Day of the LORD.

Zec 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
Zec 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Zec 14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
Zec 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Zec 14:5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
Zec 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
Zec 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Isa 13:4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.
Isa 13:5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.
Isa 13:6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
Isa 13:7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:
Isa 13:8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
Isa 13:9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
Isa 13:10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
Isa 13:11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

Joe 3:1 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
Joe 3:2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
Joe 3:9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
Joe 3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
Joe 3:11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.
Joe 3:12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
Joe 3:13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
Joe 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
Joe 3:15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
Joe 3:16 The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

The day of the LORD is when God ends this sin business on earth, and Jesus defeats the world at the battle of Armageddon, and rules the world with a rod of iron.

Right on, yeah it is prophesied here:

Daniel 7:25, "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."

times” is word #H2166 – zeman, Strong's Concordance, zeman: time, Original Word: זְמָן, Part of Speech: Noun Masculine, Transliteration: zeman, Phonetic Spelling: (zem-awn'), Short Definition: time

Daniyl Chapter 2-7 is written in Aramaic, not Hebrew. The Israylites were taken captive to Babylon and made to forget their ways under the rule of the Bablonian king. “Zem-awn'” is an Aramaic word, and is the literal equivilent of the Hebrew word “moadim” - word #H4150 meaning: “appointed times”

"time" for , “a time and times and the dividing of time” Is a different root word from the first thus showing it conveys a different meaning.

“a time and times and the dividing of time” is word #H5732 – iddan, Strong's Concordance - iddan: time, Original Word: עִדָּן, Part of Speech: Noun Masculine, Transliteration: iddan, Phonetic Spelling: (id-dawn'), Short Definition: time

It may or may not be talking about Pope Gregory XIII, because the Israylites started keeping a different calendar in Bablonian captivity and retained it in some form after leaving captivity, but none the less it stands true and the Gregorian calendar is actually a continualtion/updated version of said Babalonian calender.
yes, it is a Babylonian calendar. we oppose each other in many places, but we seem to stand in agreement against the new world order deception.

May we praiseYah shoulder to shoulder in the reading of this Psalm perhaps?!?!?

I delightfully call this one "demise to the symbols-of-the-dollar-bill-12-728.jpg Psalm"

Psalm 2:1-12, “Why do the nations rage, And the peoples meditate emptiness? The sovereigns of the earth take their stand, And the rulers take counsel together, Against יהוה and against His Messiah, and say, Let us tear apart Their bonds, And throw away Their ropes from us. He who is sitting in the heavens laughs, יהוה mocks at them. Then He speaks to them in His wrath, And troubles them in His rage, saying, But I, I have set My Sovereign on Tsiyon, My set-apart mountain. I inscribe for a law: יהוה has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have brought You forth. Ask of Me, and I make the nations Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth Your possession. Break them with a rod of iron, Dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel. And now, be wise, O sovereigns; Be instructed, you rulers of the earth. Serve יהוה with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son lest He be enraged, And you perish in the way, For soon His wrath is to be kindled. Blessed are all those taking refuge in Him.”

Sunday (scripturally the first day of the week) is called THE LORD'S DAY. Not "the Day of the LORD (YHWH)". And the Day of the LORD is not merely 24 hours, but a period of time corresponding to the Great Tribulation. It is most definitely a period of time when God pours out His intense wrath upon the unbelieving and ungodly world.

I agree here, and I never did say it was a literal 24 hours, I asked;

  • It is Sunday (please explain)

  • It is the day of YHWH's wrath (please explain)

  • Other (please explain)

    Can you show me in Scripture where it says this;

Sunday (scripturally the first day of the week) is called THE LORD'S DAY.

Where in Scripture does it say Sunday or the 1st day is "the Lord's Day" or that Revelation 1:9-10 is talking about Sunday/1st day?

Could one not go "the Lord's day" (Monday)?
The Sabbath Day, Saturday, the last day of the week, under Moses, was to commemorate a finished creation.
The Lord’s Day, Sunday, the first day of the week, under Christ, commemorates a finished redemption.

We are no longer under Moses, we are under Christ. Jesus rose from the dead on a Sunday morning. You will find many things the early church did ‘upon the first day of the week’.

