Enocish yup there is the kingdom of Jesus on earth, from jerusalem. Peter was waiting for it (acts 1:6)
thats what God promised Israel, and u can be sure God will always deliver.

here is the order of events in a very simplified form on google:

Snoozy
How are you. Thank you for the correction. I'm not exactly sure that the order of events you have there are correct. But that is another discussion for another time. The point i wanted to make is that the world is still going to be here for another day ( 1000 Years ). Then the eternity. ( after the judgment ). So the end of the world is never going to happen. So saying that it is coming, Is a bad choice of words. And can be deceptive or misleading to the baby Christians

The kingdom was given to Israel on Pentecost, but then Israel rejected it.

See, People, this is dangerous thinking..... reading where Satan said something, and believing he spoke the truth. Are we not told he is the "father of lies?".... then why would we ever try to say that he told Jesus the truth here?
entirely new thought. I've heard that for years. But, you are so right. He's a liar and no truth is in him. Wow!

Because it's in the word of God as what Satan said to Jesus. The truth is that, he did indeed gain authority over the nations. In fact said it himself:

"You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. 29And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe. 30I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me, 31but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go from here."

Though Jesus was victorious over Satan and the powers of darkness, the reversion of the authority of the kingdoms of this world has not yet taken place, but will at the sounding of the 7th trumpet when that war in heaven takes place where Satan his angels are finally cast out.

Satan quoted other scriptures that were true, but they interfered with others. Therefore what is written in the word of God regarding what Satan said was the truth. Satan still has authority over the nations and his being cast out of heaven at the 7th trumpet and 3 1/2 years later when he is cast into the Abyss it will bring an end to his authority. At that time Jesus takes over during his thousand year reign on this earth.

Yes, People it is dangerous first to call GOD (out) when in Ephesians 2:2, He(God) tells us Satan is the

"The Prince of the Power of the AIR". And then calling Satan (out) because he told Jesus about his ownership of the earth when they were in the desert.

Would not want to be in your shoes??????

Notice, He (Satan) Does NOT have Power over HELL.

So, you feel the stories we hear (and some here, have actually experienced) about druggies, Satinists, prostitutes, crooks, even killers and ISIS soldiers coming to Jesus, can't be true since Satan rules the world?

I say NOT SO. Satan certainly rules the worldly schemes and thoughts of those who submit to him, but he does not rule the very world that God said He "so loved and sent His son to that The World, through Him, might be saved."

This is the Defeatist attitude that I honestly do not believe Jesus wants us to buy into....... "Well, Satan rules the world, so unless they come walking through our church doors, there is nothing we can do to change things out there on the streets of the world."

Who? Have they identified themselves so that you can make that statement as a fact...... Or do some people simply see some of the prophecies of the Bible as having already taken place? That is a far cry from Preterism. That is, "You don't agree with me, so I am going to stick a label on you."
I don't suppose that you believe that Israel did NOT give up everything in 70 AD and their remnant will help Jesus to rule the earth in the millennium. Or IS there even going to be a millennium????

Label away.

No, I do not believe Israel "gave up everything." I believe they received a very severe chastisement in 70AD, and that their "Favored Position" was revoked. I believe that position was then given to the "spiritual Israel" instead of the "Physically Born" Jews, and they now will live (as they turn to the Messiah) alongside the rest of us, as equals in Christ. (There is now no Jew or Gentile)

Enocish,,,The Lord made it clear that the days on this earth were 24 hr days, 30 day months and 360 day years, etc. He also made it clear that His time was as a 1000 years to our 1 day.

You see He is a Body of Light. Light has no mass, thus is not confined to the 3 dimensional laws our bodies have to deal with. Therefore, Time a part of the fourth dimension (height, width, Depth, Time) means nothing to HIM. We also see this throughout the Bible especially in the upper room after his resurrection. The door was locked and He was there. No He did not walk through the wall but rather just popped in.

Yes, Peter spoke of this to the crowd at Pentecost, as it was happening. (I think you'll find that somewhere around Acts 2:17.)

Well, then I look at this, this way....Jesus delivered a knockout punch to the devil, and left for us to clean up the mess. :)

Agree?

Unlike many here, I have not been blessed with the ability to declare with all certainty what much of that specifically addressed. I can guess, just like they do, but I cannot make the same kind of declarative statements.

So true. But some of us won't step into the ring. They're waiting for Him to come back to do what He told us to continue doing in His absence.

[h=2]The Son of Man Must Be Lifted Up[/h]Joh 12:27 "Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, deliver me from this hour'? But for this reasonI have come to this hour!

Joh 12:28 Father, glorify your name!" Then a voice came from heaven, "I have both glorified it, and I will glorify itagain."

Joh 12:29
Now the crowd that stood there and heard it said it had thundered. Others were saying, "An angel has spoken to him!"

Joh 12:30 Jesus answered and said, "This voice has not happened for my sake, but foryour sake.

Joh 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world! Now the ruler of this world will be thrown out!

Following that it also says that "every eye will see him" and that he would send his angels out to gather the elect from the four corners of the earth. And 3 1/2 years prior to that the abomination would be set up. And since Rev.19:11-21 is a detailed account of Matt.24:29-31, we would have had to have seen all of the events mention in the Lord's return to the earth.

Yet we have seen none of those events take place.
Jesus was cut off in the midst of the 70th week...3.5 years....
the abomination that makes desolate happened....

Hello Iconoclast,

The events of the sun, moon and stars are not symbolic, but should be interpreted as being literal. For there is nothing in the context that would infer the sun, moon and stars as being symbolic or allegorical.

"And immediately after the tribulation of those days:‘The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and
the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’ "

If stars literally fall from the sky...do you think the earth would still be here?
look here in rev6;
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Do you think the heaven will roll up like a scroll? literally??? Stars are going to fall to the earth literally....?

Oh, c'mon now, that's just one of those little details people who want to claim they are Literalists feel free to overlook. (He'll say it really meant a meteor shower.)

That sounded like a Politician.....LOL....But

I guess if One (not speaking of you here, but rather in generality) symbolizes Revelation and stops all prophecies from happening in the future, a physical Millennium would be difficult prove!
