No one says that. But when Paul taught salvation through the grace of God he was accused of licentiousness by people like you who did not understand the grace of God. (Rom 6.1)
You throw the accusations arond freely do you not? So I have heard people say "as soon as you believe your selaed and even if you lose faith your still save." Thus I wouldn't say no one, teaches licentiousness. Also Scripture says people do trurn mercy into excuse to sin;

Jude 1:4, “For there are certain men who have secretly crept in, who were before of old ordained for this condemnation, unholy men, who turn the undeserved pardon of our One Supreme Savior YHWH into licentiousness, and deny Yahshua our Messiah.

and it is people misunderstanding Paul that believe lawlessness is the right way or ok;

2 Peter/Kepha 3:15-17, "And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures. You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability."

Paul actually taught to keep the Law but that seeking to be justified by it is wrong;

Acts 24:14, "But I confess this to you, that after the way which they call heresy, so I worship the Father of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets."

Romans 7:25, "Thanks be to YHWH, I have deliverance through Yahshua Messiah our King! So then, with this same mind, I myself serve the Law of YHWH, while in the flesh that is yet subject to the law of sin."

Acts 21:24, "Take them, and be purified with them, and pay their expenses so that they may shave their heads. Then everyone will know that those things they were informed about you (forsaking the Law), were lies, and that you (Paul), yourself, walk orderly, and keep the Law."

1 Corinthians 7:19, "For neither circumcision counts for anything nor uncircumcision, but keeping the commandments of Yah?"

Romans 3:28, "For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the Law."

Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"

Romans 6:1-2, "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?"

Romans 7:7, Shall we therefore say that the Law is sin? No! By no means! But to the contrary, I did not know sin; transgression of the Law, except through the Law, for I did not know lust, unless the Law had said: Do not covet."

Romans 7:12, "Therefore the Law is holy, and the commandments are holy, and just, and righteous."

Ephesians 6:2-3, "Honor your father and mother; which is the first commandment with a promise: That it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth."

Obedience should be of the loving kind.. like a child who loves and Trusts their Loving Father who saved them undeservedly.. so I could tick the obedience required but wanted to elaborate that Love should not be burdensome but a delight.

example I tell my two year old(example:don’t have a two year old anymore) to say he loves me.. and he gives lips service telling me he loves me.. not knowing what Love is but he obeys my command..

I tell my 10 year old son... I love him and he believes me because I have loved him not just lip service but demonstrated it and taught Him what Love is...

And through the Words and actions of the Messiah GOD shows His Love and Mercy for us and we are set free to Love Him.. no greater demonstration can there be...

Faith that Worketh by Love.

forgive my example but I hope you grasp my intent...

Just by the wording of your question it is obvious that you don't know what unmerited even means.

If you are given something that is unmerited must you merit it afterwards? If you must merit it afterwards was it ever unmerited to begin with?

The truth is that we really, really want to live up to the gift we were given. But no matter how badly we want it, it is never about our works but always about Gods Work.

If God doesn't freely give us obedience by His Grace and Mercy we won't be.

If God doesn't freely give us Righteousness by His Grace and Mercy we won't be.

If God doesn't freely give us Salvation by His Grace and Mercy we won't be.

We receive all of this by faith in Christ. Not by our works or understanding or will or strength.

At the end all we can be is Thankful. We can't say that we performed well enough to deserve His Unmerited Grace and Favor.

If God doesn't freely give us obedience by His Grace and Mercy we won't be.
God freely give us His Holy Spirit in order to empower us to be obedient. But that does not make every believer automatically obedient.

That is why we read throughout Scripture that we are to walk in the Spirit and mortify the flesh. And even then, God says that if we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. That is also why Peter says that we are to be OBEDIENT CHILDREN.

Because grace is unmerited the offer of eternal life is to all humanity, including the vilest sinners. But once they are saved, they are to obey Christ as it is written, beginning with baptism. To observe is to obey.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. (Mt 28:19-20)

This is grace:

Titus 2:11-14
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

:eek:If this poll gave the names of those that participated and what choice they made I wonder how many would still participate In this poll.

I chose the last option other.

No man other than JESUS could fulfill GOD’s perfect standard of righteousness,So then If JESUS had not of atoned for us we would have had to be perfectly righteous of our own strength and because of the weakness of the flesh all would have came short of the glory of GOD.

So then we couldn’t have been obedient perfectly before getting saved and If we could have been perfect,JESUS would not have needed to come to earth and atone for our sins,but after we have received salvation by grace through faith we will seek to purify ourselves.

So then obedience Is not a requirement other than choosing to be obedient to believing the WORD of GOD but those born of Incorruptible seed will seek to purify themselves even as they are pure,I mean the Spirit was made Perfect by GOD and now the person will be In the process of renewing their minds to the new creation they have become ,presenting their bodies a living sacrifice and proving that good and acceptable and perfect will of GOD.

