We will all face Sin, Trials, and Tribulations, what does Scripture say and what can we do in faith, thought and deed, as having already accepted Yahshua/Jesus, that we may endure and walk properly as having overcome the world in Yah?

Romans 12:3-5, "For by the unmerited mercy given to me, I say to everyone who is among you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought; but rather, think soberly, in accordance as YHWH has dealt to each one the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members do not have the same function, So we, being many, are one body in Messiah: and each one members, one belonging to another."

Some verses for a foundation of the topic;

1 John 3:4, "Whoever commits sin, transgresses also the Law; for sin is the transgression of the Law."

Romans 5:13, "For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law."

Romans 4:15, "Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression."

1 John 1:8-10, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Law is not in us."

1 John 2:1-2, "My little children, I write these things to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father: Yahshua Messiah, the Righteous; and He is the sacrifice of atonement for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."

1 John 3:7, "Little children, let no man deceive you; he who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous."

1 John 5:17, "All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not unto death."

Proverbs 4:14, “Do not enter the path of the wrong, and do not walk in the way of evil-doers.” James 4:4-5, “Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with the Mighty One? Whoever therefore intends to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of Yah. Or do you think that the Scripture speaks to no purpose? Does the Spirit which dwells in us intensely crave unto envy?" Mat 26:41, “Watch and pray, lest you enter into trial. The spirit indeed is eager, but the flesh is weak.”

Psalm 32:5, “I acknowledged my sin to You, And my crookedness I did not hide. I have said, “I confess my transgressions to יהוה,” And You forgave the crookedness of my sin. Selah.”

Ecclesiastes 7:20, “For there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and does not sin.”

Hebrews 4:1-15, "Seeing then that we have a great High Priest Who has ascended into the heavens: Yahshua the Son of YHWH, let us hold fast our profession. For we do not have a High Priest Who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all ways tempted as we are--yet was without sin."

Isaiah 53:5, “But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our crookednesses. The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.”

Hebrews 12:3-17, “For consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and faint in your lives."4, You have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin."5, And you have forgotten the appeal which speaks to you as to sons, “My son, do not despise the discipline of יהוה, nor faint when you are reproved by Him,"6, for whom יהוה loves, He disciplines, and flogs every son whom He receives.” (Pro 3:11-12) "7, If you endure discipline, Yah is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom a father does not discipline?"8, But if you are without discipline, of which all have become sharers, then you are illegitimate and not sons."9, Moreover, we indeed had fathers of our flesh disciplining us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?"10, For they indeed disciplined us for a few days as seemed best to them, but He does it for our profit, so that we might share His apartness."11, And indeed, no discipline seems pleasant at the time, but grievous, but afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it."12, So, strengthen the hands which hang down and the weak knees, Isa 35:3."13, and make straight paths for your feet, lest the lame be turned aside, but instead, to be healed."14, Pursue peace with all, and pursue apartness without which no one shall see the Master."15, See to it that no one falls short of the favor of Yah, that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, by which many become defiled,"16, lest there be anyone who whores, or profane one, like Ěsaw, who for a single meal sold his birthright. 17, For you know that afterward, when he wished to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it with tears."

Genesis 4:6-7 “YHWH said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why has the expression of your face fallen? If you do well, will it not be lifted up? If you don’t do well, sin crouches at the door. Its desire is for you, but you are to rule over it."

the whole new covenant deal is to be ABLE to walk in holiness. The OT law revealed man's inability to walk blameless,or obey the law.

Jesus said "tarry in Jerusalem until you are endued with power". The Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The NT was written to Believers baptized in the Holy Spirit.

That dynamic is not just back burnered,it is resisted vehemently.

So,the church walks in powerless doctrine unable to resist /overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil.

We know some people and situations are not good for us and thus should be avoided and we have been told.

Proverbs 4:14, “Do not enter the path of the wrong, and do not walk in the way of evil-doers.”
Proverbs 18:24, "A man of too many friends comes to ruin, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother."

