This is horrible for two reasons I can think of immediately.
There are probably more.

1. Jesus said a house divided against itself cannot stand. When did he say this? When he was exorcising demons from persons and being accused that He was doing so by the power of Satan.

So when people pray to Mary, do you think they have God on their mind or Satan?


2. This is the mother of Jesus. What if someone called your mother Satan?
Ask forgiveness of her SON and have some respect!

That image is not the Mother of Jesus and praying to Mary is idolatry!

While this is completely off topic, the answer is "Neither". They have Mary on their mind, and that is not something taught in Scripture. To say anything more would derail this thread.

So just get back to roast pork or pork chops and offer an outstanding recipe. Just don't call it Mary's Recipe.

Well....for breakfast....a big plate of peppered pork sausage and gravy over fresh homemade buttermilk biscuits....hahahha lots of thick ground pepper and salt mmmmmmmmm haha

1. Rome's image of Mary is not Mary. It's just an image promoted as being Mary. God doesn't like idols. His house is not divided, He keeps it together.

Only one praying could answer that, however, when someone prays Hail Mary I'm sure they know they aren't praying to God.

2. No it's not the mother of Jesus, it's an idol. Once again, God doesn't like idols.

So this is a photo of Mary the handmaid of the LORD you say? nope it's just an idol.
What if someone called my mother satan? Well my mom is dead but when she was alive she would probably say that she had been called worse.

Our job is to share the Gospel with those who do not know Christ.
If a person is absolutely promoting idolatry, our job is stated in 2 Timothy 2:24-26;

"4 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 25 Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will."

But know this, be sure you are correctly using the Word of God towards someone who is promoting idolatry.
Otherwise, you will be the one guilty of causing strife within the body of Christ.

ANYONE who claims to be CHRISTIAN and is not insulted and harmed by that horrble post should rethink what being Christian is all about.

Forget about swine and pork hogs.

Actually it refers to people and food. God Himself prophesied in Genesis 9:3 that there would come a day when eating anything will not be religiously wrong. The reason they had such physical rules in the Old Testament is because they were representations of the spiritual things to come in the New Testament. "The reality is found in Christ."

We no longer go by the physical rules of Moses, (Romans 7;1-4), but only by the spiritual rules of Christ- Who now has all authority over God's people today. (Matthew 28:18).

Amen. To eat is to do the will of the Creator. It what he created a stomach for ...to live.If we do not eat what he designed for these bodies of death they will die prematurely


I becomes eating the food of whose will? Satan as in the Garden? Or Emnanuel who walked with them as the faithful Creator ?
