when I was a kid (and still sometimes now) there was a show called Mummitrollet

kinda odd, fairy- tale- ish bizzare stories... one of the character that appeared a few times was this one, called Hufsa:

I never watched that. I don't think I've ever read any of his stuff either.
 
Nah, not scarred. The Pit and the Pendulum was a crazy one and the Masque of the Red Death freaked me out the first time I heard it.
 
When I was just too young to see it, there was something on kids TV called Pompel og Pilt, now THAT was scary
 
scary stuff... didn't see it until I was a teenager (it hasn't been on TV more than twice I think, it was banned for being so scary :p)
