Clap your hands! I havent researched how many times it's been said in Scripture, but the fact it is encouraged means it must be good. I didnt use to when young, but now i know i've to clap esp at the start or singing praises.

Psalms 47:1 - (To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah.) O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

Psalms 98:8 - Let the floods clap [their] hands: let the hills be joyful together

Isaiah 55:12 - For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap [their] hands.

An fb post i read, slightly edited. Idk how much studies they have on this, and a few sites where i saw it promoted are some indian sites. But try, for it does help when i am lethargic=).

"... it is absolutely right and worth too, simply we can say... we basically clap our hands when we cheer or encourage someone. We also clap when we are happy and excited. Many people also clap while singing. Clapping hands is fun. This is why many children like clapping. Lets see how clapping helps.

Clapping hands will help you get relief from heart disease and asthma related problems. It helps a lot in nerves which connects heart, liver, lungs etc, if we clap your hands it helps nerves to work better. You will feel better and more relaxed.
.
It boosts your immunity because it strengthens the white blood cells in your body; these protect your body from any kind of illness...
Clapping stimulates blood circulation and removes all obstructions in the veins and arteries, including bad cholesterol. If you Clap 1,500 times a day will keep you fit.

Clapping hands can help train children motor skills so that they can produce neat handwriting, write better..."

Hello all or hello some of you all! My little Ella, a Jack Russell, died in June. I had adopted her just over three years previous, she was already quite old, and it turned out she had a liver ailment which finally took her from us.

I adopted another, but this time only five years old. She started out being very skittish but she has progressed to giving me orders so all is well. She too is part Jack Russell but the rest is Corgi, and, believe it or not, this combo is becoming recognized as a breed calle, , you won't believe this, Cojack. So I have a Cojack.

She is very smart. I have questions on doggy behavior. She will come to my bedroom and with one paw tap at regular intervals on my chest until I awake and acknowledge her. Does she want anything in particualar. I know fromthe moment I get up she runs in small circles in front of me when I am walking because she is ready to go for her walk.

She watches tv. Today in a commercial for hotel bookings with an own for a spokes man she began barking at it like crazy. Later a group of puppies were running around and she became quite animated. Maybe I shold send her off to college. She is too smart for any lower level schools.

One final thing, when I pet her, many times she will rear up on her fanny, back sstraight up and down and attempt to pupp m,y hand . It is cute, but she is so thin I fear it may be harmfu to her in the distant future so I am trying to discourage her from doing this, though it is very cute.

She has three of her own beds, but at times she bounds onto my bed, actually, onto me, and small as she is, it is quite a shock....I will get over it because she is a wonderful companion and friend. When I look at her, and know her, it makes me wonder how people can deliberately harm any animal. I tell she is wonderful........of cousr any of you with your own companion know this already and that yours it teh best in the world....God bless you, and if you have any comments on her behavior....please share with me. I want her always understanding and understood........j

My favorite scenes in the movie Forrest Gump are the two scenes where bullies chase him, first on their bicycles LINK, and then in an old pickup truck. LINK LINKcon't I love the music in that pickup truck scene. :)

edit: Mild profanity at the end of that last clip.
