Shhhhh, careful, people don't like being logical especially when scripture doesn't agree with them. Now they'll falsely accuse you of being a legalist or a Judaizer, for obeying the commandments of God. They'll falsely claim you are trying to earn the love of God and your salvation through obedience, when in reality you are obedient because of your salvation and because you love God. They'll call you a Pharisee without any understanding of what a Pharisee is. They'll put words in your mouth and twist scripture to distort the truth all because the truth has made them uncomfortable in their sin; their sin being revealed by the law of God. Amen, Brother!!
AMEN.....this just proves you have not made the cut yet either.........

Romans 1- Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle , set apart for the Gospel of God, which he promised beforehand through the profits , in the Holy Scriptures , concerning His Son, who was descended from David...........

through the profits , in the Holy Scripture. not the Gospel of God IS the O.T. the Gospel came though the profits in it.

study harder study man, some of us actually know the Bible, and are not going to allow this deception to go on unchecked.

we take the mis-use of God's written Word seriously.
Rom. 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Habakkuk 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Habakkuk is part of the Gospel of Christ as Paul states. It is in the Old Testament where the Righteousness of God is revealed from Faith to Faith (Faith of Abel, Noah and Abraham to Habakkuk, Isaiah and Malachi) as it is written.

Rom.1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

All found in the Gospel of Christ, the Old Testament.

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

God's Righteousness, God's Wrath, all shown to us in the Gospel of Christ that Paul isn't ashamed of.

You might actually read the post and the whole chapter instead of one or two sentences before accusing someone of being a deceiver.

I know my statement goes against Mainstream Christian Doctrines and traditions, but it does not go against what the Bible preaches.

The kingdom sounds amazing right!

Revelation 21:3-4, "And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of YHWH is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and YHWH Himself will be with them, and be their Father. And YHWH will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, nor will there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Revelation 21:9-27, "And one of the seven messengers who held the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and spoke with me, saying, “Come, I shall show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the set-apart Yerushalayim, descending out of the heaven from Elohim, having the esteem of Elohim, and her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal, and having a great and high wall, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve messengers, and names written on them, which are those of the twelve tribes of the children of Yisra’ĕl: three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve emissaries of the Lamb. And he who spoke with me had a golden measuring rod, to measure the city, and its gates, and its wall. And the city lies four-cornered, and its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the rod: twelve thousand stadiad – the length, and the breadth, and height of it are equal. ( Approx. 2216 kilometres or 1377 miles) And he measured its wall: hundred and forty-four forearms,e according to the measure of a man, that is, of a messenger. (Approx. 66 metres or 216 feet) And the structure of its wall was jasper. And the city was clean gold, like clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls – each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was clean gold, like transparent glass. And I saw no Dwelling Place in it, for יהוה Ěl Shaddai is its Dwelling Place, and the Lamb. And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine in it, for the esteem of Elohim lightened it, and the Lamb is its lamp. And the nations, of those who are saved, shall walk in its light, and the sovereigns of the earth bring their esteem into it. And its gates shall not be shut at all by day, for night shall not be there. And they shall bring the esteem and the appreciation of the nations into it. And there shall by no means enter into it whatever is unclean, neither anyone doing abomination and falsehood, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Revelation 21:23, “And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine in it, for the esteem of Yah lightened it, and the Lamb is its lamp.”

and the Lamb says;

Revelation 22:12-15, "And behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work will be. I am the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who keep His Laws, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and worshipers of gods and everyone who professes to love, yet practices falsehood."

Sure it does and it will be filled with sinners saved by grace through faith.......some faithful and some not so faithful.....some with works of gold, silver and precious stones, some with works of wood, hay and stubble.....some with an abundance entrance and some like the Corinthian fornicator shamed and yet so by fire..........

It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.....

I believe my Lord and will by the power of GOD continue to believe.. GOD saves us through our Faith...no one comes to Father without believing in the Son..absolutely. Some of us believe that we are to Love and obey and others have their belief.. only GOD can set us apart.

Let me be the one at His feet weeping with Everlasting love and joy that He saved me who is the least of all... and if I be the last one through that gate then praise GOD forever who guided me Home.

I understand how difficult it is to be corrected, most men are just too prideful to allow God's Word to humble them.

But to say that Paul isn't saying that the righteousness of God is revealed to us from "Within" the Gospel of Christ is to completely ignore this and many other scriptures of the Bible.

But I understand if you can't accept this Biblical truth, church tradition is a powerful thing.

Again true to form there Mr. Cotton Tail..........a key word describes your verbiage....is it diatribe or bloviating Peter? Because there is no substance for sure.....
dc - I do not expect anything else from you, so thank you for not disappointing.

The point about discussions is you need to be able to answer questions from all
perspectives. It is how we know the difference between truth and speculation.

So many arguments look great from one perspective, but when put into another
perspective fall apart. Your weakness is this particular reality. So until you can
answer the questions I raise, your faith has no foundation.

My empathy for you as a believer leads me to sympathise with your propositions,
but when you come to talking about how the cross empowers us to walk righteously,
you fail to deliver.

After seeing how idealism in Christ often leads to deep hurt and disappointment I can
see the dilemma many experience. It is because emotions and need defines our lives
and experiences, as much as we aspire to religious ideas or hopes. Our walk is often
learning how Christ helps us to victory and transformation. As a 50 year old you should
by now have recognised we reap what we sow, and anything is possible with the right
focus and teacher. Our teacher is God and our focus is His word.

So I call you like I call myself to follow after our master and Lord.

The execution stake is but a piece of wood that the Savior Sacrificed upon, it is the blood that is the cure.

Revelation 12:11, “And they overcame him because of the Blood of the Lamb, and because of the Word of their witness, and they did not love their lives to the death."

How would you describe one who always pushes adherence to the LAW using a verse that does not say that to set the stage for pushing AHERANCE to the LAW........???????

SO......if not for his record of the above....I would humbly apologize in a New York second and take it back....but this is the modus operandi of MOST if not ALL that push a working for, law abiding dogma......
That would certainly be one who has been Deceived into believing a False Gospel. That is most likely because he or she has a LACK of Total Trust that CHRIST SUFFICIENT, and that the Holy Spirit will empower us to hear with understanding, and do what we cannot.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY, not to self be the Glory.
