You will not have the freedom much longer to say you disagree with homosexuality, and other gender identities.
That freedom has already slipped away......I.E. Lawsuits when people will not bake cakes for gay weddings, the right to stand on a corner and hammer Christianity with no problem, but hammer homosexuality and called a bigot and racist and arrested for hate speech etc.......

THis is exactly right. Spot on.

I have a question here, and perhaps someone maybe able to shed some more light on the subject, the christian bakers that refuse to support same sex marriage celebrations, are these Christians purposely being targeted by these activists?

Not related to bakeries, but I came across this article in Australia, about how activists targeted an IBM senior executive all because of being linked to a christian organization, search on the internet will result in many articles.

Hello Kayla, I am not getting your meaning here, could you please explain what you are referring to when you say, "It's already happened in Canada"?

I don't know for certain, but I have a deep gut instinct feeling that with what we are seeing today, I think this is the tip of the iceberg. Target those who don't support the new age order, those with the ability to think clearly will represent a big threat to the new age and will have to be dealt with.

Today we have philosophies of teachings that seem to have the logic that a square shaped plug can fit inside a triangle shape hole.

It is like this nonsense is around us 24x7, and the entertainment industry is getting worse on this.

Actually, I too would like some further clarification on this too.

I wanted to further add something that I forgot to mention before, and this is in regards to Australia. Australia at the moment does recognizes same sex relationships, in certain situations. So I suppose one can look at it in the following context, that those in same sex relations could be considered as unofficially married.

So either way, when one looks at it, it all comes down, with this vote anyways, is Australia going to recognize same sex marriages officially or not?

Pastors are not allowed to speak against homosexuality from the pulpit where I was from in eastern Canada. Or so I was told by pastor friends back home...

From the link shared about the Jesuit priest. My response is in red.

  • Re #Nashville Statement: I affirm: That God loves all LGBT people. I deny: That Jesus wants us to insult, judge or further marginalize them
  • I agree God does love all LGBT people. I agree He does not want us to insult them. But as far as judgment that has nothing to do with me. God has judged homosexuality as sin,it has nothing to do with my judgment.

  • I affirm: That all of us are in need of conversion. I deny: That LGBT people should be in any way singled out as the chief or only sinners.
  • I agree we are all in need of a Savior and I do not think gays should be singled out as the only sinners.

  • I affirm: That when Jesus encountered people on the margins he led with welcome not condemnation. I deny: That Jesus wants any more judging.
I agree Jesus was a friend of sinners, but He did not leave them there. He said "go thy way and sin no more" Jesus is the perfect and righteous judge and the Bible says homosexuality is sin, thats not my judgment thats the Word.

  • I affirm: That LGBT people are, by virtue of baptism, full members of the church. I deny: That God wants them to feel that they don’t belong
  • Baptism saves no one and being a member of a church doesn't save you. While I want gays to feel welcome, they will hear that the lifestyle they are living is sin. If that is unwelcoming the message cannot be changed to make anyone feel welcome.

  • I affirm: That LGBT people have been made to feel like dirt by many churches. I deny: That Jesus wants us to add to their immense suffering.
Ive never seen any church Ive been in make gays feel like dirt. But their suffering is from their own choice of a sinful lifestyle.

  • I affirm: That LGBT people are some of the holiest people I know. I deny: That Jesus wants us to judge others, when he clearly forbade it.
  • Holy people to not mock the Word of God. If calling homosexuality sin is what you call "judging" your issue is with God,not me.

  • I affirm that the Father loves LGBT people, the Son calls them and the Holy Spirit guides them. I deny nothing about God’s love for them.
  • Yes,God loves gay people but He cannot accept their sin nor our sin. That doesn't change His love for us.

This is what we call today as Political Correctness, but my further readings on this concept has made me realize this concept is a lot older than we may think. If these pastors are being told what to say, so people don't get offended, that has its roots in communism.

Then you got some pastors/church organizations that won't say anything, for the reasons being they don't want to offend certain groups, and by not offending certain groups, there will still be a steady cash flow for these organizations.

These are truly some dangerous times we live in today.

In these times we need to have a rock solid foundation of morals. If a house is built on a foundation that is not solid and crumbling, then that house is gonna collapse.

Just wanted to mention to those following this same sex marriage issue that is happening in Australia, it has reached new levels, because a doctor was featured in a tv ad that goes against the ones that support same sex marriage, there are now demands that she be deregistered. If you google Pansy Lai you will see what is happening.

Already it is going out of control.