Old Testament = Saturday
New Testament = Sunday

What is “the day of the Lord" / “the "\Day of YHWH"

Is it Sunday?

Is it when YHWH's wrath is poured out upon the earth and it's inhabitants?

Or is it something else completely?

The term “the day of the Lord" / “the Day of YHWH" is used among believers to mean different things, but what is it really?
One day with the Lord is a thousand years for us 2Peter.3:8, it is judgment day.Rev.20:4, as for the Lords day it is everyday since Jesus became our Sabbath. God bless

I agree 1 days is as 1,00 years to Yah and judgement day, but is there Scripture to support "Jesus became our Sabbath?" Because the rest in Him is still future, it is the kingdom:

Matt 11:27-30, "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father. And no one fully knows the Son except the Father, neither does anyone fully know the Father, except the Son and those whom YHWH wills the Son to reveal. Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light"

2 Thessalonians 1:5-10, “Clear evidence of the righteous judgment of יהוה, in order for you to be counted worthy of the reign of יהוה, for which you also suffer, since יהוה shall rightly repay with affliction those who afflict you, and to give you who are afflictedrest with us when the Master יהושע is revealed from heaven with His mighty messengers, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know יהוה, and on those who do not obey the Good News of our Master יהושע Messiah, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Master and from the esteem of His strength, when He comes to be esteemed in His set-apart ones and to be admired among all those who believe in that Day, because our witness to you was believed.”

Revelation 14:13, "And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead, the ones dying in the Messiah from now on! Yes, says the Spirit: because they will rest from their labors, and their works do follow them!"

Revelation 21:4-8 And YHWH will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, nor will there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away. And He Who sat upon the throne, said: Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me: Write, for these words are true and faithful. And He said to me: It is done! I am Aleph and Tau, the Beginning and the End. I will give to him who thirsts of the fountain of the water of life freely. He who overcomes will inherit all things; and I will be his Father, and he will be My son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and worshipers of false gods, and all liars, will have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone--which is the second death."

I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
Revelation 1:9-10, “I, Yoḥanan, both your brother and co-sharer in pressure, and in the reign and endurance of יהושע Messiah, came to be on the island that is called Patmos for the Word of יהוה and for the witness of יהושע Messiah. I came to be in the Spirit on the Day of יהוה,a and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet.

SO we have "
in the Spirit on the Day of יהוה" and "a trumpet"

No distinction that "
the Day of יהוה" is a particualr day of the week but many passages shoiw it is the day/time of YHWH's wrath.

Also the
"trumpet" if we look at the verse below we will see:

"took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, and thunders, and lightnings, and an earthquake. And the seven messengers who held the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound."

Trumpets sounding R
evelation 8:1-6, and fire being thrown to earth; Malachi 4:1-6 also below;

Revelation 8:1-6, "And when He opened the seventh seal, there came to be silence in the heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven messengers who stand before
יהוה, and to them were given seven trumpets. And another messenger came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer, and much incense was given to him, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the set-apart ones upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the set-apart ones, went up before יהוה from the hand of the messenger. And the messenger took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, and thunders, and lightnings, and an earthquake. And the seven messengers who held the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound."
the messenger took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth

burning like a furnace, and all the proud, and every wrongdoer shall be stubble. And the day that shall come shall burn them up

Malachi 4:1-6, "4:1, "“For look, the day shall come, burning like a furnace, and all the proud, and every wrongdoer shall be stubble. And the day that shall come shall burn them up,” said יהוה of hosts, “which leaves to them neither root nor branch."4:2, "“But to you who fear My Name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings. And you shall go out and leap for joy like calves from the stall."4:3, "“And you shall trample the wrongdoers, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this,” said יהוה of hosts."4:4, "“Remember the Torah of Mosheh, My servant, which I commanded him in Ḥorĕḇ for all Yisra’yl – laws and right-rulings."4:5, "“See, I am sending you Ěliyah the prophet before the coming of the great and awesome day of יהוה., "“And he shall turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with utter destruction.”

