Hi VCO
. . .
wish we had more smileys.

GUESS THAT IS A NO GO ON THE UNICODES. Maybe GIFS as much as I do not like them may there are a few appropriate ones:

THIS IS A TEST, please bare with me. I got these from Free Emoticons and Smiley Faces | MyEmoticons.com Emotions They are free downloads, I warn everyone, that a lot of the smileys are rude and crude and would NOT be appropriate on a Christian site. I picked the one ones that should be appropriate for this site. They should copy/paste from this post. I put the one smashing the computer there, because all of us have been to almost that level frustration with our PCs before. My old PC just turned itself on, and I have not used it in two months, so I got to go run a Virus scan for a Hacker, so I may get to the point that I can appreciate that bottom smiley all the more.

4For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ." Jude 1:4

Rom 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

woe to those who claim to Jesus is their Master and Lord, but willingly choose to obey His enemy and continue to live in sin. There will be much weeping and gnashing of teeth when he Returns. Those who obey Jesus, Namely those who Love One Another, will be taken up with Him. Those who choose to obey His enemy continually will be left behind, and it does not matter what doctrine they hold on to, that is the TRUTH.

John 7
24, Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Matthew 7
1, Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2, For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3, And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4, Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5, Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Romans 2

1, Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
2, But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
3, And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
4, Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
5, But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
6, Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
7, To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8, But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
9, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;1
10, But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:2
11, For there is no respect of persons with God.
12, For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13, (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Only God's Word is true....

New International Version 1984 1 Peter 4:9-19 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, HE SHOULD DO IT AS ONE SPEAKING THE VERY WORDS OF GOD. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. Suffering for Being a Christian Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And, “If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?” So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

Wats wrong if I ask for a personal friend for a Christian community group....
Nothing, but you may not know this, there is a Video Chat section on this site, and a Private Messaging service here too, and a way to invite people to be your friends here, too. Wanting them to go to Skype to contact you, just looks suspicious.

So you can't copy/paste on a ipad. I knew there was a reason why I never bought one of them.

And I did not think I would get to use that one.

You can copy copy and paste some things but apparently not smileys. Do you see a box above this sentence? That's what happens.

Im having some back problems so the iPad is easier now to use than sitting at my desk. Or even sitting with the laptop on my lap.

It has has its advantages. But, see the double words? That's frustrating.

I am not trying to say that you say anything. I am saying how I process and hear what you are saying. So please do not say I am saying that you are saying anything. I am saying what I hear you are saying.
That is very confusing.

I think Romans 7 is on the point. Especially starting at verse 14

Romans 7 New International Version (NIV)

Released From the Law, Bound to Christ
1 Do you not know, brothers and sisters—for I am speaking to those who know the law—that the law has authority over someone only as long as that person lives? 2 For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law that binds her to him. 3 So then, if she has sexual relations with another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress if she marries another man.

4 So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God. 5 For when we were in the realm of the flesh, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death. 6 But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

The Law and Sin
7 What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.” 8 But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, produced in me every kind of coveting. For apart from the law, sin was dead. 9 Once I was alive apart from the law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died. 10 I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life actually brought death. 11 For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, deceived me, and through the commandment put me to death. 12 So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good.

13 Did that which is good, then, become death to me? By no means! Nevertheless, in order that sin might be recognized as sin, it used what is good to bring about my death, so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful.

14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. 15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!

So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.
