all the people gathered around and said let us build a tower to heaven. Now i admit i don't know how many, all the people are so I know this may send someone into a tizzy but it was a lot

God said lets go down and see what they are doing. after seeing what they were up to he decided to confuse them, by having them all speak separate languages,

I asked myself, why would he do that, they had unity, they had the numbers, they thought it was possible.

maybe, just thinking out loud, maybe they might get hurt, and i said no that can't be it.

so then i thought maybe they were trying to get to somewhere where they had no business being. Maybe if they could reach heaven then God would have to see how great they were. I don't, just musings by a heretic

Then ole Noah shows up in the pages of the bible.

God told him to build an ark. that a flood was coming. so what did Noah do why he built an ark. But here is what I find amazing, he did it with just him and his family, and to add to that he and his grandpa told everybody that the flood was coming, but they alll thought he was crazy. God told him yea right!!!

alot of people to work on a project, that God has no hand in

1 family when God speaks, reminds me of sommething HMMMMMM

The bible clearly states why God didn't want them to build the tower.
It wasn't merely that they didn't do it "with" him, it was that they wanted to be like him.

Why is it amazing that Noah built an ark? He had many years to complete it.

The evil on the earth was so great when the flood came... GOD is just always.

The people considered they were to be scattered abroad and decided to make the city and the tower..

If we consider the world today and English being used far and wide... are they not also trying escape the firmament?

So once again before that Great and terrible day One family will be saved by Faith in the Testimony of the Messiah.

After the flood , all the humans that time were the descendants of Noah , so they surely could communicate well one and another, and if there was magnificent tower , this tower would be the monument for them and their descendant later, meant although they multiplied they surely would be only one nationality with one language , so God’s plan about humans in this earth would be constrained , because God wanted His people as the special one as the chosen people / Born of God they should differ from the common people/Born of Flesh ,( the Chosen = born of God = there is spirit being within the physical body (zec12:1)/ God sent them to wander/sojourn to the earth (1Pet1:17), born of flesh = common people = dust (Gen3:14 , Ecc12:7 ,Rom9:7-8) = there is no spirit being within the physical body/ God didn’t put spirit beings within their physical bodies ( merely as animal ecc3:19) .

Zec12:1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

1Pet1:17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

Gen3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life

Ecc12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it

Rom9:7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
9:8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed

Ecc3:19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.

Is this when you declare that you are God's prophet and we should put our bibles down and blindly obey you?

no I think you should put your bible down because you use it as a weaponn,
your bio said you believe in love, that is love when they agree with you,
secondly i would suggest that you put your bible down because to you its just a book, brass and cymbals.

Gen 11:1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
Gen 11:2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
Gen 11:3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.
Gen 11:4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
Gen 11:5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
Gen 11:6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
Gen 11:7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
Gen 11:8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
Gen 11:9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

This is what happens when people are together as one,and they can communicate with each other, that they get arrogant, and think themselves to be special.

They wanted to build a tower, and make a name for themselves, which sounds like they were cutting God out of the picture, and acknowledging that people are something special, and that it is about them with no higher power above them.

Nothing will be restrained from them which they have imagined to do,which they will only go by what they want to do,and think, not giving heed to the higher power above them.

God confounded their language so they could not communicate with each other, and come together, for when the whole earth comes together it will be to exalt people, and not acknowledge a higher power, for their arrogance sky rockets, and they think themselves more than they are,and they can accomplish wonderful things.

Also God had the plan to spread His truth throughout the earth, and the tower which involved the whole earth would put a damper on that if God allowed them to have their way,and not acknowledge a God but say it is all about people.

That is what it seems like to me,and also it is not the time for God to allow the world to come together, which God is going to allow the world to come together in the future, for it is the time for God to allow the world a certain amount of time, and cause those that do not love Him to follow a kingdom that is all about people with no higher power above them,so God can end this sin business on earth.

God will not give up on the world until the world gives up on Him,so God will allow them to have their way for a certain amount of time to rebel against Him,and then He will put them down.

The world will soon go back to the attitude of the tower of Babel, and they will say,let us make a name for ourselves, and they will think, and do,what they want to do,and cut God out of the picture, and say it is all about people with no higher power above them.

The man of sin will head up the beast kingdom, and he will be in to the occult, nature worship, witchcraft, and spiritual evolution through nature, and will not honor the God of his fathers, but in his estate he will honor the God of forces,or the force of nature as his higher power, and he will not regard any god,but he will exalt himself above all that is called God or worshipped, and exalt himself above all people, and convince the world that he harnessed the power of nature, and obtained power.

Nothing will be restrained from them that they have imagined to do,and the new age movement,as well as many people, believe that the mind creates reality more than the world of sense, and the universe is mental.

What ever they imagine they can do,they believe it is possible, and they are waiting for the New Age Christ to bring power through nature to them, which they cannot obtain on their own although they believe there is a benefit to stones and crystals, but not the kind of benefit that they thrist for.

How can you reach these people if they can have any reality they want, for what are you going to tell them.

The tower of Babel is coming back, and the world will be together, and this they begin to do,for their arrogance will sky rocket, and they will think themselves something special, and cut God out of the picture, and have a kingdom that acknowledges no higher power, for this is what happens when people in big numbers come together, for when the whole world comes together it is not to acknowledge a God,for that is the purpose why they came together,to exalt themselves.

Zec 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
Zec 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Zec 14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

Isa 13:6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
Isa 13:7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:
Isa 13:8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
Isa 13:9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
Isa 13:10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
Isa 13:11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

Yes you are correct, Ch.6-10; First came the flood because the whole world did evil from the time they woke up. And then came the tower of Babel and God confused their language, Ch.11.Then Terah gives birth to Abram through whom we receive the promise of our Savior Jesus Christ - and here we are today.

“Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done."

“As long as the earth endures,
seedtime and harvest,
cold and heat,
summer and winter,
day and night
will never cease.” Genesis 9:21,22

The most incredible part about Noah having such great faith is that before the flood it had NEVER even rained on earth....

Yes it was incredible, and I aways thought that every swing of Noah's hammer and every bit of pitch he put on the Arch was an act of faith because as you say, there was no rain before.
