This is a thread for coffee junkies!

Feel free to post anything coffee or even hot-drink related.

Taste a really good brew? Post it here.

Find the holy grail of mugs for coffee tasting? Tell us!

How do you like it made?

Arabica or Robusto?

Can you tell I wrote this while caffeinated?

I drink coffee all day long. I drink too much coffee.

I'm the only one who drinks it in my house, and I don't go to a lot of fuss just for me myself. I drink instant.

Yeah, I said instant. Got a problem with that? Step on up and get yo' cranium cracked, suckah!

I like my instant coffee.

I once had a friend who sent me a package for "secret santa" and it had a 1 pound bag of Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee beans. I ground it to make espresso. It was so good. I wept when it was all gone. I've never had it's equal.

I love getting a nice latte.

I need to work on getting the latte art down... (only when I use a beautiful espresso machine)

I have seasons of coffee and then seasons of tea. Currently I am into chai. Maybe when it gets colder, I'll shift back to coffee.

Tanzanian peaberry beans, fresh ground. wow.

my go to, when i can't get those, is Mexican organic. it has a little chocolate taste that makes it like dessert coffee.
black, no sugar, strong and hot.

i'll do half-caf when it's going to be one of those days.

In summer I like iced coffee. So far, the ONLY brand I've tried that actually tastes like coffee, instead of flavored creamer, is the Caribou brand. :) Gold Peak has a caramel iced coffee, and it doesn't taste like coffee at all, it tastes like drinking liquid caramel.

I like hot coffee in winter, but only on the coldest days..

I don't drink coffee. Never have. Once in awhile I'll have a starbucks or mcdonalds frappucino but they are more like shakes... And the calories are like shakes too!

I gave up coffee 15 minutes ago. I have a headache too. It's from caffeine withdrawal. That's another drug of choice for me besides nicotine. They're having a church gathering in the smoking thread. That church is also against the idolatry of coffee consumption so the after church service coffee and donut fellowship was cancelled. Donuts by themselves are not sinful to consume but they do lead to the temptation of dunking in your coffee. Tea is permitted but only in small quantities and must be contained in a sippy cup.

I drink plain coffee at work (large dispenser :D ) , at home I just buy a random brand / variety and try what it tastest like.

Some espresso (instant), then add syrup or sugar
then I bring milk almost to the boil and "whisk" it (don't have a steamer) and add it.
Final touch: Chocolate shavings.

For hot summer days I just add cold milk and leave it all in the firidge until it is back to being icy cold before drinking it.
(I have to buy something to make ice cubes in!)

I have a huge coffee problem for sure, you know those 44 oz cups you get at seven eleven or circle k? I can easily drink three of those a day but i only tend to drink them in moderation as much as I can normally 1 and the half and the other half is for the morning. But I make it a certain way I am very picky about my coffee, I have to have a lot of creamer in it but not just one kind I need some hazelnut and some vanilla creamer about 6 packets or more of splenda and then i put ice in it because my tongue cannot handle hot coffee believe me I have tried.

Also if there ever was the devil in coffee form it's starbucks, I tried it for the first time when I went to see Stephanie in Arizona and ever since... well I'm sure you can figure it out lol

I enjoy coffee, but like so many beverages in the world, it isn't something I can't live without. Though, I get caffeine addictions quite easily so the only time I drink caffeinated coffee (caffeinated anything, for that matter), is when I'm already really awake feeling; I don't want to start depending on it to keep me from feeling tired!

And Lady Blue, I have to agree with you on iced coffee! I've resorted to making my own, because all the others are too sweet or just not enough coffee flavor.

In my coffee drinking days, you didn't want to stand between me and the coffee dispenser when it was time for my coffee.

I'm actually enjoying an ice coffee right now. I don't normally get the coffee urge other than a few times a week when my mom decides to make it in the morning (and even then I don't always drink it), but man, I don't know what got me going! Either this thread, or the fact that I've practically been dreaming about a sweet treat all day :p. It's wonderful, because it's maple flavoured.

I really like iced tea too in addition to my like of coffee. It's got to be made really, really strong though. Dark. Full flavored. No "kidney cleaner" weaksauce iced tea for me.
