~Rom 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
Obedience to the faith. Attentive hearkening is the definition.
Disobedience is unbelief.
Stone, you really should try to study what the difference is between:
obedience to the Law
Obedience of faith
What you say above is completely wrong.... as is much of what I hear on this thread and I do hope those reading along will study what I suggest and not listen to what is being said here..

What YOU are saying is that OBEDIENCE TO FAITH is only LISTENING.
Do you not want to do ANYTHING FOR GOD but LISTEN?
Really, how lazy do we want to be?
OBEDIENCE TO FAITH does NOT mean to listen.
It means to OBEY BECAUSE WE HAVE FAITH.
It means to obey His word.
This means to obey what Jesus said.
Romans 1:5 says that we have received grace to bring about the obedience of faith.
Romans 16.26 All nations will show obedience of faith. Again, because of our faith in Christ.
Do you think that God tell us things so we could HEAR THEM
or do you think God tells us things so we could DO THEM?
