2 Timothy 3:15,17 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
New International Version 1984 Hebrews 4:12-13 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
Would you call a born again in the spirit a sinner?
No, as they are not sinners.

New International Version 1984 Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
New International Version 1984 John 3:6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
New International Version 1984 1 John 3:4-10 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother.

Romans 3:10 (YLT)
[SUP]10 [/SUP] according as it hath been written--`There is none righteous, not even one;
True for the time it was originally written.
Paul is using this OT scripture to show Jews that they need a Savior as much as the Gentiles do.
Which begs the question...savior from what?
The Jews wanted a savior from Roman dominion, but Jesus showed up to free them from a much more dangerous adversary.
Sin.
Thank God for His victory, and for allowing us to rejoice therein.

JUST SO YOU KNOW, the phrase LOVE YOUR ENEMIES, Does NOT MEAN you refuse to shoot to kill an enemy COMBATANT. It means you treat him humanely if and when he surrenders and you take him prisoner.

Numbers 31:1-7 (HCSB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] The LORD spoke to Moses,
[SUP]2 [/SUP] “Execute vengeance for the Israelites against the Midianites. After that, you will be gathered to your people.”
[SUP]3 [/SUP] So Moses spoke to the people, “Equip some of your men for war. They will go against Midian to inflict the LORD’s vengeance on them.
[SUP]4 [/SUP] Send 1,000 men to war from each Israelite tribe.”
[SUP]5 [/SUP] So 1,000 were recruited from each Israelite tribe out of the thousands in Israel—12,000 equipped for war.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] Moses sent 1,000 from each tribe to war. They went with Phinehas son of Eleazar the priest, in whose care were the holy objects and signal trumpets.
[SUP]7 [/SUP] They waged war against Midian, as the LORD had commanded Moses, and killed every male.

NOTICE THE LORD GOD HIMSELF STARTED THE SELECTIVE SERVICE DRAFT FOR MILITARY SERVICE TO THE COUNTRY.

2 Samuel 6:1-2 (CSBBible)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] David again assembled all the fit young men in Israel: thirty thousand.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] He and all his troops set out to bring the ark of God from Baale-judah. The ark bears the Name, the name of the LORD of Armies who is enthroned between the cherubim.

Isaiah 2:12 (CSBBible)
[SUP]12[/SUP] For a day belonging to the LORD of Armies is coming against all that is proud and lofty,
against all that is lifted up—it will be humbled—

Isaiah 5:16 (CSBBible)
[SUP]16[/SUP] But the LORD of Armies is exalted by his justice, and the holy God shows that he is holy through his righteousness.

Isaiah 9:19 (CSBBible)
[SUP]19 [/SUP]The land is scorched by the wrath of the LORD of Armies,
and the people are like fuel for the fire. No one has compassion

ALL MILITARY PERSONNEL AND POLICE SERVE AS AN ARM OF GOVERNMENT, AND AS SUCH ARE AUTHORIZED BY GOD TO CARRY ARMS AND USE THOSE ARMS WITH DEADLY FORCE WHEN THE SITUATION CALLS FOR IT.

Romans 13:1-7 (CSBBible)
[SUP]1[/SUP] Let everyone submit to the governing authorities, since there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are instituted by God.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God's command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have its approval.
[SUP]4 [/SUP] For it is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, because it does not carry the sword for no reason. For it is God's servant, an avenger that brings wrath on the one who does wrong.
[SUP]5 [/SUP] Therefore, you must submit, not only because of wrath but also because of your conscience.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] And for this reason you pay taxes, since the authorities are God's servants, continually attending to these tasks.
[SUP]7 [/SUP] Pay your obligations to everyone: taxes to those you owe taxes, tolls to those you owe tolls, respect to those you owe respect, and honor to those you owe honor.

Luke 22:36 (CSBBible)

Self Defense Weapons were authorized and commanded by CHRIST.

SWORD for Self Defense in the time of JESUS:

Yes that really was the most common Self Defense weapon at the TIME OF CHRIST.
It certainly was NOT a kitchen chef's knife, while in this Modern day, Self Defense Weapons
are usually a firearm, most commonly a pistol.

YES, I support the 2nd Amendment and the NRA. AND YES, I truly believe because of
that verse above, the LORD expects the man of the house to be prepared for Self Defense.
Are home invasion armed robberies that common place. YES, and they are getting more
common every day. Last Sunday as I was going to Church, 5 blocks from my house, I saw
a yard with the entire property was taped off with that yellow crime scene tape. I looked
and the Garage door was RIPPED OUT. Apparently to gain quick entrance, they backed up
to the garage door, hooked a tow chain to the top of the garage door, while probably two
others waited nearby to DASH in before the residents could respond. The driver yanked the
door almost off, and in they went. How long would it take you to respond to such a Home
Invasion at night. My Self Defense weapon is within arm's reach of my head, while I sleep.

