October is approaching and I love it. Not because of Halloween, but because I was born right in the middle of it and there's fall leaves and candy and pumpkins. :eek:

In other words, I don't really celebrate Halloween. My mom never wanted us to unless we were with our aunt that night, then she would take us. :p But most of the time, my brother and I would stay in. We would watch a scary movie, "Goosebumps" or something on the Disney Channel like, "Halloweentown."

I remember the villain from this movie...he was really scary! It got me thinking, who is the scariest villain for you? It could be from a movie or a book. I know as Christians I suppose the scariest villain would be the enemy. But I'm not really afraid of him. He's a joke! With God on our side, he...



So then, what/who do you consider to be the scariest villain? I haven't answered myself because I'm still thinking. :p

Well as a rule I don't watch scary movies, so it's a tie between Monstro the whale and Shelob. Because the idea of being eaten alive is just........eeewwwwuuhhhg.

The first Freddy Kruger (Nightmare on Elm St.). That movie is still scary to this day....and Johnny Depp was actually in it (which many people don't know or forgot) The sequels went from 'not too bad' to really sucky though..

That thing in the fridge in the original Ghostbusters, Zuul. I was a kid when that came out and i was afraid to open the fridge for two weeks.

I am not a fan of horror movies either... when I was married, my husband and I went to see The Shining. About ten or fifteen minutes into the show, I told him I was really creeped out, and he offered me an escape, saying we could leave if I wanted to go, but I felt guilty for depriving him of a movie he had paid for, and that he wanted to see, so I said, no, it's okay, we can stay. Then about ten minutes later I again turned to him and told him the movie was really freaking me out, and I wanted to leave now, but he said it was too late haha, so we sat through the movie, and I would definitely have to say that Jack Nicholson was a very scary villain in that movie. When the movie ended, people sat in stunned silence while I cried out, Yay! He's dead. I was the only one clapping.

I tried watching it again a few years ago, but could only get so far (which means not very far at all) into the movie before I could watch no more. Ugh. Yeah. Jack Nicholson as Jack Torrance in The Shining, best/worst movie villain ever for me.

reminds me of something scary but weird,I watched python the bathroom scene with the python near the shower but ironically instead of thinking of a snake at my shower I was afraid to open my bathroom shower because I thought a T rex was in the shower instead,weird how movies can influence the mind lol!

the whole movie was dull,and the main villian is just more melodramatic and strange than scary.

I love The Shining. One of my favorite movies. I think it's on Netflix. I should watch it again sometime.

I was thinking about Voldemort too...the horcrux thing is just really bizarre and creepy. I agree that the movies don't show how frightening he really is.

Also, the girl from The Ring...ah!!! She really scared me as a kid. The way she walks. :(

Though the scariest Villain I've seen as far as scary movies would have to be the laughing villain in the freaky crazy movie called Amusement,had my brother watch it and I said it's scary depending on how you look at it,then after watching he said that movie was scary stuff man,because it was very scary to him,it is a well thought out and creepy movie still my all time favorite scary movie,You know date line's don't watch alone Amusement is way scarier,if you don't want the heebee jeebees with a psycho's laughter in your head then don't watch it,though ironically to me his laughter is catchy hahaha hahaha hahaha hahaha!

I thought she was really creepy too until I saw this scene from "Scary Movie 3".. they remade that girl from the tv scene and its so funny lol
