Yes it was incredible, and I aways thought that every swing of Noah's hammer and every bit of pitch he put on the Arch was an act of faith because as you say, there was no rain before.
Just think.....what saved Noah....

a. The seed of faith <----without this "b" would have never happened....

or

b. The ark

BY FAITH NOAH being warned of something not seen as of yet, MOVED with fear......

That has been the theory , but not entirely true. the earth had always had rain to nourish the fields and the herbs of the fields. vegetation needed rain to grow the same way it does today., and there was plenty vegetation for the wild beast and cattle of the fields. Just because it never talked about it before the flood ,don't mean that it did not rain. The only thing God did was increased the rain at a non stop pace, and as it flooded the earth,it could no longer sustain the water so he rose to the top of the tallest mountain.

The bible clearly states why God didn't want them to build the tower.
It wasn't merely that they didn't do it "with" him, it was that they wanted to be like him.
God was angry because they wanted to be like Him? No.....He want us to be like Him...Why would he punish His people for wanting to be like him?

The evil on the earth was so great when the flood came... GOD is just always.

The people considered they were to be scattered abroad and decided to make the city and the tower..

If we consider the world today and English being used far and wide... are they not also trying escape the firmament?

So once again before that Great and terrible day One family will be saved by Faith in the Testimony of the Messiah.
Well believe it or not, it was not the human factor that was the problem. All of the humans had been corrupted at the DNA level by the fallen ones ,to the point where they were no longer even human. They were ALL now nephilim with the exception of Noah and his family. After the flood they agreed to build a tower so they could open portals to the heavens. The heaves they were talking of was not God's heaven but the dimension where the fallen ones lived...They wanted the tech that they had before the flood and the teachings that the fallen were teaching them. They wanted to be like the gods... Not to be like God.

The only way people are going to get any insight on what you are talking about is to read the book of Enoch with an open mind. seeing it for themselves, because if they have never heard it before, they will not believe it one way or the other.

as the days of Noe [Noah]

In Noah’s day, my guess is the chief cause of the violence and chaos of
world conditions was racial hatreds, interracial marriages, and racial
violence caused by man’s efforts toward integration and amalgamation
of races, contrary to God’s laws. God had set the boundary lines for the
nations and the races at the beginning.

(Deuteronomy 32:8-9; Acts 17:26)

26And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all
the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed,
and the bounds of their habitation; Acts 17:26

8When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance,
when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people,
according to the number of the children of Israel. Deuteronomy 32:8-9

But men had refused to remain in the lands to which God had assigned them.
That was one of the the cause of the corruption and violence that ended that
world. For 100 years Noah had preached God’s ways to the people.

At that time, even as today, that world faced a population explosion.
It was when “men began to multiply on the face of the earth” (Genesis 6:1).

Jesus said, of our time, right now, “But as the days of Noe [Noah] were,
so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:37)—or, as in
Luke 17:26,“And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days
of the Son of man.” That is, the days just before Christ returns.

Today race wars, race hatreds, race riots and race problems and religions,
also the [family breakdown], are among the world’s greatest social troubles.

Where does the Word say its wrong to mix races of people?

Acts 17:26 You took this one out of context. Paul was talking about God Himself not the mixing of races.

Deuteronomy 32:8-9 You took this out of context. The Book is talking here, of God settling the inheritance of His people. NOt the mixing of races. He was setting the borders of each people's lands.

Where does the Word say its wrong for people to go from their lands to the lands of another? You gave no scripture for that.

Lastly, the days of Noah had nothing to do with people traveling, or not liking each other. Dig deeper.

I'm sorry. You have this totally mixed up and confused there is no real truth in what you've written. You need to go back to the Book and start again...This time, don't lean on other men to teach you. The Father gave you His Holy Spirit to teach you, and He is more than qualified to give you the truth of it.

All of the humans had been corrupted at the DNA level by the fallen ones ,
to the point where they were no longer even human.
.
God destroyed that age because the wickedness of [man] the bible says.
not because there was no real humans left around.

