THE UNSEEN REALM
God wants us to experience Him, but he lives in another realm, it is called the unseen realm.
When our spirit becomes alive unto God, it has the ability to commune with God. Our spirit becoming alive to God means that he has joined himself to it, because we have opened up our spirit for God to live inside of it.
Our spirit has certain senses, and the reason it has these senses is so that we can be aware of God, so that we can develop a relationship with Him.
The relationship we can have with God can be more intimate than our relationship with other people, because he literally steps inside of us. He joins himself to our spirit, so that it becomes one spirit with Him. It is called mystical union with Christ, the new creation, a new kind of being that never existed before.
When our spirit becomes alive to God, it becomes God conscious. This is not believing that God exists, it is experiencing the essence of God inside of us. It is what the Bible calls being born again. This is a sudden climatic experience called being once for all enlightened, our life can now never be the same as it was before because we have been born again.
Being born again gives us the ability to see and enter into the kingdom of heaven, right now. The enemy has twisted the good news, he knows that if he cannot stop a person from getting saved, then he has to twist the message and put it off into the future.
So this is how the enemy works. You need to get saved; you must be born again so that when you die you will go to heaven.
John 3:3. 3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born (the action subject to a condition of receiving the action, not continuous, but a decisive act with permanent results, to be born) again (from ánō- above, and the suffix –then denoting from- From above) he cannot (something which is occurring now as the speaker is making the statement. Two words in the Greek 1- to be able, have power 2-not, expressing direct and full negation) see (specific point in time, sudden climatic experience, implying not the mere act of seeing but the actual perception of some object, "'to experience, encounter, participate in )the kingdom(the realm God has control over) of God.
The new birth of our spirit means God commands light to shine into it, so that the eyes of our spirit start to function. We become aware of a different realm.
Just like our spirit has senses, so does our soul, our soul is the part of us that gives us self awareness. What we are seeing with our spirit has to be translated to our soul so that we can be aware of it.
Our soul has senses; one of those senses is our imagination, the screen of our mind. Because the sense of imagination is starting to be developed in me, I ask the Lord to give me dreams, because my imagination functions better when I am asleep. In my dream I saw a veil, it looked like some sort of energy field vibrating- like those lights they have that zaps flying insects, except it was not that bright, it was just there as close as my face. So I stepped through it, but because I was not familiar with the space I stepped into, I stepped right back.
When I was awake, I now had a picture in my mind that I could use to engage God with. So by faith I stepped through the veil, the senses of my mind and emotions, was heightened, it was like wow! The thoughts of God spontaneously flowed into my mind, which is called revelation. With revelation comes feeling, a sense of awe and wonder. When you enter into this place with God, most of the time you don’t want to leave, but sometimes it is intense so that I tune out of it, break the connection or focus.
This I call being in the spirit, where my spirit is communing with God’s Spirit, and his life then is flowing into my soul, so that I am aware of it. This for me is being beyond the veil, and in this place amazing things can happen. Like the apostle John, when you are in this space with God you can hear the call, to come up here and have heavenly encounters, which many people who read what I write already of have had.
But if your spirit is alive to God, you have already sensed the presence of God. You have felt it. Feeling is the doorway into the spiritual realm. When you have felt the presence of God it flowed into your body and we describe it as having goose bumps.
God has given us emotions so that we can feel Him, when we are feeling him; his life is flowing into our emotions. This is called first love, because feeling God’s love for us, will cause our body to produce tears, but these our tears of joy because we are realizing God’s love for us.
Now the gateway called first love is a doorway into the kingdom of God. The love that God feels for us, is the same love that we express back to Him and that we are to direct to others.
Love is a motivational force that will cause us to act. Because love is more than just an emotion, it is an action. If you say you love someone but there is no action to meet their need, when you have the power to do so, do you really love them?
Now when we meet difficult people, that cause the self-life in us to be offended, how do we naturally respond? We say and do things that are not very nice, but if we have experienced the love of God for us, then we can move in the opposite spirit that is coming against us we just have to practice. We call these people grace growers, or brother or sister sand paper that rub us the wrong way.
I can tune into the love of God at will for other people, unless the pressure against me is too intense, then I just need some time alone so that I can respond correctly. It is not good to say or do things or make decisions when our emotions are troubled. We have to learn how to take captive our thoughts and the emotions they produce, when we are on this side of the veil where we are occupied with the natural world, so that those thoughts and feelings are subject to the Christ that is in us, in our spirit.
One of the senses of our spirit is its ability to experience the fear of the Lord. I can tune into it by my will. I ask God to search my heart, and I can see through his eyes when I fall short. It causes my body to tremble or shake a little; I can tune it in or off. This is not being scared of God, it is experiencing the life of God flowing into us, and it causes us to feel closer to God, not father away from him.
Once the senses of our spirit are alive to God, and his life is flowing into our soul so that we are aware of it, we then have the ability to reengage with it, it is called practicing the presence of God, and when we are aware of the presence of God, we are aware of the unseen realm.
