I think it is time we all stopped the hating on.. imagine those in need coming in and reading this thread.. we are becoming disgraceful.. GOD help us love and forgive.. myself came close today to reporting a post.. I never have reported anyone here.. I would never report for different beliefs.. but remarks like using weed killer.. is passive aggressive hate.. we really must stop the hate.

Love and Truth in a patient manner for the Glory of Heavenly Father and Our Lord and Saviour.. come on Children of the Most High Let the Light shine to the world.. here and everywhere.
For the record....I hate no one and I am the one who used the weed killer in comment concerning tares and wheat.....it was metaphorical and aimed at combatting what I believe to be false ideologies....if I offend you or any other in CC by that post

I humbly apologize openly for all to see.

I also think that loving people does not mean agreeing with people. Or taking our belief system and putting it in danger, or slandering other people.

Jesus loved the pharisees, As he did all the world. But he had no problem ripping their false doctrine to shreds.

We have to learn the difference between Love, and enabling.

Exactly.......Jesus, John the Baptist and even PAUL ripped all false doctrine while loving the people themselves....I hate no one on this site, I strongly dislike any dogma that devalues JESUS and lifts self or turns the spot light on self......

AMEN.....and it utterly sickened me as well.....slander and defamation of character just to make one look bad and one look good.....I hope he gets what the other guy got.............

I know I fire on all who disagree with me and sometimes with heated rhetoric, but I would never post false, hacked lies to make one look bad......

I do believe he has broken the rules......
Glad to see you dcontroversal as many know I've had a holy spirit day, speaking to some people that claim perfection in the holy spirit and they still don't understand, but it's no big deal for me I'll never lose my faith in God nor my salvation through Jesus,if they keep at this I'll just be motivated that much more to speak truth, but anyhow I believe I'll take a break and go to other threads,I stand firm for God but naturally everyone needs some rest in some way, mine is silly threads, sleep,or relaxing music, talk to you later.

Because Phart does not believe Jesus can keep his people from falling, as Jesus promised under any circumstance he will.

Phart also does not believe God will do everything in his power to give all his children reason to have faith. You only lose faith in people who lose your trust. Because they have wronged you, or have proven untrustworthy. The mere fact Phart believes sfaith can be lost proves Phart believed God musty be untrustworthy, or unable to continue to prove faithful to those who trusted him with the most important part of their eternity (salvation)

Phart thinks he can overpower God and stop believing, and as such, lose the salvation which God gave him freely. Thus even though he Denys it, He teaches salvation must be earned by the power of the believer remaining in faith.

Peoiplke who KNOW God and TRUST God do not stop believing, they see Gods faithfulness every day, and their faith only grows. (Yes, they will have doubts, and they will have a lack of faith in areas of their life. But they will NEVER stop trusting God because GOD IS FAITHFUL
and he compares the Sealing of the Holy Spirit to a bowl of left over lasagna that can be unsealed....

My bible states one is sealed UNTO the day of redemption......

Hmm...no I don't think I see the difference...
Not sure I can explain my mind here but..if I trust Him that I am forgiven and will live forever, but then don't trust Him that I don't have to worry about provision, this makes me a liar. I am saying I trust Him for eternal life while also not trusting Him for a comparatively smaller miracle?

When He points out this insane discrepancy or fracture to me, a struggle begins and a growth in trust results in the end.

This is how He grows my faith, by pointing my mistrust out to me and bringing me to the struggle. This is what my race of continued and growing trust has looked like, though He gives me breaks too. :)
Are you saying that each and every struggle with righteous living in daily life for you is a struggle with trusting in the forgiveness of God in salvation itself? It's not that way for me. I have complete trust in Christ for the Day of salvation, meanwhile my daily struggle is trusting him that I don't have to sin to take care of myself in this life. If what you say is true then each and every temptation to sin in this life is the struggle to continue to trust in the blood of Christ for justification. It's not that way at all for me. They are two very distinct things I believe him for.

For those doubting dc still has control of his twitter account, here is a comment
from yesterday made by him, not rude, but specifying what he has been doing

https://twitter.com/dcontroversal/status/923508750601687040

"To an outsider who has spent 7 or 8 months in Au over 8 trips,it seems your letting in the wrong people -> too hard and $$ for the right 1s" 4:16 AM - 26 Oct 2017

Now if one was concerned about pictures or exchanges from the past being hacked
it would be simple to delete them.

But no, they are still there, so I for one do not believe a word about innocense, rather
the opposite.

And for those who think this is slander, slander is something that is not true or straight
forward.

It does amaze me how naive some can be. But then preachers can commit fraud, have
affairs, lie, cheat and still go back to the ministry. Either people are very forgiving or
they would rather imagine everything is fine, because the opposite is much worse for them.
You can keep posting ALL you want PETER....I was hacked regardless of your belief or not...and to continue to post slander in an attempt to smear me....just proves to all your character and nature.....

[/B]No. I have not committed any sins since my conversion.
I was "converted" from a sinner to a non-sinner.
Thank you, but he already responded to my post with this:
Has anybody said in this thread that they will not sin anymore?
I've said it plenty of times.
And I say it for the glory of God and the name of Jesus Christ.
I personally can't relate to not sinning anymore which makes me think he's not saying he has not sinned a single sin since being born again, but maybe he does mean just that. Perhaps you've noticed my lack of participation in this part of the discussion. And that's because it doesn't interest me much. I think the far more important matter is to help the vast majority of us believers who do struggle with sin. My interest does lie there. I've walked a hard road with personal struggles and I'm coming into the 4th type of soil in my walk with Christ and I want others to get there too.

