David was free to have multiple wives, Because of grace, it does not mean he profited from it. He actually as they all did, suffered from it.

But his eternity had nothing to do with him having multiple wives. Or committing murder or adultry.

it had to do with his FAITH.

Sometimes we gotta go through something that we can understand and help people who have a problem in that area.
I see God in my life as he works in my life and yea just like everyone else i have weaknesses.
I dont condemn and judge people for being a pain. But theyre gonna be judged according to how they judge others. We should guide and correct each other in love and by the guidance of the holy spirit. Barely people do that
Amen, thats why the elder is so good at helping people. They went through the same crap everyone goes through. And found victory.

And they do not judge, they disciple and come alongside people in order to help them, because (if they have ever been judged) they know how useful that is in helping people overcome sin.

Psalm 119:44-45, "That I might guard Your Law continually, Forever and ever; That I might walk in liberty, For I have sought Your orders;"

James 1:22-25, “And become doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. Because if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror, for he looks at himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what he was like. But he that looked into the perfect Law of liberty, and continues in it, not becoming a hearer that forgets, but a doer of work, this one shall be blessed in his doing.”

James 2:8-12, “If you truly accomplish the sovereign Law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself, (Lev 19:18) you do well, but if you show partiality, you commit sin, being found guilty by the Law as transgressors. For whoever shall guard all the Law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” (Exo 20:14) also said, “Do not murder.” (Exo 20:13) Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of Law. So speak and so do as those who are to be judged by the Law of liberty.”

Romans 7:25, “Thanks be to YHWH, I have deliverance through Yahshua Messiah our King! So then, with this same mind, I myself serve the Law of YHWH, while in the flesh that is yet subject to the law of sin.”

Romans, “6:1-2, "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin* that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?"

*What is sin, that we may not continue in it?

But thanks to יהוה that you were servants of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of teaching to which you were entrusted. And having been set free from sin, you became servants of righteousness. I speak as a man, because of the weakness of your flesh. For even as you did present your members as servants of uncleanness, and of lawlessness resulting in lawlessness, so now present your members as servants of righteousness resulting in set-apartness. For when you were servants of sin, you were free from righteousness. What fruit, therefore, were you having then, over which you are now ashamed? For the end thereof is death. But now, having been set free from sin, and having become servants of יהוה, you have your fruit resulting in set-apartness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the favorable gift of Elohim is everlasting life in Messiah יהושע our Master.”

the Law of Liberty is being free from slavery to sin...

why?

HizikYah.. you carry on sharing.. it is refreshing.. the out of context can be said about anyone who has a different understanding.. Contend for the Faith my friend.
thank you praise Yah!

and I know those passages are not out of context it is just an excuse to ignore what is written, oh it for jews,m or whatever excuse, yet the entire word is for our understanding. I get we are all in differnt places, but what is written in what is written.

Mat 4:4, “But He answering, said, “It has been written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of יהוה.” (Deut 8:3)

Free from condemnation from the curse that com,es with the law. (God has removed the curse from us, having become a curse himself.)

All things are lawful. Not all things are profitable. Do you even understand what that means.

Just because someone says one is under grace does not mean they condone sin,. That is just a strawman which is not true.

The law of liberty, The unbeliever will be judged by it, because he did not keep it.

the believer will not be judged by it, Because of the cross.

Everyone is free to chose what he wants to follow.. however, our eternity will be determined by what you chose.

A new version of Amazing Grace for the workers for...

AMAZING WORKS that I believe
Will save a wretch like meeeeeeeeeee
I now can boast, and brag with gleeeeeee
Because it is all of meeeeeeeee

LALA LALLA LALALLA LALALLA

How difficult is it to understand....

