Hello my friends! <3 Hebrews 8:7-13 (one of my favourite scriptures)

God said...

“Behold, the days are coming, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days..."

"I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.

FOR I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

He has made the first obsolete (outdated, outmoded). Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

LOL.. I've had sciatica, and a herniated disk that started it all. The only things that helped me was narcotics and steroids.. Also, for the last 20-plus years, I have had a bad back full of disks that crunch down and grind on each other, as well as bulging disks that hit the sciatic nerve every now and then... My back pain is NOTHING close to the indescribable pain of sciatica. I can't even put a word on that type of pain..

AND on top of the sciatica, I had to take care of a terminally ill cat who kept throwing up and having diarrhea every day. That was NOT fun, nor was it easy.. I've had alot of pain in my life, but that of sciatica is truly the worst.

This isn't right EG. Ice is used for the first 24 hours of an injury. Then heat. Sometimes a combination of heat and ice is used
but, not for sciatic pain. Heat. Lol. I stand my ground.

Good Morning Dr.Stone's, as you may have heard
I have injured my Sciatic nerve. Today at 1pm I go for my second treatment at the Chiropractor's office and at 11am i will see my primary care Doc. My question to you is what type of pain relief should I ask for when I see the Primary care Doctor. She gave me tramadol, a musle relaxer before but they do not work for this level of pain. Any Ideas what I should use. I prayed to Jesus all nite and praise God He was with me all night. What do you think I'm in terrible pain right now.

Thank you Dr. Stone's.......
:)

Hello everyone, I will be down and out for awhile due to Sciatic nerve treatments; I took a fall in the shower and pinch the sciatic nerve, no pain relief as yet, trusting in Jesus. I have mostly fond memories of this forum and look to be back here soon. Prayer are welcome as aways...Tell Dcon, it has always been saved by grace eternally, "Not By Works" :)

Back soon God willing,

The new covenant that God made with us is no longer dependent on us. It is "foolproof", "failproof" and purely dependent on Jesus' finished work on the Cross, a perfect picture of both His JUSTICE and MERCY at work.

Who would want to rely on anything else? it boggles my mind.

Me too. But we know what it was like before learning the truth and it sucks that some people are like THIS close, but they still fail to see it. Frustrating.

It is, and also sad. Because we know if they do not repent, what they will think of for eternity, I was this close. And I let it slip through my hands. Woe is me.

Ask about taking Robaxin. It's the muscle relaxer that I was prescribed. And discuss Dilaudid for pain. Steroid shots or patches will work the best, if you're in agonizing pain..

Well, I am just a nurse, and not allowed to prescribe. But, my many years of pain, Darvocet was the best for me, but, it was two not one at a time. Tramadol would have to be more than one too. The Tens unit coupled with pain Meds works well.

But, CBD oil worked the best so far.

Sciatic pain has to be the worst. I feel for you, but my personal opinion would be the combo of heat and ice.

Currently I take Tramadol with CBD oil. Syringomyelia is very painful too, and it destroys the nerves in the spinal cord.

I hope you werent being sarcastic or facetious, but if so, I forgive you. ;)

So what is your pain professional telling you?

My back was so herniated that it took 3 shots in it, to get the swelling down. They only allow 1 shot per month, so ask about that, and ask if you can wear oral patches in between.. That's what my doctors did with me.. I feel bad for you, I know this agony all too well.

Blue, Dilaudid is one of the strongest pain Meds and is not given at first. If other drugs fail, then they move up to the next level. With the current push against opioids, it would be hard to get.

But, then one never knows because doctors view pain differently.

I know this wasn't to me, but anyhoo.. :) I only took the Robaxin when I had to go out and do stuff. Laundry, shopping, etc. The Dilaudid I treated like gold and used sparingly, because I don't like taking narcotic meds unless absolutely necessary. For the most part I just took ibuprofen and extra strength Tylenol.. :) In my case, the Dilaudid didn't even touch the pain at all so it didn't matter whether I took it or not.

I know it is. It's what my doctors gave me, right off the bat. They even gave me a script to fill for it.. The Robaxin, too. Hopefully TT's pain isn't as severe as mine was.. That's why I told him to talk to his doctor about it, maybe the doctor will recommend another med.

We are all sinners and come short of the glory of God. Therefore are prone to error. People get hung up over the distinctives of denominations instead of celebrating the common belief spoken of in the Apostles Creed. That was developed in the early church to seperate Christians from non Christians. It works today.
No....what seperates Christians from lost men is the root.....with different denominations you get 57 flavors of salvation....there is but 1 (one) biblical salvation and but 1 gospel that brings said salvation.......

Thats the problem with pain medications. What works for one doesn't for another. I'm sorry to say this, but unless the Lord intervenes, TT is going to suffer to some extent because the injury is fresh.

My license prohibits me from saying how much one can take TT, but ask your doctor about taking more than 1 at a time. This is a bad time for people with pain because of the higher rate of overdoses and death.

Ask for a TENS unit.

Also diclofenac. It's for inflammation, and works very well for pain. It comes in pill form and gel to rub on. Sorry, Dcon but TT doesn't have pm access.