Even if they WEREN'T lies/hacked, those words should not have been posted in this forum. The fact that someone would not see the inappropriateness of such filthy words in a Christian forum is puzzling to me. We aren't talking about mild cursing here. It was very vile and gross. I don't think you would post stuff like that about someone you disagree with even if it WERE their true posts. You seem a little harsh and mean in your responses sometimes, (just my opinion),but I think you would not do that from what I've come to know of you.

I'm sorry that has happened to your tweet account. Or...twitter? Don't really remember what it's called. :) I think I'm glad I don't have one of those accounts, seeing as what happened to you.

True...if you keep believing. That's the part the church leaves off.

Which do you believe:

There is nothing you can do, say, or think, or believe that would cause you to forfeit your salvation.

-or-

God won't let the true believer stop believing and lose his salvation.

Dcon is not an idol to me, or anyone else here for that matter. Besides there IS more than one David Dixon on Twitter. I checked. And even if that IS him on Twitter, his post there has no reason to be put on here by you.. You only did that to sling mud on someone's name.. How unChrist-like.. I wouldn't blame Dcon if he goes and digs up some dirt on you somewhere. I'm sorry but I do hope you're banned for doing this..
I may disagree with everything he stands for, but I would never post anything like that to make him look bad....he is doing a fine job himself.

It does not say that, Stop adding to the word of God!!

It says AFTER you believed, You were sealed. (Both are aorist tense verbs) It does not say after this we must continue to believe or our seal is broken, That would mean we can break the seal of God.

As for your question. Non of the above.

Those who have true faith will never lose faith, because God will never give them a reason to. YOU ONLY lose faith in people WHO PROVE UNTRUSTWORTHY.

it is sad you think God is so untrustworthy people may lose faiht in him. When will you repent?

Anyone can go back and see that Dcon is not afraid to apologise or admit he's wrong..

Just because you think he's wrong doesn't make it so.

Allow me to refresh your memory:
Somehow you got from this that I think that men who love God above all else will not love their neighbor as themselves too. How you got there, I have no idea. But then again, those who believe themselves sinless, or following after Christ when clearly they are not, often fall into egregious error. Sometimes it may be unwitting, but other times it really does come across as pride parading itself around in hypocrisy and self righteousness, which hardly seems accidental. .
Thanks for doing the "digging".
I do include sins of omission with the more flagrant lying, adultery, and murder.
But I also know that they who love their neighbors as themselves do help those in need.
The "answer" you picked up on must have been intended for Rokurac.
It's been too long ago for me to remember particulars.

The key to your above paragraph is "clearly they are not".
Please remember that in spite of the posers, there are also real obedient to God folks on earth still.

PS. Leave the misdeeds of others in the past, having forgiven them.
Move on to the next test you will receive as a means of glorifying of God.

They are told to depart because they were never saved to begin with and trusted into their works instead of JESUS.
On the one hand, I agree.
But you overlooked that Jesus specifically mentioned iniquity.
Iniquity is sin.
Men who say they are Christians, while still committing sin...were never Christians to begin with.
They trusted in their own works, false doctrines, and will suffer eternally for it.

Thank God for making a way to remain in the light, all the time!

The Bible does in fact say that salvation is conditioned on present believing. You have the sealing of the Holy Spirit if you are presently believing.

It says AFTER you believed, You were sealed. (Both are aorist tense verbs)
Nobody's arguing that you were not sealed when you believed. And all the Greek aorist tense means it happened in the past. That's all:

"...the aorist simply states the fact that an action has happened. It gives no information on how long it took, or whether the results are still in effect." The Tenses Explained

You people keep adding the meaning of unstoppable ongoing results to the meaning of the Greek aorist tense. It does NOT mean that. It only means it happened at a point in time in the past, which is not even in debate.

It does not say after this we must continue to believe or our seal is broken, That would mean we can break the seal of God.
Oh, don't misunderstand. God withdraws the seal, not you. He does it when the believer no longer satisfies the condition of present believing for salvation.

As for your question. Non of the above.

Those who have true faith will never lose faith, because God will never give them a reason to.
That's answer #2. That means you agree that there is something that can separate you from your salvation: unbelief. But you argue that the believer will be prevented from doing that by God.

YOU ONLY lose faith in people WHO PROVE UNTRUSTWORTHY.
Well, thank you for your opinion, but there are people who do walk away from God because they love sin more than they do righteousness. It's not a matter of whether God is trustworthy or not. They simply prefer the world more than they do the righteousness of God.

it is sad you think God is so untrustworthy people may lose faiht in him.
Perhaps you'd understand what I'm saying if you realized this is about people loving and relying on their sin more than they do the right things of God and because of that they go back to the world in an open rejection of Christ's forgiveness. Sometimes in a not so open rejection of Christ, but a rejection of Christ in unbelief nonetheless.

John was clear....Deceived and No truth <----all who say they have NO SIN........
John was addressing those who walk in darkness.
Those who walk in the light have had ALL their sins washed away by the blood of Christ.
Why can't they say they have no sin?

Now I admit that not all supposed converts will remain in the light, but there are some who do.
To the glory of God and the name of Jesus Christ!

1 John 1:8-10, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us."
1 John 3:7, "Little children, let no man deceive you; he who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous."
You should elaborate on these seemingly contradictory scriptures.