To those who deserve it.

And actually the statement is correct. When a man truly believes in Jesus Christ he is saved, and saved for ever. That is what the Scriptures teach. God does not fail in His task.

Have you ever come across it on here?
Here it says that just proclaiming is not enough, and those that nly proclaim and do not do are liars, It is Scripture:

1 Yahanan /John 2:3-7, “And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands. The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Yah has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked. Beloved, I write no fresh command to you, but an old command which you have had from the beginning. The old command is the Word which you heard from the beginning.”

Have you ever come across it on here?

Yes I haveread people say this on this site, and in the world, not commonly, but I have heard it. I dont remember who but within the past 2 weeks.

I have heard people say "as soon as you believe your sealed and even if you lose faith your still save."
Certain men who crept in secretly. Not genuine believers.

They are not genuine believers.

In other words not genuine believers. But if the Gospel is genuinely preached they will say that as they did of Paul. They do not understand the undeserved mercy of God.
I agree with that statement

James 2:14-26, “14 My brothers, what use is it for anyone to say he has belief but does not have works? This belief is unable to save him. 15, "And if a brother or sister is naked and in need of daily food, 16, "but one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” but you do not give them the bodily needs, what use is it? 17, "So also belief, if it does not have works, is in itself dead. 18, "But someone might say, “You have belief, and I have works.” Show me your belief without your works, and I shall show you my belief by my works. 19, "You believe that Yah is one. You do well. The demons also believe – and shudder! 20, "But do you wish to know, O foolish man, that the belief without the works is dead? 21, "Was not Aḇraham our father declared right by works when he offered Yitsḥaq his son on the slaughter-place? 22, "Do you see that the belief was working with his works, and by the works the belief was perfected? 23, "And the Scripture was filled which says, “Aḇraham believed Yah, and it was reckoned to him for righteousness.” And He called him, “he who loves Yah. 24, "You see, then, that a man is declared right by works, and not by belief alone. 25, "In the same way, was not Raḥaḇ the whore also declared right by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? 26, “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so also the belief is dead without the works.”

Wow! Thisis a wonderful fact! This is such a simple yet such a dynamic truth in this matter! praiseYah for His people!

Isaiah 60:1-4, “Arise, shine, for your light has come! And the esteem of יהוה has risen upon you. For look, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness the peoples. But יהוה arises over you, and His esteem is seen upon you. And the nations shall come to your light, and sovereigns to the brightness of your rising, Lift up your eyes all around and see: all of them have gathered, they have come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are supported on the side.”

Mat 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men, so that they see your righteous works and praise your Father who is in the heavens.”

Since the Bible speaks of those who "obey not the Gospel" and suffer eternal damnation, the Gospel is essentially a command -- BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND THOU SHALT BE SAVED (Acts 16:31). Repentance is also a command (Acta 17:30).

Christians should not confuse God's gracious offer of eternal life as a free gift to those who obey the Gospel, with the fact that God's imperatives are God's commands. And while justification is by grace through faith, sanctification is by obedience to Christ and the Holy Spirit. To love others is a commandment.

This is the religion that has been preached in the church for years and this is why the church does not see the moving of the Holy Spirit in sanctification and power. Col.2:6 "As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord., so walk in Him."

Did we receive Christ by works? Or did we receive Christ Jesus by grace through faith? Answer; We have received Jesus by grace through faith and that is how we are sanctified / set apart /blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.

For years our family was under this law and grace mixed gospel that says ... Ok., you got saved by all that Jesus did on the cross. Jesus did the hardest work and now it's your job to take up your cross and do the physical and mental and spiritual hard work of changing yourself.. after all., Jesus has given you this great starting point., now it's up to you to work your way into righteousness.

No., what you are doing is seeking to work your way into God's heart by establishing your own righteousness. The result is having a weak and beggarly life because it leaves Jesus at the starting point as you go on without Him.... thinking you are doing works of righteousness that pleases God., when in truth you are frustrating the grace of God that Jesus died to give you to live your Christian life with.

Amen., the key element to remember is we are already pure and righteous and holy in Christ. Now we walk it out by grace through faith. Phil.2:12-13 says;

[SUP]12 [/SUP]So then, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not [SUP][a][/SUP]as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; [SUP]13 [/SUP]for it is God who worketh in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.

We work out what Christ has already worked IN us. We don't work FOR our salvation., we work FROM our salvation and give Jesus all the glory and honor and credit. Because it is God who worketh in us both to WILL and to DO of His good pleasure.

