author of that great Scripture himself still had plenty of sinful issues the Holy Spirit was working in him with. Sins such as hypocrisy, and worse, a watering down of THE Gospel. These sins are laid out in Galatians 2.

I say this because I thought your comments were a little harsh to brother EG. Perhaps you could have said it better in a loving manner.

Have a blessed night.
My comments my seem harsh but are in love. EG is on the right track. That said, there is a condition in the body today, especially in sin-consciousness doctrine that I cannot help myself and have no control over sin, what my heart wants to do I cannot do , so I place the total responsibility for renewal and change on God...I only do my part by taking the gift of salvation and do practical things like accountability groups, small groups, staying fellowship.....

This is not taught in the bible at all. If EG were to really grab a hold of his new creation in Christ and see himself as God does, he would flourish more than he has....

God does not view brother EG as a Sinner any more, but EG views himself that way....why would we view oursleves as less than God does?

Answer-sin-consciousness doctrine preaches that if we view ourselves as God does after conversion we are guilty of self-righteousness and working for our salvation...This is because sin-consciousness doctrine does not truly believe we are immediately a new creation in Christ...part of the issue is the lack of teaching that man is a 3 part being....mind, spirit and body...sin-consciousness doctrine glosses over the 3 part man....They teach that you come just as your are and despite your junk, you are ok[this is true].....but this also leads to zero spiritual growth and maturity, because oyu constantly have to war with yourself and have forgotten you have purged from your old sins...sin-consciousness doctrine strands many at the cross and doe snot even show how you crucify your old man with Christ...they tech you to stand afar and looking at what Jesus did, and one day in glory you will be the same way....

The overt fear this doctrine spreads is that if you claim to not be a sinner, you are saying you are perfect, and you cannot be perfect....this is all flesh talking, because sin-consciousness doctrine never teaches Romans 1-8 as it should be properly taught. enabling Grace and Spirit controlled and led deliverance and freedom...instead they teach it as what a wretch you are and you have no hope over your SIN and you are helpless until death....then you overcome....It teaches that 2 natures are always at war and you are helpless over doing good, growing spiritually and maturing....what good would it do, sine the sinful nature is never going to be defeated....it also teaches total and absolute surrender to Jesus is impossible, it stresses that each should work out their own things alone and the most damning part is this....anyone else that has victory over sin and says they are not a sinner, is automatically a liar, engaged in self-righteous works based salvation efforts and is not near as spiritual as me, because I know what a wretched man of sin I am.....it also places self above Jesus....and places all responsibility for total transformation on Jesus and God.....

The sad fact is, that sin-consciousness doctrine places people in a very hopeless condition and eventually leads many to ship wreck...if they came from legalism and works based false teaching and churches this appeals to them, because on the surface it presents itself as non-works based...but in the end, change comes in spurts, there is no spiritual maturity and apathy for the return of Jesus replaces any motivation to be everything God has called them to be.....this becomes the first church of the Frigidaire, the Assembly of the frozen chosen. the fellowship of shipwrecked sinners.....

Jesus took care of the sin problem over 2,000 ago and he is snot taking care of it today on a daily basis with saints that are mired down into the misunderstanding of the new man.....if we would overcome the sin-consciousness doctrine with the righteous-consciousness truth....the world would change...

My motivation is to see brothers and sisters here, especially like our great brother EG, be completely liberated from
sin-consciousness doctrine......we have to get people from the cross to the tomb and raised into newness of life...

Regardless of what traditions state...this is not a single process that happens at the cross....I was visiting a church this past weekend. The pastor was very frustrated 3 months ago...he said...the same people come to the altar call week after week for the same things...I reviewed what he was preaching and his leaders were teaching...gave him and his leaders a course on idenitty in Christ and teaching about the resurrection power we have in us...

In 3 months a radical transformation took place and the ones constantly coming down to get right 3 months still come down, but to help others and pray for others....the church is bursting with life, disciples are being made....the community is reaching the busted and disgusted....

I asked the Pastor what changed....he said preaching life to people and who they are, that they are no longer a sinner saved by grace, but a sin-forgiven saint, that will still sin and have the power of him who raised Jesus from the dead living in them...and enabling them to destroy yokes, lift burdens and change the life....

This is my prayer for our dear and great brother EG and others here....

Nobody is ever going to be perfect, but we should be the most mature saints God ever rescued....

which is why I asked about the "Passover" which was the FIRST HOLY convocation commanded and was to be kept as a lasting ordinance (exodus 12)
Yes you could call it the first Holy Shadow as a convocation

A lasting ordinance that will not be realized until we receive our new incorruptible bodies

So yes as a ceremonial law not a moral law, the ones used during ceremonies as shadows that point ahead to the time of reformation . We keep it by guarding it with all our heart soul and mind. He performed it from the foundation of the world. No one can keep it if it is not of ourselves. If we violate one commandment as did Adam and eve we like them will be guilty of the whole .Can’t keep part of his law and reject the remander.

Its how some define the word keep that makes a difference.

Jam 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

there was a requirement that those who celebrated the "Passover" had to be circumcised

would you say the shadow spoken of in exodus 12 was what GOD was pointing to all along?
Yes shadows a have no substance.Circumcision like the Sabbaths is another ceremonial law (no judging) that pointed a head to a suffering savor the substance of those shadows . Circumcision is a sign of our bloody Husband Christ its how he preached the gospel using parables in respect to the suffering of Christ beforehand

where do you get that EG teaches this nonsense?

This is not taught in the bible at all. If EG were to really grab a hold of his new creation in Christ and see himself as God does, he would flourish more than he has....
as I said, I found this about ten years ago, why you fail to grasp this truth I cannot comprehend. I see my position in Christ, it is perfect, as Christ was perfect.

what you seem to fail to comprehend for some reason is we are discussing the word with a few people who think they are sinless, who think their sin is but a mistake here and now, and they are so holy God lives them based on that holiness, and not based on his love as a child. So when we discuss about sin, we discuss it in that context.

Again, if you have a question, ask, stop assuming, so many people in cc respond based on assumptions, as I also said, it really gets old,