Proverbs 12:26, "The righteous is a guide to his neighbor, But the way of the wicked leads them astray."

The Spirit of Yah makes followers of Messiah follow Yah's Instructions, and have a heart that takes joy in the clean lifestyle, while not perfect nor justified by a clean and righteous life pattern after Yahshua's own example, who was also obedient to the Law. Not justification or holier than thou, just humble and led by His Spirit

Ezekiel 36:26-28, "A new heart, will I also give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the heart of stone out of your flesh, and will give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments, and do them. And you will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you will be My people, and I will be your Father."

Mat 22:37-40, "Yahshua said to him: You must love YHWH your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. (Deut 6:5) This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Lev 19:18) On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

Ezekiel 11:19-21, “And I shall give them one heart, and put a new spirit within you. And I shall take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, so that they walk in My laws, and guard My right-rulings, and shall do them. And they shall be My people and I shall be their Strength. But to those whose hearts walk after the heart of their disgusting matters and their abominations, I shall recompense their deeds on their own heads,” declares the Master יהוה.”

Jeremiah 31:33, "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israyl: After those days, says YHWH: I will put My Law (Torah/Instructions) in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts, and I will be their Strength, and they will be My people."

Hebrews 10:16, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says YHWH: I will put My Law into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them.”

Romans 8:5-8, "For those who live according to the flesh, set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit, set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against; (bitterly opposed to), YHWH; for it his not subject to the Law of YHWH, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are of the flesh cannot please YHWH."

I want to point out that the words that are in italics* are ADDED, thus changing the meaning of the passage:

Ephesians 2:15-16, (NKJV), "having abolished in His flesh the enmity, *that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. "

Not only does the next verse tell us what was abolished, but when you remove the ADDED words the meaning changes.

Ephesians 2:15-16, "Abolishing the enmity Law, the Commandments, and the Ordinances, through His own flesh, in order to create in Himself one new man from the two; making peace, That would reconcile both in one body to YHWH through the sacrifice--having killed the enmity through Himself."

Strong's Concordance, “enmity” is word #G2189 echthra: enmity, hostility, Original Word: ἔχθρα, ας, ἡ, Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine, Transliteration: echthra, Phonetic Spelling: (ekh'-thrah), Short Definition: enmity, hostility, Definition: enmity, hostility, alienation.

Thayer's (New Testament Greek-English Lexicon) Feminine of G2190; hostility; by implication a reason for opposition:—enmity, hatred.

The opposition to YHWH's Law abolished, not the Law it's self.
So if we were to remove the added words in italics , we would have;

Also it is worth noting, how could the Messiah have abolished the Law when He Himself said;

Matt 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1-2, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away..."

James 4:4-5, “Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with the Mighty One? Whoever therefore intends to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of Yah. Or do you think that the Scripture speaks to no purpose? Does the Spirit which dwells in us intensely crave unto envy?"

2 Timothy 3:16, All Scripture is breathed out by Yah and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for setting straight, for instruction in righteousness.”

2 Timothy 3:16, All Scripture is breathed out by Yah and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for setting straight, for instruction in righteousness.”

Luke 8:21, “And He answering, said to them, “My mother and My brothers are those who are hearing the Word of Yah and doing it.”

1 Peter 1:25, “but the Word of Yah remains forever.” And this is the Word, announced as Good News to you."

Psalms 16:11, “You show me the path of life; In Your presence is joy to satisfaction; At Your right hand are pleasures forever."

Psalms 119:15, “I meditate on Your orders, And regard Your ways.”

Deuteronomy 6:5-9, “And you shall love יהוה your Strength with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might. And these Words which I am commanding you today shall be in your heart, and you shall impress them upon your children, and shall speak of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up, and shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."

Isaiah 40:6-8, The voice said, “Cry out!” and he said, “What do I cry?” “All flesh is grass, and all its loving-commitment is like the flower of the field. Grass shall wither, the flower shall fade, when the Spirit of יהוה has blown on it! Truly the people is grass! Grass shall wither, the flower shall fade, but the Word of our Strength stands forever.”