Many Christians have gone on before us and learned the truth of Romans 8:2 [SUP]2 [/SUP]For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

They have stepped over the flesh (old manner of living) into the spirit (new manner of life). They made the choice (as we each must as Christians) to believe even further that God will DO what He said He would do in our lives here also because of His Son. And we have to turn from our old manner of living that caused us to do life ourselves. Not only to survive but to get the approval and blessings of God and man.

If we are mindful that Christ is our righteousness., and that Christ is our holiness., and that Christ is our redemption..., than we are rewarded for accepting the grace He gave. We are not rewarded for doing the Christian life in our own strength as we try (to no avail) to establish our own righteousness. Even if we are working really hard for God., it won't matter if Christ is not all those things (just mentioned here) to us in our day to day life.

Not only will we live weak and beggarly lives here on earth., but we will have only wood hay and stubble works to present to Him when we are going to receive our rewards... and they will be burned up and our rewards and blessings that were waiting for us in heaven will be forfeited. We will be saved but the rewards we could have had will be missed.

The promises that are in the Bible are ours ONLY through Christ. Yes., we can be saved and live a weak and beggarly life because we have not stepped out and into the deeper water of faith. Faith in Christ righteousness and not ours is a major rejection of our flesh. The amplified puts Hebrews 11:1 in such an excellent way that it describes the human inability to see unless it's with flesh-eyes.

11 Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, [SUP][a][/SUP]the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

When we live our Christian lives holding the title deed of Christ righteousness on us., all things are possible. Because we already have been given all things pertaining to life and Godliness. We have to acquire them and make them ours in our day to day life by grace through faith.

When we walk by faith., His life is shown out in our lives through the Holy Spirit flowing in and through us. In answered prayer., through Holy Spirit leading and teaching more and more of the Word to us as we go and seek to learn. More answered prayer., As we make ourselves available to Him and submit to His leading., the Bible says
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding... in all your ways acknowledge Him., and He will direct your paths. Prov.3:6

Acknowledging Him means acknowledging Jesus as our righteousness and our standing before God. Not only the reality of Jesus to save, but also to keep us and sustain us while here and into eternity.

Can we read just a few more verses? Romans 8:5-8?

Many Christians have gone on before us and learned the truth of Romans 8:2 [SUP]2 [/SUP]For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. .
You are isolating Scripture... What is the Lawof sin and death? To steal or to not steal?

Romans 7:14 For we know that the Law is spiritual; but I was carnal, sold into the power of sin*.

1 John 3:4, "...for sin is the transgression of the Law."

Romans 8:2, “Because through Yahshua Messiah, the Law of the Spirit has set me free from the law of sin and death.”

Romans 8:5-8, "For those who live according to the flesh, set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit, set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against; (bitterly opposed to), YHWH; for it his not subject to the Law of YHWH, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are of the flesh cannot please YHWH."

Romans 7:25, “Thanks be to YHWH, I have deliverance through Yahshua Messiah our King! So then, with this same mind, I myself serve the Law of YHWH, while in the flesh that is yet subject to the law of sin.”

Also who was the dragon enraged with?

The law we Christians are now following is the law of faith. Replace the words of law and commandments with the works of faith and the law of faith. Only then can you start to see what our job is now in the new covenant. Faith produces works. Works do not produce faith. The natural man has it backwards. We are so used to living according to our own understanding about life.

We think we are short changing God if we "believe" and have faith IN instead of doing the old works we used to do for rewards and favor with God. But that IS EXACTLY what we are called to DO in the new covenant. That is what pleases the Father. Without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God.

It's an astounding truth that needs to be considered and grown into because it is so awesome and heavenly. We have been made righteous IN Christ and the life we now live., we live by the faith of the Son of God who loved us and gave Himself for us. You will rejoice all over your house., you will have rivers of living water continually flowing in and through you as you consider this truth all throughout your day and the days a head in your Christian life.

There will be high expectations of answered prayer and Holy Spirit leading as you are ministered in the love of God in Christ for you.

SO the Messiah said this and it is true, yet if I said it I would be called a justified by works pharisee...

John/Yahanan 5:28-30, “Do not be astonished at this-for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice, and will come forth. Those who have practiced righteousness will be resurrected in order to live; and those who have practiced wickedness will be resurrected in order to be damned."

Can anyone tell me this is not 100% true?

I dont disagree with everything you say,however there seems to be a lack of a big chunk of what is spoken in the wrod and a focus on what makes one feel good. Followers of Yahshua/Jesus follow His words, He says;

Mat 24:35, “Heaven and earth may pass away, but My teachings will not pass away.”

Mat 22:37-40, "Yahshua said to him: You must love YHWH your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. (Deut 6:5) This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Lev 19:18) On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

John 14:23-24, "יהושע answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not guard My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but of the Father Who sent Me.”
