Close all but one (1) of these smaller windows. "Grab" the corners of the remaining window with your cursor and "stretch" it to the desired size but do NOT maximize it! Now close the resized window.

The resized window MUST be the last window closed in order for its size to be remembered.
That was one of the first things I tried.... never has worked.

Somebody else added this step:

Click the “X” in the top corner while holding down the Ctrl key.

That would be after enlarging the single frame screen :)

Since I got Win 10, I have put in at least four hours trying to figure out how to make it open fullsize. Nothing works.

My browser opens full size, but pretty much everything else just opens up partially (except my movie player), which is fine, because I am using my computer to be here, mostly, as well as researching things online, again for here mostly, Bible study related things, but also other recreational pursuits, like youtube occasionally, for instance. Does your browser open full size?

How do you enlarge the page to full size? Double click the upper bar?

My browser also opens FULL. But I hardly EVER use that. (Maybe twice a year) I want my WINDOWS to open FULL.

I want to go to a shortcut icon to this forum on my desktop and have it open CC full-size when I click on the icon.

Willie, doesn't your browser bring you here? Whenever you are online, you are using a browser. Just make CC your browser home page. Then when you open it, instant CC :D

In fact, you could open four tabs all to different CC forums (BDF, Misc, Singles, and ?) and then set your browser to open those four forums every time you start the browser to go online :)

I don't directly access my browser.... almost never. I simply click a desktop icon. Yes, I could phony it up to work as you said, but I want EVERY ONE of the 70 or 80 icons I have on my desktop to open full-size like Win 7 used to do.

Even clicking that desktop icon, is that not your browser? Chrome or whatever? You could set the home page to CC, or have it open to multiple pages at a time, and select whichever pages including CC forums, to open every time on start up.

I used to have it maxed out at 114. I have about 15 forums in there.
Why not just save them as bookmarks for easy access and
unclutter your desktop? I have ten icons on my desktop

I work best with everything right there, one single click away.
