That last sentence is an absolute lie, Lynn.. YOU are the angriest, most confrontational person on this site, and more than one person has told you that over the years.. Mitspa, Utah and many others have told you that. And not EVERY THING I post is full of venom. SO STOP LYING... YOUR posts are full of alot more venom and anger than any of mine are.. if i flip the argument i could say "real women dont dress and act in ways they shouldnt but weak ones often will"

but that makes no sense

but you made it sound as if any man who has ever responded to a christians womans advances (which were in bad taste) is not a real man

No, that is what protest has become. We're old enough to remember when protest had purpose and a goal. It effected change. Remember the protest we all had that got the grapeworkers unionized? By not buying grapes (or wine) for 18 months, people paid below minimum wages got better pay.

It still works like that. Target gave up the idea of transgender bathrooms when their profit margin went down 10% because people didn't go. Starbuck's President left shortly after telling everyone not to service conservatives, because their profit margins plummeted. NFL is losing money over kneelers. AND, if we give up watching the TV shows and movies produced by creeps, the industry realizes it affects their bottom line, so they stop teaching that "because they are sorry, everything is okay now." Truly, the creeps are sorry. Sorry they got outed after so many years.

Society needs a major attitude change. It's not "men think with their little brains." It's not "women need to dress modestly." Real men and real women aren't that and don't do that. Some men and women are creeps. AND some men and women are liars. When both become unacceptable, things will change. We can try to affect that change by protest, and by affecting the bottom line, or we can do that the old-fashioned way. Preach the gospel.

But accepting protest is like this, doesn't change anything.

Right. I really had to over-learn that, given I don't see out both eyes at the same time.

But my scenario was directed at someone coming headlong at me at high speeds. At that moment, where we want to go is out of the way. When someone is right handed, there brain kicks in to "turn right." When left-handed, it says, "turn left." Logically speaking, which direction is better to turn when someone is coming straight at you?

And even that answer changes, depending on which country we're in. I'd be golden if I were British. (Well, not really, because I can't imagine intentionally driving on the left side. lol)

What's the best thing to do if a car is headed right at you headlong? I assume your driving lessons taught that too, since, man! Don't want to be there on a bike! I'm feeling the road rash already.

not all sexual abuse is due to talking inappropriately or dressing less conservative.. though I would suggest it is better to refrain from such flirtatious behaviour or dressing to receive attention to certain areas of the body.. but with sadness I can be in a jumper fully covered and receive unwanted attention to certain areas.. some folks are sleezy without any wrong on the part of another.. any sign of a conversation going off is certainly cut short or returned back to subject etc..

Same post I misunderstood the first time I read it -- #48. Renewed wasn't saying we were making it up. She was talking about the string of allegations making the news in the last few months. For some reason, suddenly a bunch of women are remembering being sexually harassed long ago by the likes of Harvey Weinstein, Garrison Keillor, Al Franken, Matt Lauer, Charlie Rose, and Bill O'Reilly.

Something weird has happened, considering the these stories are up to 40 years old, yet just coming out now. Whereas, it looks like these men are guilty, it also seems the accusers have an agenda that isn't as transparent as they'd like to pretend it is.

Depleted, I still cannot find any place where I was disrespectful to Renewed. I have searched several times and just cannot find it. Of course, I found her note. All I did is acknowledge what she had gone through by "liking" the note. Should I have done something else? I am new here, and the only thing I have is a "like" button, no matter what I am thinking. As a result, I "like" things that are very horrifying to me, having on my page no other choice, just to acknowledge or agree with the writer. I would really appreciate it if you can tell me if my page is malfunctioning. Thank you!!

Yeah it doesn't mean you necessarily"agree" with someone's posts,I have been criticized because I like some posts that "have truth in them".

The like button is fine.. :) You also have the rep button for posts that you feel deserve one.. Bottom left, star-shaped icon.. The triangle with the ! in it is to report inappropriate posts..