If anyone is thinking about buying a Self Defense weapon, I consider it a MUST to sign up
for a NRA SAFETY COURSE at a local gun range. For those with small children, they make
a safety handgun safe now, that will open only with your finger prints, after programing it.

Help them against their enemies.”

Zechariah 14:2-3 (GWT)
[SUP]2 [/SUP] I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem for battle. The city will be captured, the houses looted, and the women raped. Half of the people in the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people won't be taken from the city.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations as he does when he fights a battle.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NLT)

Judges 14:19 (CSBBible)
[SUP]19 [/SUP]The Spirit of the LORD came powerfully on him, and he went down to Ashkelon and killed thirty of their men. He stripped them and gave their clothes to those who had explained the riddle. In a rage, Samson returned to his father's house,

Judges 15:14-15 (HCSB)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came to meet him shouting. The Spirit of the LORD took control of him, and the ropes that were on his arms became like burnt flax and his bonds fell off his wrists.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] He found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, reached out his hand, took it, and killed 1,000 men with it.

Zechariah 14:2-3 (GWT)

Matthew 22:17-21 (ESV)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] Tell us, then, what you think. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”
[SUP]18 [/SUP] But Jesus, aware of their malice, said, “Why put me to the test, you hypocrites?
[SUP]19 [/SUP] Show me the coin for the tax.” And they brought him a denarius.
[SUP]20 [/SUP] And Jesus said to them, “Whose likeness and inscription is this?”
[SUP]21 [/SUP] They said, “Caesar’s.” Then he said to them, “Therefore render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

THIS IS WHEN THEY DISOBEYED CHRIST IN MY GENERATION OF THE LATE 60's
ALL IN THE NAME OF SO-CALLED LOVE:

Romans 13

[FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot]7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.[/FONT]

Now... you can propose as your heart desires but if you think loving your enemy is accomplished by killing them.. then you will answer to Christ. If you think that living by the sword is our duty.. then be prepared to die by the sword as it is written.

A man man should have the choice to go to war.. disobeyed Christ? That is a matter of opinion.

And as for your beliefs.. I fear they will lead you into a snare.. but hopefully not.

Before you pull that trigger .. ask yourself where is your mercy and forgiveness.. and for what cause do you fight for.

Everything is to end here on earth.. so why partake to protect a nation I know not.. but as nation will rise against nation many will be called to partake.. may no one here partake.

WHY, because a SIN NATURE still dwells in the flesh.

Repent, sinner.

VCO.. If a man states he repented and believes... and does not sin.. what is it to you to call Him a sinner? We each come before Christ to be judged of what we did while in the body.

2 Corinthians 5

6Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7(For we walk by faith, not by sight 8We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

1 Corinthians 15

50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal mustput on immortality. 54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Consider why we are given a new incorruptible seed inwardly of the flesh and blood...

Is it not a seal until the mortal puts on the immortal?

Yes a seal of ownership given when we believe.. the Holy Spirit that means we can enter into the Kingdom of GOD.

1 Peter 1

22Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
24For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
25But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

2 Philippians

12Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
14Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; 16Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. 17Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all. 18For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.

always obeyed and should continue in his absence .. to work out their own Salvation with fear and trembling?

Why is there a need to write such things to believers? The nothing you do changes what you have received mindset does not affirm to this piece..

Not to make excuses but I do understand how they have brainwashed you in to patriots.. but do not mix national pride with behaving according to governing bodies.. Anything proposed that goes against beliefs is not to be submitted to.. careful that those verses don’t come back to bite you.. by the same mentality you could be told to take a mark to enable you to buy or sell.. will you be obeying government then? I hope not.

Luke 9

51And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem, 52And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him. 53And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem. 54And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? 55But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. 56For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

Let the Lord be heard.

Its called "Vainglory" It means the man gets all the glory, where's the humility. Sinless perfectionism is a false gospel = a false christ. But what does that matter anyway right.

"But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble." James4:6

All said and done my beliefs are because the Lord said:

Matthew 5

38Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: 39But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thycloke also. 41And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. 42Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.43Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

If the man does not give all glory to GOD but exalts himself that would be vain glory... but if a man is healed and praises GOD and shares the healing for GOD’s Glory.. then who are we to judge him a sinner?

You speak nonsense because as shared prior it is Christ that teaches us to be perfect and Righteous.

If the Lord Himself said to you that you have not perfect works.. can you reply that is false? I think not.