Isayah 55:8-11, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares יהוה. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain comes down, and the snow from the heavens, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, and give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so is My Word that goes forth from My mouth – it does not return to Me empty, but shall do what I please, and shall certainly accomplish what I sent it for."

Hebrews 11:3, “By belief, we understand that the ages were prepared by the word of Yah, so that what is seen was not made of what is visible."

Psalms 119:89, “Forever, O יהוה, Your word stands firm in the heavens.”

Psalms 119:130, “The opening up of Your words gives light, Giving understanding to the simple.”

1 John 2:14, “I wrote to you, fathers, because you have known Him from the beginning. I wrote to you, young men, because you are strong, and the Word of Yah stays in you, and you have overcome the wicked one."

Ephesians 6:17, “Take also the helmet of deliverance, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of Yah.”

Hebrews 4:12-13, “For the Word of Yah is living, and working, and sharper than any two-edged sword, cutting through even to the dividing of being and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all are naked and laid bare before the eyes of Him with whom is our account."

Jude 1:20-21, "But you, beloved ones, building yourselves up on your most set-apart belief, praying in the Set-apart Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of Yah, looking for the compassion of our Master יהושע Messiah unto everlasting life."

John 9:31, "“And we know that Yah does not hear sinners. But if anyone fears Yah and does His desire, He hears him.”

Deuteronomy 4:7, "“For what great nation is there which has Yah so near to it, as יהוה our Strength is to us, whenever we call on Him?"

John 15:7, "“If you stay in Me, and My Words stay in you, you shall ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you."

Romans 11:33-35, “Oh, the depth of riches, and wisdom and knowledge of Yah! How unsearchable His judgments and untraceable His ways! For who has known the mind of יהוה? Or who has become His counselor? Or who first gave to Him, and it shall be given back to him?”

Isayah 66:1-2, "This is what Yahweh says: The heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Where is The House that you will build Me? Could you build me such a resting place? Has not My hand made all these things, and so they came into being? says Yahweh. But this is the man to whom I will look: on him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who reverences My Word."

Jeremiah 18:1-12, "This is the word which came to Yeremyah from Yahweh, saying: Arise and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause you to hear My word. Then I went down to the potter's house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the potter's hand; so he made it again into another vessel, shaping it as it seemed best to the potter to make. Then the word of Yahweh came to me, saying: O house of Israyl, can I not do with you as this potter? says Yahweh: Behold, like the clay in the potter's hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israyl. At one time I will suddenly announce concerning a nation or kingdom, that it is to be utterly pulled down and destroyed; But if that nation, against whom I have warned, repents of its evil, then I will relent of the affliction I had planned to do to them. And at another time I will suddenly announce concerning a nation or kingdom, that it is to be built up and planted; But if it does evil in My sight and does not obey Me, then I will relent of the righteousness with which I said I would benefit it. Now therefore, speak to the men of Yahdah and to the inhabitants of Yerusalem, saying; This is what Yahweh says: Behold, I am preparing adversity against you, and devising a plan against you. Turn back now every one from his evil way, and reform; make your ways and your doings righteous! But they said; There is no hope for that! So we will walk according to our own devices, and we will all do the imagination of our evil hearts"

Ephesians 2:10, “For we are His workmanship, created in Messiah יהושע unto good works, which Elohim prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

Isayah 29:13-16, "Therefore Yahweh said: Because these people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their reverence to Me is taught by the precept of men; Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people; a marvelous work and a wonder; for the wisdom of their wise men will perish, and the understanding of their prudent men; discerning, will be hid. Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel; plans, from Yahweh, whose works are in the dark, and who say; Who sees us? Who knows us? Truly your turning things upside down will be esteemed as the potter's clay; for will the work say of him who made it; He did not make me? Will the thing that is formed say of him who formed it; He has no understanding?"

Isaiah 46:10, “declaring the end from the beginning, and from of old that which has not yet been done, saying, ‘My counsel does stand, and all My delight I do.”

