The cross was ours, and the life is His. He became us, and we are conformed to Him. He is in us, and we are in Him. He is ours, and we are His. Make sense?

“For I am crucified with Christ, and yet I live- not I but Christ Who lives within me.”

”Whoever is to come after Me must take up His cross and follow Me.”

Yes, He took our place so we don’t go to hell, but we must still bear our cross in other ways.

“Must Jesus bear the cross alone, and all the world go free? No, there’s a cross for everyone, and there’s a cross for me.” (hymn)

No man was able to keep the law with his own strength,so then all men would be counted as coming short of the Glory of GOD but GOD loved the world so much that HE gave HIS only begotten SON to be an atoning sacrifice for man satisfying the demand of the law.The price was paid with blood.

Those that believe In the WORD of GOD will seek to purify themselves even as they are pure and are In the process of renewing their mind to be transformed to be like JESUS.

JESUS Is the vine and those reborn are the branches and the branches receive sustenance from the vine and display spiritual fruit.

Christ Jesus died on the cross for our sins according to the scripture; and He rose again the third day according to the scripture: it is better for us to learn not to think above that which is written, than to think and speak beyond that which is written, wherein only exaggeration and over-estimation is.

The soldiers brought Jesus out from the Praetorium.
The soldiers grabbed Simon and he carried the cross through the city streets Behind Jesus.
Jesus Paused spoke to the crowd and upon reaching the walls of the city, Simon was exhausted.
Jesus turned to Simon and said lay your burden down and I will carry the burden upon the mount.

Vicarious atonement just like the lamb in the OT Jesus is the Lamb in the NT.

For the cause of Christ