Now believe what the Lord taught and may GOD be your strength and refuge as you walk through the valley of the shadow of death.

First believe and set your heart to obey casting all doubt.. then see the power of GOD work through you.. The Faith of Abraham.. believe.. and if there is instruction the belief will move you to do..

Faith with works perfects the Faith...

Christ’s Word mixed with Faith profits.

How close is man to being ok?

The fact that people can believe they are good and the Lord recognises people as being good,
means man is not that far away.

Now the trouble with sin is it does totally destroy the whole, like a poison that eats away at
the heart, and brings death, but the actual appearance can be ok.

Now this demolishes the concept man is completely evil and depraved.
The problem is man can do terrible things with a small change in their outlook, but it is not
because righteousness is an illusion. It is because the balance of right and wrong is quite subtle,
and care needs to be taken. So subtle is it, that if we do not dwell in the Most High, we get
corrupted and distorted.

It is why purity is not a nice to have extra, it is everything. Without a clear perspective, everything
is distorted and changed.

It is why compromising on our hearts and purity is everything. It is not just a matter of belief, it is
about holiness and purity.

Ofcourse the dilemma I face, is the impure are blind to this. To them nothing is a problem, because
everything is tainted. It is like when washing a car, if it gets dirty as you wash it, you realise washing
it is pointless. But if you can find out why it gets polluted as you wash it, then you will be able to
realise the objective.

It is why going through all ones sins, ones failures, ones disappointments and hurts matters.
Each one of these things brings echoes and issues in our lives. In truth to resist this is to scrap
the whole of discipleship and being born again, because one is compromising with the world and
letting evil dominate and mark you into the future. It is why impurity has a foot hold, and drags
one down.

We are called to be Holy, because that is our state.

This does not mean we are not tempted or our focus cannot be dragged away, but we can choose
to resist and work out strategies to keep our focus in the correct direction.

Your defense of sin is noted.
Please answer this question...Is there sin in Christ?
No?
Then how can we have sin in us if we are "in Christ'?
As scripture tells us how to "get" in Christ, I believe that those who are in Christ rejoice in the same freedom from sin that Jesus does.
Your POV neglects the miracle of repentance, and the miracle of rebirth, after our crucifixion and burial with Christ.
You have COMPLETELY dodged answering any of my questions.

I'll try one more time.

1. Have you committed ANY of the sins I listed in the last post? IE..Driving over the speed limit, anger, fear, worry, impure thoughts, etc... HAVE YOU SINNED SINCE BEING SAVED? COMMITTING ANY OFFENSE?

2. Paul accused Peter of the sin of hypocrisy. Did Paul make a false accusation (sin), or did Peter sin by being a hypocrite? Either way, are Peter and Paul in Christ even though one of them sinned?

3. Jesus tells Peter to forgive his BROTHER EVERY time he sins. If a BROTHER NEVER sins, why does Peter, or Jesus, need to forgive them?

Your pride has been noted. The question is can YOU note it?

John 13:16 (CSBBible)
[SUP]16 [/SUP] “Truly I tell you, a servant is not greater than his master, and a messenger is not greater than the one who sent him.

1 Corinthians 15:50 (CSBBible)
[SUP]50 [/SUP]What I am saying, brothers and sisters, is this: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor can corruption inherit incorruption.

WHY, because a SIN NATURE still dwells in the flesh.

Repent, sinner.
THIS is a great point. These sinless perfection heretics try to perfect themselves IN THE FLESH. As the verse notes, our flesh, which is corrupt, will NOT inherit the Kingdom.

This is why we must obey the Gospel, and trust that the Holy Spirit will work in our lives to reveal, and remove the dross in our hearts as HE purifies us.

Peter, if Father recognized man as being good, then the blood of Jesus would not of been required to be poured on the mercy seat before Him in the heavenly sanctuary.

We would not need covering. And we would not be purged within. What state would we in left in if this had not happened?

Unless you were of the tribes of Israel, you would be outside the Covenant of God, and they would still be sacrificing animals.

He also manifested that He was the Word...who was good.

In the OT, men, generally, weren't considered 'good'.
There were exceptions: Enoch and Samuel come to mind, but in the NT, we can all be good by "turning from sin", being washed by the blood of Christ, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and loving God above all else.
God made it possible for all of us NT'ers to be 'good'.
He brought the truth that could free us from service to sin.
I would ask you the same question as to PJ. Why then was there the need for Jesus to pour His blood upon the mercy seat in the heavenly sanctuary? And why would we need a sprinkling of blood on our conscience as we walk with Him in light?

Was purging a one time thing? Or continual? Think of branches and pruning before you answer.
