I don't know why anyone would care what kind of shoes the First Lady wears. There's clearly bigger issues than her fashion.
That was the point of the article that I read about the criticism that the Trumps got from the news teams. Crazy. I hear that the President gave a million dollars for the flood relief our of his own money.

Uh, huh.

This is writer from Vogue Magazine that criticized Melania Trump for her stilettos she wore getting on the plane to visit Houston. She was appropriately attired when landed.

Why Vogue?

I'm done.

If that really is a fashion writer for Vogue, then I agree with *Stonesoffire*.

God did not make her fat. He didn't force her hair to grow that way. He didn't dump a can of red paint on her head. He did not hideously paint up her face like a clown. And he certainly didn't pick out that dress.

If you are going to hold yourself up to be qualified to use a National publication to criticize strikingly attractive women like Melania, (who work hard to stay looking like that) you dang well better at least scrape some of the paint off your own face.

The fashion industry has fallen into ridiculous outfits. And created by effeminate men. I've wondered at times if they are making women look hideous out of hatred.

Ummm...I just had to point out the irony in you criticizing someone's character when the original post, which seemed to be made to call negative attention to someone's appearance, was by you.

I'm just sayin'.
Yes, but Melania's shoes were nice and she was just minding her own business.. This is the woman who publicly mocked her for it. She's getting exactly what she deserves.

....The other was I thought you had the compassion of the Lord for her. That was not mean't to be a criticism. If I had thought it was negative, I would not of mentioned it at all.

I was going to say that perhaps you may have a gift for deliverance.

You sure misinterpreted my comment...and you too Miss MM....

Nor was I mocking her at my OP. I was questioning why Vogue would have this writer for fashion.
Okay. I'm sorry I misinterpreted your intention with the OP and your later comment. Thanks for clarifying though. :)

hmm..that is telling about your character. I would think there is more than just her in that body. Get my drift?

That has to be the most uncomfortable life anyone can have.
She doesn't look like she notices anything off in herself...she actually looks as if she is very comfortable with herself...

I feel bad for her too.
But, again...she doesn't look like she feels bad about herself at all.

Actually your OP mocking her, which you created to belittle the poor woman, and then the feeble attempt to attack me after misunderstanding and misrepresenting me is what is telling of character. Your character.
Wow...I didn't see that at all in stonesoffire. I actually thought she was saying that you have a good soul to feel bad for her...

How could it be any other way?

Mr. Preacher. One thing, my internet went off and I had to restart. The other was I thought you had the compassion of the Lord for her. That was not mean't to be a criticism. If I had thought it was negative, I would not of mentioned it at all.

Am really surprised at this because I have great respect for your theology since the not by works thread.

Nor was I mocking her at my OP. I was questioning why Vogue would have this writer for fashion.
Yep. That is exactly what I thought you meant by your post to preacher. that he had a kind compassionate soul for the woman...

Nobody knows though when she takes the makeup off.

It could be just her way to be noticed. People do odd things for attention. Or just being noticed that they are alive.

Im sorry to say it, but I feel bad for Vogue to have this woman as their spokesperson.

And I feel bad to say that about this woman...but...I'm sorry.

Why Vogue indeed!

At that age, why would she wear makeup like that?'
It's silly...

But I do understand that in that industry, there is a need to stand out from the rest.

So...well...she did.

She sure stood out from the rest...

I suppose I feel about as bad as she did while saying what she did about Ms Trump.
