I already have clearly spelled out what I believe in regards to being saved in many posts in different threads but you do not believe me. In this thread x2 and in other threads.

Post 22438 linked

Post 19989 linked

You should believe God's Word.
Funny. MMD hates the tradition of MAN, like the Traditions taught in a particular denomination.
But in YOUR case, following the Tradition of Man is exactly what you should be doing! (according to him)
SUNDAY worship was created by man. I also don't see where GOD changed it.

I worship on Sunday because I like to celebrate Jesus resurrection. However, I'm fully aware that the resurrection may not even have occurred on Sunday... No one seems to be absolutely sure.

Now --- IF Jesus really did resurrect on Sunday, maybe GOD DID change it.
All we know for sure is that the Apostles got together on the first day of the week, and that was Sunday.

BUT if the SDA want to celebrate on Saturday, what business is that of mine?? The Choir I was in many years ago used to sing at some of their churches. I never heard anything strange from the pulpit.

Dare I say it --- I hear very strange ideas right here on this thread.

And MMD should be consistent!

It took reading your posts over and over to understand. At least I think I do.

We are the righteousness ness of God in Christ Jesus, true. It is freely given or imputed to us when we believe.

But, we aren't complete and won't be until we are with Him. What I am saying, is that it's the work of Holy Spirit together in our spirit, to bring us to a place where we experience living and moving and having our being with Him. We don't even have any idea of what His entire plan is for us when we are first born again.

The idea of wanting to sin while in union with Jesus, knowing He is the same as Father, Holy, yet so full of love is erroneous; because we aren't the same as we were before being born again.

Our flesh life and wanting our own way, we can see through time and experiences of life, is not pleasing, and we desire to be like Him.

Everything we have in order to live a godly life is given at first, true. Being formed into His image is a process.

I believe God is more merciful than people want to credit to Him. He has to be or He would wipe us out for the things being said and done all over the world.

Hope this helps.

Alack of believing the Word is what causes us to not get what righteousness actually is

i john 3:Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.5And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.8He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

apparently John had the " right and wrong mindset" regarding what we actually do whether right, or wrong. to say im righteous is one thing, what We do is what defines that righteousness. truly its a free gift, meant for us to excercise and live and walk in, doing the right, and casting the wrong away.

if i steal from you, i have sinned, if i offer help to you in your time of need ive acted in righteousness. if i lie to you, I have sinned, If i speak the truth to you, im acting in righteousness. If I tell someone I saw you steal something, when you did not steal it, i have born false witness against you and have sinned. if i say " I didnt see anyone steal anything" I have acted in righteousness.

If I covet your wife or possessions that leads to envy, I have sinned, If I have no desire for your wife and possessions, am Happy for your success, I am acting in righteousness. if i sleep with your wife while you are at work, or cheat with another woman when im married, ive commited adultery and Have sinned. If I am faithful to my Wife, and if im unmarried and refuse to sleep with another mans wife, I have acted in righteousness.

No matter How we try to explain it it remains the same. If I am acting according to what God said is right I am righteous, if i act in the things He said is Sin, I am sinning.

surely Christ Gave us righteousness, for He gave us the holy spirit. the error is trying to make what we actually do, meaningless, Christ made us able, thats How He has given the gift of Righteousness. the power to act according to the ways of God. at the same time, when we sin, we Have an advocate , interceeding for us. we have been given all we need already. our place is to grow in it and practice in it, repent of the sin, and follow the gift of righteousness. righteous is, as righteous does. not what we have done in the past, what we do today, tomorrow and always Having been given that Gift. His righteousness is real, tangible it changes us if we allow it to do so, but always, it is our place to act in the things of God and not try to change what things are.
when can full understanding , be understood, without understanding the consequence of not entering, that kept you from entering. in the first place.
if your love condemns, it must be lie,.....................................etc

What is interesting in peoples behaviour is not allowing people to believe their perspective
and then see how emotionally it is expressed.

I have found often two people can say different things but mean the same, because their
emphasis to each point is identical, but the words and traditions they are part of vary.
So you get a believing catholic, and a superstitious catholic, a believing reformed believer,
and a legalistic condemning reformed believer. Often it is not so much what you believe
but the spirit you express it. Jesus talked about briars, thorn bushes, thistles.
It is amazing how many thorn bushes exist yet claim to be nice and gentle until you disagree
with some pet theological idea at which you become the spawn of satan, and are definately
going to hell.

Our mistake is thinking likewise rather than recognising an insecure person who cannot let
others be, and then let love work its way and the Lord convict.

Some have said their goal is to expose others, when it appears this is just miss understanding

I'm still doing the believing that started 31 years ago. That's means I'm saved:

"...you are saved if you hold fast the word..." (1 Corinthians 15:2 NASB)

Holding fast the word does not constitute a works gospel, as so many instantly think it does when you tell them what the Bible says you are to 'do' to be saved now and onward to the Day of Judgment. It's interesting that you have to cast doubt on my own salvation simply because I say what the Bible says, that we have to keep believing to the very end to be saved in the very end.
Quite frankly, I'm rather stunned when persons ask about our status with God.
First of all, it should be obvious from what one posts.
Second of all, WHY are they asking??

As far as I can tell, those that ask are the REAL legalists (pharisees?).
Why. Because they have some kind of "formula" that has to be followed or a person is not "really" saved.
Just like when I hear someone using the term "real" christian. I guess there are fake Christians.

