Friend is Suicidal.

I would like it very much if you could all pray for my freind, Laura. She's depressed because she feels abandoned by everyone she loves...even God.

She says she doesn't even know if she cates about God anymore.

Thing is, I hve a hope for her. She was ready to kill herself once before and God stopped her. She felt him physically touch her and tell her not to do it because He loves her. I reminded her tht He is the same God and cartes about her all the same.

So, I pray that He will show himself to her again and show how much she is worth--His son's life. That she is a beautiful treasure.

She truly has no self-esteem and this is part of the problem. She can't see why anyone would love her.

But I do and God does. I pray that she would realize she's not alone.
 
I am already praying for Laura, and will continue to.

Lyndies, I'm praying for Laura too...I came within miliseconds one time because I thought life wasn't worth living. Instead, I cried out to A Merciful Wondrous Loving God. He heard and saved me. There is much that would not have happened if I had taken my life that day...I just know He is fully capable of saving her too and I am expecting a miracle in her life!!! In The Mighty Name of Jesus, Father I come to You asking that Laura Live and not die...Lord, I pray A Hope In You where there is no hope. I pray Your Mighty Hedge of Protection around Laura this day and every day. I pray a sound mind for her, Lord. Take a heart of stone and soften it...Fill it with Your Love...Lead and Guide her into You, The Way, The Truth and The Life...In The Mighty Name of Jesus, I pray...will continue also praying in The Spirit...

Keep praying for her. In life with our friends there are those "teachable moments" that occur all the time. Capitalize on every opportunity to remind her of her own innate value in the community and world.

Thank you for caring so much. :] It means a lot.

I just spoke to Laura and she said she's doing better with the suicide stuff (Thank you, God!), but she told me that her mom just beat her up (her mom is very depressed also and laura said she snapped), so I'm afraid that it will set her back once it sinks in. Because her self-worth is already so low.

I hope for the best for your friend in the days to come. I pray that she will remember that God loves all His children unconditionally and that the thought will cement itself within her. :)
 
Hi, I pray that your freind gets stronger and starts to beleive in herself more. I have had my down time and I know God is there. I think everyone that you may talk to on here has had some kind of problem like your friends. I suffer with a mental illness(schizophrenia) but I know gods been by my side all along. Its amazing how strong we can be. Also sometimes a simple blood test can help, I have under active thyroid and that can affect a persons mood. Laughter is the best medicine of all, when you learn to laugh at things it help not only you but others also! Hope this helps. xx

I understand so well, after being beaten by my father I always sunk very low,even though he left us I still battled depression for years.
Some was due to repressed anger, some was simply wondering why I was not valuable enough to be loved, alot about losing hope.
Let your friend know that she is on my heart, that I will keep praying for her.
Also tell her to keep looking to in Jesus, God Our Father, he will give her the real love she seeks and healing.
I will keep laura in my daily prayers for as long as she needs and beyond this.
A woman dedicated time every day praying for me as I grew up, I never met her but just knowing she cared brought me comfort.
I hope and want to pass on her gift in Jesus to Laura.

Dad-I pray right now in the name of your greater son Jesus that you touch this life again and show the way for peace and happiness-even now ,right now in the name of Jesus heal her-I command satan back to hell and rebuke the spririt of deception! AMEN I also came very close to doin the same thhing-and felt god touch me too-He is there right now above and around her healing her as we pray..
 
ive been really sad and suicidal latley. i prayed to god not to let me kill myself. i increased my antidepressant today. somtimes you have to take pills when your sick. i will not give in and i have hope god will answer my prayer. bless you all
 
Lyndies, this is what I would do. Try talking to her and keep pushing it in her head that people do love her. The more you try, it might work. I know what she is going through. I've been there and done that. Just keep working with her and I'm sure that she won't do anything to harm herself. I will pray for your friend. God will bring her out of those troubles
