Matt 24 teaches me that at that point the tribulation is over, Jesus comes back, with His Bride, gathers his people, and sets up a thousand years reign in the Earth. It teaches me that if you and I are here at that time we've missed the rapture, missed being the bride. We get to live with Him but not as the bride,
Here is what I see.
Jesus said we would not be subject to God's wrath.
But some teach that the time of tribulation is God's wrath, which is not true.
Two different words with two different meanings.
Down through the ages, men, even children of God have suffered tribulation.
Jesus said in Matthew 24 that certain events would come to pass and then a time of "great tribulation" like never before.
This "great tribulation" is described in the seals and trumps.
The ungodly men of this time will believe it is God's wrath and they say so in Rev.6.
Please note who makes this claim in Rev. 6.
But God's wrath is announced from Heaven at the seventh trump when Jesus returns. It will be poured out after Matthew 24: 29-31 takes place.
We will not suffer the wrath of God, but we, like saints before us suffer tribulation.
Some will die. But God will protect those he chooses to bring through those times just like he has in the past and as He will protect Israel during this time.
We do not have to be "raptured" before the time of tribulation in order to escape God's wrath.
