I would offer no such thing as a sign gift. Requiring a sign before the person believes they have the Holy Spirit speaks of those who rebel.Natural man walks by sight . Prophecy the word of God for those who have received the Holy Spirit baptism (not seen)

1Co 14:22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but "prophesying" serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

I am in the hopes, Mr. sparkman, that the Spirit of GOD, that raised Jesus Christ of Nazareth from the dead, find it "pleasing TO HIM", to place upon you, either, 1 of HIS Angels, to relay HIS message to you, or, have you "experience" an "visitation" directly FROM HIM!! As GOD does do that which pleases HIM? Perhaps, HE knows, the revealing Himself TO you, in such a manner, would tip your scale over, and HE would lose you to the darkness of the empirical beast!

Unless, or until He does? May you keep providing your "data", as you call it, to open forums such as this!

God has spoken to me audibly a couple of times.
One time I was just wondering aloud and I heard in my right ear, "Yes my son?".
So I asked a couple of questions and the voice answered in an authoritative manner.
At the end of the dialog, I said, "Yes dear, I love you too.", then hung up and pulled the Bluetooth out of my ear.

Audible merely implies able to heard, as visible merely implies able to be seen[/FONT][FONT=&quot], yet neither the ear can hear nor the eye see, they are merely sensory organs which provide the conscious mind with the ability to perceive and reason it physical existence.

Sound and sight are produced electromagnetically, which is why you can see and hear what I am saying since you are a body of invisible light, or what was called Phasma which is another way of saying a talking spirit.

So to answer your question regarding hearing the audible voice of the eternal God, I haven't and while I have my opinion whether anyone has other than the Son has, but if you asked about hearing the audible voice of the LORD, then I can honesty answer that I hope it was Him cause if it wasn't that would mean that I was mentally ill wouldn't it? Or could it possible mean that I merely had a defective hearing organ which spontaneously produces neurons without good vibrations.

They are going to speak what, a language someone can understand so that they can believe God called prophecy?

Prophecy is the word of God. Prophets prophecy by declaring it as it is written .No new prophecy for over two thousand years.

Prophecy is the sign that spoke against the oral tradition of men called a law of the fathers. Their oral tradition made prophecy to no effect.

Roman 3 informs us what if they did not believe by exercising as of work faith that alone comes from hearing God . Will their unbelief (not doubt) make the faith of God as the work of of God (work of faith) without effect. There is no separation between faith, the planning, and the work the execution of the faith of God.. it’s all one thing.

1Co 14:21 In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the LORD.

Christ speaks prophecy, His living abiding word to other people other than the apostate Jew . Yet the prophecy will have no effect they will not believe God not seen, but believe men seen. The result of the fall walking by sight.

It is no different than any time he spoke from heaven giving his understanding in other languages.

It the way the gospel went out while God was still adding to his word .All new prophecy has ceased .What we had in part up until the last person he revealed his thoughts to (John ) today we have the whole or perfect with no law missing by which we could know Him more adequately.

It’s how two different languages could be understood according to the one interpreter called; God. He who made the ear and mouth knows all the languages of the world.

I wonder if when Philip was moved to help the Ethiopian if the gift of tongues was not used to help them understand each other? Or when the Holy Spirit moved the Italian to help Peter understand the spiritual meaning of the parable? I would think there would be a language barrier. Paul was moved to write in in Hebrew. It could have been heard in two languages as God communicated with both..

What dialect did Cornelius speak as his native tongue? Did he receive the prophecy in Hebrew?

Act 10:3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.

I would think in order to hear the gospel in order to believe God (not each other) they would both have to be on the same page or simply hear babble? I would trust if God can confuses a language in regard to all people and create new languages .

Then giving understanding of the different langue would be a walk in the park for him .

1Co 14:11 Therefore if I "know not the meaning of the voice", I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me. His gifts of interpretation tonguesare two fold .

let's look at ALL the scriptures and not just the ones we think uphold what we were taught or choose to believe for whatever reason

"Entertaining Angels Unawares"...there's Holy Angels...There's angels ministering, sometimes directly to you? There's ALL kinds of angels! Some bringing "messages" to you?....There's also angels that don't have your best interest in mind! How do ya tell, unless you test them? Are you afraid of having the "Crazy" label attached to ya there, Mr. sparkman? Perhaps then, young man, you are not ASKING the correct questions, eh? I can't suggest to you on which questions to ask. Because we all are ALL different, so, the questions I might ask, wouldn't do you much good! Or, are you simply apathetic enough, to rest on your laurels, in your supposed secure high tower/s, and question everyone ELSES sanity? I can give you an helpful start however! SOMETIMES? It's a much wiser thing to allow God? To BE God! Tis a very humbling "adventure", to be sure! You should try it! Just REpeat out loud, or internally think. "I AM weak!....YOU, are strong GOD!" Over and over and over! You might, in the end, take to God, like a duck takes to water. Then?...wait, for the feedback when people to whom you hold dearly, start questioning your sanity! Who knows? Perhaps God will start to heal your land!

I have never heard God speak to me audibly. I have heard him speak other ways. God has spoken to me through a couple of dreams and a prophetic word/word of knowledge and encouragement from another person. There was a particular picture in my mind of taking Jesus hand and traveling somewhere. I call that journeys with Jesus. One was where, in my mind I took the hand of Jesus and I saw a rock and we came to a body of water and a waterfall. I was told to go under the waterfall and I did, pretty sure Jesus went with me. The water fell on me as like a large shower but I was not pulled under, just standing there. And the thoughts entered my mind: "I have cleansed you from all your sins. You are pure in my eyes."