And God saw that the wickedness [of man] was great in the earth, and that
every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

3And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with [man], for that he
also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

6And it repented the Lord that he had made [man] on the earth,
and it grieved him at his heart.

7And the Lord said, [I will destroy man whom I have created] from
the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing,
and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
'
-not I will destroy what the angeles and humans made

11The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

-not because of bad dna and no humans left

Jesus said, of our time, right now, “But as the days of Noe [Noah] were,

anyhow evil and corrupt... however etc..

Are we not in those times or close to?

i do consider that we are living in similar times... evil spirits revealing things to humans...

This time there is a New Covenant where we are saved.

The rainbow movement is in reference to the flood I believe...

Corrupt world and time is nearing.

The bible refutes the book of enoch as scripture.

Jesus Himself said: "No man hath ascended up to heaven,
but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man"

Enoch Walked With God (Gen. 5:22)

At the age of 65 Enoch had a son named Methuselah.
"And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah
three hundred years, and he begat sons and daughters"
.

Hebrews 11:6 the apostle said, "But without faith it is impossible
to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

So He obeyed God, and followed Him in His paths by faith.
Amos the prophet said: "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?"

The scripture says that he "walked with God after he begat Methuselah
three hundred years." So Enoch followed God's ways for three hundred years.
Moses did not record that Enoch [is still] walking with God.

"all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years" If Enoch did
not die - if he were changed to immortality - and thus continued to walk with God,
then his days would have been more than three hundred and sixty-five years.

Enoch's Translation

Moses wrote that "Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God
took him" (Gen. 5:24). Paul records the same event by saying that he
"was not found, because God had translated him" (Heb. 11:5).

That Enoch was not found because God took him, or "translated" him.
The Bible does not say that Enoch went to heaven when he was translated.
Instead it says he was not found. Certainly Enoch was "translated,"

The original Greek word for "translate" is metatithemi.
According to Arndt-Gingrich's Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament,
1969 edition, the primary meaning is to "convey to another place ... transfer"

Jacob died his body was "carried over"

This same Greek word is rendered "carried over" in Acts 7:16.
Here we read that after Jacob died his body was "carried over"
- transported, translated - to Sychem where he was buried!

Jacob was transported or translated to the place of burial!
That is why Moses said that God took Enoch. God removed - translated
- him so that he was not found. God took Enoch and buried him!

In Deuteronomy 34:6 we read also how God took Moses from the people
after which he died and was buried by God. "But no man knoweth his
sepulchre unto this day." God removed Moses - God translated him - and
he was not found either!

He was taken away and was not found. All his days were three hundred
and sixty-five! That's as long as Enoch lived.

Colossians 1:13: the Father "hath delivered us from the power of darkness,
and hath [translated us] into the kingdom of his dear Son." Here the Bible
says that Christians are already translated - but Christians still die!

Enoch is included by Paul (in Hebrews 11) among the fathers who obtained
a good report through faith; but"these all, having obtained a good report
through faith, received not the promise" (Heb. 11:39). What promise?

The "hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie,
promised before the world began" (Titus 1:2).

Enoch and all the worthies of old will receive the promise of eternal life
at the return of Christ, the same time Christians obtain it (Heb. 11:40)
"These all died in faith, not having received the promises."

Paul tells us: Abel, Enoch, Noah, and the patriarchs and their wives. Heb 11:1-12
lists those who had faith and Enoch is included among them. Then in verse 13 Paul
proved that they had not inherited the promises by saying:

"These all [including Enoch] died in faith." But what about Paul's saying
that Enoch "should not see death"?

There is more than one death mentioned in the Bible.
There is a first death, and there is a second death (Rev. 20:6).

The first death is appointed unto men (Heb. 9:27). That death cannot
be humanly evaded. It is inevitable, and that death Enoch died.

But Paul was not writing about that death. The phrase "should not see"
is in the conditional tense of the verb, having reference to a future event.

