For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - John 3:16
Yes, God sent His Son for the whole world, but that doesn't mean the whole world will be saved. God wants us all to be saved, He is not willing that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9) but He also gives us the choice. He gives everybody who wants to accept it Salvation from damnation free of charge, because we could never earn or deserve it. However, He will not force Salvation on us, we must choose to accept His gift and His offer of eternal life.
You say God sent His Son for the whole world, is that biblical because I've never seen that in the bible. I believed that also, until I was challenged to read what the scriptures are truly saying.
Matthew 1:21 KJV - 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Luke 1:68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
Matthew 15:24 KJV - 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Luke 1:69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
John 18:20 KJV - 20 Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.
Acts 5:31 KJV - 31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
Revelation 7:4 KJV - 4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Revelation 21:12 KJV - 12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
He only came for His people Israel
Matt 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
Matt 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
These scriptures are the word of God. As TMH says
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works
Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
If you read the bible for yourself and forget about what your preachers are brainwashing you to believe, your eyes will be opened. Remember Jesus told Peter to stay awake, we have fallen asleep and allowed these preachers to guide us into condemnation.
Matt 26:40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?
Matt 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
I can tell your preacher have never showed you these scriptures without his spin on them.
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
