Jag hoppas du tycker om köttbullar. Jag var kär i en svensk. Han var rolig, troende..... jag trodde han var "Mannen". Han tyckte inte jag var "kvinnan", dock. Saknar honom men jag hoppas någon annan är lika rolig och smart. Och som inte är lika elak. Han tyckte om köttbullar....

She grew up as a Pentecostal and married a preacher. She later divorced. I am not sure whether she is still a believer, but i think she is.

Well this is what Google translate made of that!

“I hope you like meatballs. I was in love with a Swedish. He was funny, believer ..... I
thought he was "the man". He did not think I was "the woman", though.
Miss him but I hope somebody else is as funny and smart. And that's not as bad.
He liked meatballs.”

Köttbullar kan vara ok, det beror på vad de är gjorda av och såsen. Om jag
träffar någon jag hoppas att de kan laga mer än köttbullar!

I also speak a few languages but i think Concepts are more important than Languages.
In today's world, there is a lot of confusion about simple concepts because the language has been butchered into a state where the original root words have lost their meaning because people use synonyms of synonyms.

I think concepts have basic root words and there is truth to them to convey a direct relation to the physical world.
But since the invention of the Internet, root words have lost their meaning.

Sometimes spiritual or philosophical concepts are confused for representations of physical reality and sometimes the physical reality is confused for a mental thought.

Interesting situation.

Maybe we will revert back to hieroglyphs like the Egyptians to express ourselves or maybe we will end up like that movie Idiocracy.

Lol, this really is an antique thread. I was learning Swedish at the time. Can’t say I’m fluent yet, but they sort of understand what I’m saying. It was the singer Evert Taube who made me want to learn the language. He was good at sea shanties.

I was born in Albania, so that's my native language. I live in US now. I also see that your native language is French, maybe?
Albania is near Greece and Italy, so i speak and understand those two. Italian more fluent. But broken Greek.
I also tried to learn German but those guys are backwards. :D
For example if you want to say "How are you" in German, the sentence structure would be "You, how are".
Demi and Wolfie are from Germany as well. They can confirm.

A lot of these languages have changed a lot in the past twenty years due to Internet mostly and foreign concepts which are troll-level but very trendy and popular.
French doesn't borrow a lot of words but Italians do. So do Albanians. Albanians in fact borrow more foreign words which make no sense in Albania or the culture, but they do it anyway cos they think it sounds "cool". lol
Greeks don't borrow a lot of words either. Not sure about the Germans.

Yeah, I know a little German, but not good enough to engage in a conversation. Greek is way too complicated, I’ve been to Greece many times, but that alphabet leaves me baffled lol. Same goes for Italian even though it’s related to French. But I know more Italian than Greek. Swedish I can finally speak and be reading. Even writing some.