NOT BY WORKS OF RIGHTEOUS WHICH WE HAVE DONE, BUT ACCORDING TO HIS MERCY HAS HE SAVED ME
The background of the author of the song says a lot about it. He was a captain of a slave ship. When a storm threatened one of them they would throw overboard some of the cargo. Black men and women chained together. He later became a Christian and this song is part of his lament about his history.

hizikyah what translation is that? what are u using u see????
He is using a translation aimed at Jews. The names of the books are different and in a different order. It also uses the traditional Jewish names for people and places. It is confusing to Christians who are used to the normal translations.. I have a digital copy of it Trying to look up some reference in it is difficult. You have to know that Jewish name of the book for starters. Then figuring out the names of the people and places is difficult. It's fine for Jews knowing that information but for everyone else it is a pain.

To me he just obscures the issue by using it and is possibly showing off a bit.

Many admit it themselves. One pastor said he was working out to ACDC highway to hell. One of these megachurches. He said he was praying to the Lord on how to start His day and that came up. :D
The church today has let seducing spirits in the door, mainly through what we define as modern worship.

Even Jesus was at weddings and with sinners tho if u take some verses out u would have to deem that bad too because its also written to stay away from sinners.
Actually, this is what is written:

"9I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people; 10I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world. 11But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler—not even to eat with such a one." (1 Corinthians 5:9-11 NASB)

It's okay to associate with unbelievers (but not bound to them). What is forbidden is associating with those who claim to be brothers/sisters but who are immoral, covetous, etc.

I know phart from another thread. I gave up with him.who has ears to hear, hear. But some ppl dont...or only partially
I need to have ears to hear that it's okay to purposely watch naked people perform explicit sex acts on each other? Really?

murder is not lawful.
I never said it was. And please stop putting words in my mouth, and try for one cle in your life to listen to what I am saying.

and I never said mercy = condoning sin, but when some tells me the Law is done away or following it is bad they are in oppistion to it. as it is written on the heart of the beleiver.
And I never said I was in opposition to the law. So in two sentences you have totally proven you are not out to help me see as you do. Not understand what I am saying.

but you are still not saying in polain words what the law of liberty is.
I did tell you what it was. You just refuse to listen.

Can you tell me what youy think it is. Forgive me, but after slandering me twice, and then telling me I did not do something I did, I totally ignored the rest of your post.

Joy is our strength....

Laughter good for the bones..
The joy of the Lord is your strength, not your personal joy.

Joy is not happiness, because happiness is a human emotion and predicated and achieved upon and through human circumstances. Joy is the security to know that whatever circumstances you encounter you will not be moved by them.

Nehemiah 8:11 is properly broken down to mean, that is it is the Lord's joy to be your strength when circumstances keep you from being strong. This in turn gives us the fruit of joy, because we know he is working on our behalf to accomplish in his power and strength, what we cannot. Knowing this keeps us from being grieved in our spirit, body and soul.

Hang it up PHart.

It is quite apparent by the vast majority of your posts that you attack the church indiscriminately, and those on here, accused and attacked, with a broad brush of accusations, accusing them of loving, living in, and condoning sin. You've laid this charge on nearly every person you've engaged in on this site...
We are living in a similar time as when the people of God were soaked in Baal worship. It had gotten to the point they were not even ashamed of it.

...up to and including calling them lost, and calling me lost, personally, as recent as yesterday.
Here, this is what I actually said:
Oh, and by the way, what I said is I consider anyone an unbeliever if they watch or condone programming like Game of Thrones. I have that right as a Christian. Whether you really are lost or not is not my call. I only know I have the right and the responsibility. How do you watch out for wolves among the sheep if you can't consider a person an unbeliever?
I can consider a person an unbeliever. Jesus said so. How else is the church going to look out for the wolves if they are not allowed to make judgments about who they consider an unbeliever, lol? Whether they really are wolves or not will be easily made known by the person themselves.

All this chatter about 'judging'. It's what unbelievers do. That's why I always have to question if someone who says they are a brother or sister is a wolf or not. They act like unbelievers so I treat them like one. That doesn't mean I hate them, or won't greet them, or won't be friends with them. It means they are not to be trusted as a fellow believer until they can prove by their response to the truth that they are a true believer.