As far as I'm concerned, if someone tells me they love God and are living for Him, that's all I need to know.
I don't have any further questions for them. Who am I to ask?
It's between them and God.
If they love God, how could they NOT be saved?
Love implies a lot.

I see that you are still under the Law in the OT. So everyone who does NOT observe the Saturday Sabbath under the OT Law with all it's rules and regulations is an unbeliever? Your true colors are really showing. Genuine believers do not twist the Word of God and try to keep people under the Law. Genuine believers trust in Jesus Christ (and not the Law) as the means of their salvation.

I went to the website in your post "The BeastsMark is Coming! and it sounds so familiar.

Bible Truth Versus Adventist Truth - Mark of the Beast

I agree...

If we think that keeping the Sabbath means what we do or don't do one a certain day - whether Saturday or Sunday - we have missed Christ Himself who is our true Sabbath. The Old Testament view of the Sabbath is a mere shadow of the real thing - which is Christ Himself.

I encourage all of us to look into the New Covenant and we will begin to experience the true Sabbath rest that the Old Testament alludes to - and it is Christ Himself.

( I fixed your post and added in the "NOT" - I knew what you meant...:)

And that is key.....you never stopped trusting in Christ.
You were struggling WITHIN your faith in Christ, not walking outside of faith in Christ in unbelief. Christ had you covered every step you took backwards in your struggle.

Yes.....people who haven't walked the difficult roads in their faith in Christ........yet. Untested people. They can be quite annoying.

Their fault being they do not know how to discern between the struggling saint and the person who is sinning because they have left the faith altogether. When you've 'been there, done that' you get a certain capacity for discerning the struggling saint vs. the 'I don't care' unbeliever/former believer.
AMEN TO ALL !!

Could it be any clearer ?

'We are saved unto good works, not by them. Some people on this thread put the emphasis on works after you are saved, rather than growing in grace and the knowledge of Jesus Christ. These would be teacher's try so hard to lord it over believer's with works and do's and don'ts. But God looks at the heart not at the outward appearance. The Scribe's and Pharisee's had their works system down to perfection. But Jesus said to them; "woe unto you Scribe's and Pharisee's."

My point is, even if we are a raisin on the vine Jesus Love's us, and He will reward us when the awards are given out.

Rev. 22:12 Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.

The Meaning of the
Judgment (Bema) Seat

Both Romans 14:10 and 2 Corinthians 5:9 speak of the “judgment seat.” This is a translation of one Greek word, the word bema. While bema is used in the gospels and Acts of the raised platform where a Roman magistrate or ruler sat to make decisions and pass sentence (Matt. 27:19; John 19:13), its use in the epistles by Paul, because of his many allusions to the Greek athletic contests, is more in keeping with its original use among the Greeks.

This word was taken from Isthmian games where the contestants would compete for the prize under the careful scrutiny of judges who would make sure that every rule of the contest was obeyed (cf. 2 Tim. 2:5). The victor of a given event who participated according to the rules was led by the judge to the platform called the Bema. There the laurel wreath was placed on his head as a symbol of victory (cf. 1 Cor. 9:24-25).

In all of these passages, “Paul was picturing the believer as a competitor in a spiritual contest. As the victorious Grecian athlete appeared before the Bema to receive his perishable award, so the Christian will appear before Christ’s Bema to receive his imperishable award. The judge at the Bema bestowed rewards to the victors. He did not whip the losers.”[SUP]2[/SUP] "
We might add, neither did he sentence them to hard labor."
Just let me say this Truth Talk since I apparently am one of those terrible persons who preach"works".
May it never be that we should do something for God!!

If you're my neighbor

Galatians 5:15-16 (NASB)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] But if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another.

[SUP]16 [/SUP] But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

2 Corinthians 12:20 (NASB)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] For I am afraid that perhaps when I come I may find you to be not what I wish and may be found by you to be not what you wish; that perhaps there will be strife, jealousy, angry tempers, disputes, slanders, gossip, arrogance, disturbances;

This that slander others in the body of Chrsity are baby Christians just as Petert says about them. Babaies act wlike babies do but at some point we all need to grow up in the Lord.

If someone has a different view than some one else on a subject - they feel it is their right to slander the other person publicly. It's the way of the flesh.

We just forgive them, bless them in the name of the Lord and walk on in the Lord. All is well......:).

We have a great salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ and He will be faithful to all of us! We have a good , good Father!

1 Peter 2:1-2 (NASB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander,

[SUP]2 [/SUP] like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation,

I agree...there is no denomination nor minister that has it "all right." We are all learning how to live by the life of Another - Christ Himself in us and we see through a glass darkly.

We have these flesh bodies with the brain and everything filters through that which is why it is so important to have our minds renewed to Christ Himself and all that He has already done on the cross and resurrection.

AMEN, Sister,

those whom Jesus has called, never hesitate to take care of their own, or others, as they are led,..
in any capacity or problems presented,..this is where Jesus' 'discernment comes in'.,,

when one comes continually up with excuses to NOT get 'involved' or 'help',
at any expense, then, the writing is on the wall!

we only have to Trust our Saviour to guide and lead us to do His Holy Will, and DO IT...
this is our God-Given-Faith, if we don't use it, then we will lose it...

My wife and I do the things you speak about, we are both loving and giving at home and where we see a need and we can fulfill a need. My post is about people who boast in their works not in the cross.
Excuse me if I wasn't clear - my post was steeped in good will.