It is not in the past tense, that he "did not see" death - but that he
"should not see death." So this death that Enoch escaped by being
translated is one that he can escape in the future on certain conditions!

In John 8:51 Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my
saying, he shall never see death" - shall never see - that is, suffer - the
second death! And again in John 11:26, "Whosoever liveth and believeth
in me shall never die" - or "shall not die forever."

And Enoch will be in the first resurrection because he met the conditions!
The second death shall never touch Enoch, because of his faith and obedience.

Enoch had faith. He believed God and walked with God, obeying Him.
Jesus did not speak of Himself, but spoke what the Father commanded Him.

God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony,
that he pleased God."

Enoch lived only three hundred and sixty-five. Why?

Clearly Enoch died a premature death! He did not complete his normal
life cycle. He was cut off, as it were, inthe midst of his days.

Why Lamech's Boast?

Lamech, a descendant of Cain (not the same person listed in the genealogy
of Genesis 5), boasted to his two wives: "I have slain a man to my wounding,
and a young man to my hurt. If Cain be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech
seventy and sevenfold" (Gen. 4:23-24).

The "man"was Cain. Hence Lamech's reference to the fact that God
would take vengeance on anyone who dared to murder Cain.

But who was the "young man"? Enoch at age three hundred and sixty-five
would certainly be considered a young man by his generation.

Enoch walked with God. Furthermore, he prophesied of the coming of Christ
to execute judgment and [to convict the ungodly] (Jude 14-15). He was in
effect a "preacher of righteousness" (compare II Peter 2:5).

But God's message has never been popular. As a servant of God, Enoch
undoubtedly convicted and enraged many by his message. His life was in
danger. Finally that ungodly generation tolerated Enoch's preaching no longer.

By comparing Lamech's saying with the age of Enoch at his death,
we may deduce from Scripture that Lamech (by himself or with a mob)
stilled Enoch's voice by murder. Don't think this strange or unusual.

Hebrew tradition reveals that Noah, the great grandson of Enoch,
had to flee for his life in order to carry out the Work of God.
(Josephus, Antiquities of the Jews, book I, chapter 3, section 1, ).

"But Noah was very uneasy at what they [the pre Flood world] did;
and being displeased at their conduct, persuaded [urged] them to change
their dispositions and their acts for the better: but seeing they did not yield
to him, but were slaves to their wicked pleasures, he was afraid they would
kill him, together with his wife and children, and those they hadmarried;
so he departed out of the land"

God allowed Enoch to be martyred. But He would not permit his body to be
desecrated or publicly displayed. God physically removed his body, very
likely in the sight of his murderers - before they could defile it. Otherwise
how would anyone have known that God had taken him?

A Sign from God

God gave this sign of physical removal as a type for all those who should later follow
Enoch's example of faith. He was taken physically from the people just as Christians
are to be spiritually removed from the ways of this world.

The physical translation or carrying away of Enoch was also a sign from God
that his faith had been accepted -God often gives signs (Isaiah 38:7).

The question may arise, why did God allow His righteous servant Enoch to die?
The Bible contains - if you have eyes to see - a chronicle or obituary of the death
of the prophets and apostles of God throughout history.

Many of the greatest men of the Bible were martyred. God is concerned with one's
physical welfare. But Heis more concerned with one's spiritual state and one's
eternal life. Enoch had to be willing to die for the truth he preached.

Like every true saint, Enoch is awaiting the hope of the resurrection
and the return of Jesus Christ, the Messiah (Jude 14, 15).

That Enoch was not found because God took him, or "translated" him.

OK Borrow this....
Genesis 5:24
And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

CJB
Hanokh walked with God, and then he wasn’t there, because God took him.

MSG
Enoch walked steadily with God. And then one day he was simply gone: God took him.

NIV
Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

So...Oh My!! You're right! God translated Enoch from here to there. LOL God took him or God translated him is the same thing.
