Here is a special clip of Mr. Rogers. It shows just how beautiful and kind this good man was. Funnily, Rogers was on an episode of Candid Camera. The set up was that he was in a hotel room and there was no television. Other guests ranted and raved. Rogers very sweetly assured the hotel employee that it was quite alright and not a burden. He was more concerned about relieving the employee's distress than demanding his rights. Rogers was the real deal.

What a beautiful kid. And what a wonderful idea for a children's show. Thank you for showing this.

This is going to sound strange, but as a child, I could feel the love emanating from Mr. Rogers toward we children. I have great memories of watching Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood.

We watched him growing up as well. Miss his show.. want my son to grow up watching him.. guess I’ll have to YouTube for the next 18 years or so lol.
I wonder if his shows are on DVD? It seems like PBS would offer them to the public as people our ages are having children and would like to share Mr. Rogers with their little ones. It may be worth looking into, God bless you and your family. Happy First Thanksgiving to your little one.

Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood was the best. He was a beautiful, gentle soul who embodied Christian love and ethics. He was a great role model for all of us, and was on governmental television, not private. It seems that our governmental channel’s programming is of a higher quality than our private channels. This is my opinion, of course. If you have not seen Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood, you should. It is uplifting, like going to Sunday School.

Rogers was a Presbyterian minister, incidentally.
Ooh I was going to mention Mr. Rogers! He was my second favorite next to sesame street. My third was The Electric Company. I always wondered why Mr. Rogers changed shoes in the beginning of the show lol... Now I realize now that dress shoes are not as comfortable as casual shoes/loafers :D But I wonder how many little kids understood that :D Oh and the little diorama of a town in the beginning of the opening song! :D

I had no time for cartoon as a child...

I was busy earning a living.

I am sorry to hear that. Every child deserves to be a child growing up.
But I do like Oliver Twist.