James 4:13-15, “Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow, let us go to such and such a city, spend a year there, and trade, and make a profit, when you do not know of tomorrow. For what is your life? For it is a vapor that appears for a little, and then disappears, instead of your saying, “If the Master desires, we shall live and do this or that.”

Psalm 103:19-21, "יהוה has established His throne in the heavens, And His reign shall rule over all. Bless יהוה, you His messengers, Mighty in power, who do His Word, Listening to the voice of His Word. Bless יהוה, all you His hosts, You His servants, who do His pleasure."

Revelation 12:11, "“And they overcame him because of the Blood of the Lamb, and because of the Word of their witness, and they did not love their lives to the death."

James 1:12, "Blessed is the man who does endure trial, for when he has been proved, he shall receive the crown of life which the Master has promised to those who love Him."

1 John 5:4, “because everyone having been born of Yah overcomes the world. And this is the overcoming that has overcome the world: our belief.”

Matthew 10:22, “And you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.”

Hebrews 10:36, “For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of Yah you may receive what is promised.”

Revelation 3:5, "He who overcomes, the same will be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name from The Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His malakim."

Ephesians 6:11-17, "Put on the whole armor of YHWH, that you may be able to stand against the wiles; (crafty ways, schemes), of the devil. For we wrestle not only against flesh and blood, but also against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual forces of the evil one in the heavens. Therefore, take up the whole armor of YHWH, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day; and having overcome all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your waist belted with the truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, And having shod your feet with the preparation of the message of peace; Above all, taking the shield of the faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of YHWH."

Isayah 59:15-21, "Yes, truth is suppressed; and he who departs from evil is accounted as mad. YHWH saw this, and it displeased Him that there was no justice. But He saw no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor. Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him, and His own righteousness, it sustained Him. For He put on righteousness as a breastplate, with a helmet of salvation on His head; He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and He wrapped Himself with zeal like a tallit. According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay--fury to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies; to the islands; nations, He will repay recompense. So they will reverence the Name of YHWH from the west and His glory from the rising of the sun; when our enemies will come in like a flood, the Spirit of YHWH will lift up a standard against them; The Redeemer will depart from Zion for those of Yaaqob who repent of their sins! declares YHWH. As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says YHWH: My Spirit which is upon you, namely My Words which I have put in your mouth; they will not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your seed, nor from the mouth of your seed's seed, says YHWH: from this time and forevermore."

Colossians 3:1-10, “If, then, you were raised with Messiah, seek the matters which are above, where Messiah is, seated at the right hand of Yah. Mind the matters above, not those on the earth. For you have died, and your life has been hidden with Messiah in YHWH. When the Messiah, who is our life, is manifested, then you also shall be manifested with Him in esteem. Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: whoring, uncleanness, passion, evil desire and greed of gain, which is idolatry. Because of these the wrath of Yah is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you also once walked when you lived in them. But now, also put off all these: displeasure, wrath, evil, blasphemy, filthy talk from your mouth. Do not lie to each other, since you have put off the old manb with his practices, and have put on the new one who is renewed in knowledge according to the likeness of Him who created him.”

I always admire people who post the Bible. However, sometimes commentary is in order, and not spamming your own thread.

There is no way I can comment on all these posts and verses! Perhaps, another time, we can look at one or two verses, and discuss them?

Matthew 6:9-13, “This, then, is the way you should pray: ‘Our Father who is in the heavens, let Your Name be set-apart, let Your reign come, let Your desire be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. ‘And do not lead us into trial, but deliver us from the wicked one – because Yours is the reign and the power and the esteem, forever. Awmĕin.”

Psalm 42:5, “Why are you depressed, O my being? And why are you restless within me? Wait for Yah: for I shall yet thank Him, For the deliverance of His face!"

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in all circumstances give thanks, for this is the desire of Yah in Messiah יהושע for you."

hope you are enjoying expressing your Hebrew roots.