Aaahhh....the 'early church who became infiltrated with UNgodly men perverting the Word of God...changing the 'cornerstone of the One who is 'the same yesterday, today and forever...which in the end will fall on them and grind them to powder !
Daniel 2:34-35, “You were looking on, until a stone was cut out without hands, and it smote the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing-floors. And the wind took them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that smote the image became a great mountain and filled all the earth.”

Daniel 2:44-45, “And in the days of these sovereigns the Strength of the heavens shall set up a reign which shall never be destroyed, nor the reign pass on to other people – it crushes and puts to an end all these reigns, and it shall stand forever. Because you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it crushed the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold, the great Strength has made known to the sovereign what shall be after this. And the dream is true, and its interpretation is trustworthy.”

Daniel 7:13-14, “I was looking in the night visions and saw One like the Son of Enosh, coming with the clouds of the heavens! And He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. And to Him was given rulership and preciousness and a reign, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His rule is an everlasting rule which shall not pass away, and His reign that which shall not be destroyed.”

Daniyl 7:21-27, “I was looking, and this horn was fighting against the set-apart ones, and was prevailing against them, until the Ancient of Days came, and right-ruling was given to the set-apart ones of the Most High, and the time came and the set-apart ones took possession of the reign. This is what he said, ‘The fourth beast is the fourth reign on earth, which is different from all other reigns, and it devours all the earth, tramples it down and crushes it. And the ten horns are ten sovereigns from this reign. They shall rise, and another shall rise after them, and it is different from the first ones, and it humbles three sovereigns, and it speaks words against the Most High, and it wears out the set-apart ones of the Most High, and it intends to change appointed times and law, and they are given into its hand for a time and times and half a time. But the Judgment shall sit, and they shall take away its rule, to cut off and to destroy, until the end. And the reign, and the rulership, and the greatness of the reigns under all the heavens, shall be given to the people, the set-apart ones of the Most High. His reign is an everlasting reign, and all rulerships shall serve and obey Him.”

SO we have "in the Spirit on the Day of יהוה" and "a trumpet"

You're confusing the Lord's day with the day of the Lord.

Lord's day = First day of the week, when the church met to break bread and drink of the cup.

The day of the Lord = A future time period of God's wrath which will be carried out via the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments

"
I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, which said: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.”

John's reference to being "your companion in the suffer and kingdom and patient endurance" is referring to the tribulation and persecution that Jesus said believers would experience due to their faith in Christ. John is not saying that he was suffering because of the day of the Lord, which is God's coming wrath.

All you are doing is misapplying these two phrases. The suffering that John was experiencing is that he was exiled to the island of Patmos, where "the day of the Lord" is still a future time of wrath and therefore John could not have possibly been referring to that time period, because it hasn't even started yet.

All that you are doing is adding on to the myriad of false teachings that are already out there.

What about you having to bear your own judgment, "Every man shall bear his own judgment," "Not discerning the body of Christ." Also not understanding Grace: the influence of God to save to the uttermost, "All manner of sin shall be forgiven to man but rejecting the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven to man." "We have died with Christ," "A dead man is free from sin." It's about being carried by His Spirit, "in the fellowship of His sufferings" to attain the Resurrection. "A new commandment I give to you, that you Love one another; as I have loved you, that you love one another."

I just gave it to you! Do you understand that "the day of the Lord" which is the time of God's coming wrath has not yet taken place? Therefore, when John said, "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day" he could not have possibly been speaking about the time of God's wrath. Use your head!

As I said, John being in the Spirit on the Lord's day was referring to the first day of the week when the broke bread. His being in the Spirit meant that he was meditating on the Lord and his word.

Where does it say Sunday? John was in prophecy, in the Spirit. When Daniyl prophesied this he was in prophecy, does not mean either one time traveled. All the prophets were given visions of future times...

Daniyl 7:21-27, “I was looking, and this horn was fighting against the set-apart ones, and was prevailing against them, until the Ancient of Days came, and right-ruling was given to the set-apart ones of the Most High, and the time came and the set-apart ones took possession of the reign."

John was in the Spirit seeing the end times...

How did any of the prophets 2,000, 4,000, or how every many years ago see the future if they lived so long ago? They were "in the Spirit" and prophesying. John wrote that 2,000 years ago and was prophesying the future. Where is any Scripture saying John was prophesying on Sunday?
