Great response, consider what you said, there is no disagreement in your response, yet further down fall in disagreement to protect your view, not that your view is wrong but that each of us should be fully convinced, whether we honor a day above another or whether we honor every day alike.
I'm presently retired and don't work, but this was my view all along about entering into rest "Daily, pick up your cross and follow me." Easier without the distraction of work, but would go back to work from a place of entering into rest, if involved in a relationship, as "Money answers all things" Yes it's a verse in the bible, about marriage.
Sharing with you, gained understanding of the freedom we have in Christ, to Love as He Loves, to walk after the Spirit where there is no condemnation; past our self doing the work. "Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit sais the Lord."
Deliverance from ourselves, accepting that a dead man can't fulfil the Law and if he thinks He can won't recognise Jesus as the word of God, because of pride of achievement causing him to think he is a god. Yet Jesus did not disagree, but stopped speaking in the middle of the sentence at the coma "Is it not written in your law you are God's, but you shall die like men." "You are God': become sons of God as opposed to deceived to think we become gods: the deception in the garden. The Holy Spirit doesn't revive us to make us slaves again. Also those who don't consider you Christian because of your view are also casing divisions: to be carnal is to be divided.

Walk trough the valley
Hello stillness,

Thanks for sharing. I do have a problem with what you have posted but rather type out a wall of scripture can we talk about what you have posted above?

Could I start by asking you what was the OLD Covenant to you? What made up the Old Covenant? and how is the Old Covenant different from the NEW Covenant in your view? Lets have a chat and share the scriptures what do you say?

Or we can talk about each section of your post above if you like? Let me know what you think?

May God bless you as you seek Him through His Word....
I had replied to your question but because I did not use Reply With Quote you may not have seen it.

The hold covenant was made with the friend of God, like a marriage covenant, that could only be annulled by death, signified by animals cut in half. Appears that Jesus heart was thorn in half, along with the veil of the temple when He died, while there was an earthquake and darkness; there was also a darkness that fell when the covenant was established. Genesis 15:10.
The new covenant is still about friends of God, "Whosoever will may come and drink of the water of Life freely. Also like a marriage covenant in exchange of life with God. He rises victorious and we unite with Him, following in His suffering and death to all that is not of God.

I will be going away camping on a beach for 10 days, without computer or phone.

Nice talking to you as well 7777pinacled, please forgive my typos early morning my time.

I am not sure of the point your trying to make in this post however so you may have to explain it a little further. Circumcision is a Shadow of a new heart in the New Covenant (Romans 2:28-29; Hebrew 8:10-12).

Circumcision could be performed on any day of the week because the gift of God can be received on any day of the week when someone chooses to BELIEVE the Word of God (John 3:16-21).
Awesome, yes any day.
Though the internet is an amazing intrument to bring us closer to one another in fellowship.
I still think an illustration would help...
As for the Sabbath and the cruelty of those who keep back the Word from bringing Oil upon the children
The will have their reward.
A Good sabbath
If anyone were to want to explore the terrain, i suggest instruction after the pattern.

Our fathers had the tabernacle of the testimony with them in the wilderness. It was constructed exactly as God had directed Moses, according to the pattern he had seen.

Acts 7Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
7 The cohen hagadol asked, “Are these accusations true?” 2 and Shimon (Stephen said:
Hear o Israel

“Brothers and fathers, listen to me! The God of glory appeared to Avraham avinu in Mesopotamia before he lived in Haran 3 and said to him, ‘Leave your land and your family, and go into the land that I will show you.’[a]4 So he left the land of the Kasdim and lived in Haran. After his father died, God made him move to this land where you are living now. 5 He gave him no inheritance in it, not even space for one foot;[b] yet he promised to give it to him as a possession and to his descendants after him,[c] even though at the time he was childless. 6 What God said to him was, ‘Your descendants will be aliens in a foreign land, where they will be in slavery and oppressed for four hundred years. 7 But I will judge the nation that enslaves them,’ God said, ‘and afterwards they will leave and worship me in this place.’[d]8 And he gave him b’rit-milah. So he became the father of Yitz’chak and did his b’rit-milah on the eighth day, and Yitz’chak became the father of Ya‘akov, and Ya‘akov became the father of the Twelve Patriarchs.
9 “Now the Patriarchs grew jealous of Yosef and sold him into slavery in Egypt. But Adonai was with him;[e]10 he rescued him from all his troubles and gave him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who appointed him chief administrator over Egypt and over all his household.[f]11 Now there came a famine that caused much suffering throughout Egypt and Kena‘an[g]12 But when Ya‘akov heard that there was grain in Egypt, he sent our fathers there the first time. 13 The second time, Yosef revealed his identity to his brothers,[h] and Yosef’s family became known to Pharaoh. 14 Yosef then sent for his father Ya‘akov and all his relatives, seventy-five people. 15 And Ya‘akov went down to Egypt; there he died, as did our other ancestors. 16 Their bodies were removed to Sh’khem and buried in the tomb Avraham had bought from the family of Hamor in Sh’khem for a certain sum of money.
17 “As the time drew near for the fulfillment of the promise God had made to Avraham, the number of our people in Egypt increased greatly, 18 until there arose another king over Egypt who had no knowledge of Yosef.[i]19 With cruel cunning this man forced our fathers to put their newborn babies outside their homes, so that they would not survive............

They serve at a copy and shadow of the heavenly sanctuary. That is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle, "See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain."

COLOSSIANS 2:14-17 PART 1/2 THE REAL TRUTH

The above scripture is used by the “many” to distance themselves from Gods weekly Sabbath day of the 4th commandment. This is for those that may be interested in learning the real meaning of the scriptures and not that of those leading others to break the commandments of God to follow the traditions and teachings of man over the Word of God. So, what is Col. 2{16} really talking about.?

Let's use the scriptures interpret scripture.............................

COL. 2 [16]
Let no man therefore judge you in MEAT, or in DRINK, or in respect of an HOLYDAY, or of the NEW MOON, or of the SABBATH DAY(S) <plural>:

EZEKIEL 45 [17] And it shall be the prince's part to give BURNT OFFERINGS, and MEAT OFFERINGS, and DRINK OFFERINGS, in the FEASTS, and in the NEW MOONS, and in the SABBATH(S), in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel.

Here’s a scripture, same exact order as Col 2{16}, meat, drink, holy days (feast days), new moons, Sabbath(s). No doubt what so ever these 2 scriptures are speaking of the same thing. See how that on those days there was a sin offering made. The blood of Christ is now that offering. Col.2 and Ezekiel 45 are simply speaking of the meat and drink offerings which were written in the Mosaic law contained within the ordinances which were to take place on Gods annual festivals, new moons and His annual ceremonial Sabbath days and Holy convocations (Leviticus 23).

HEBREWS 13 [9] Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be ESTABLISHED WITH GRACE; NOT WITH MEATS, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein. [10] We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle. [11] For THE BODIES OF THOSE BEASTS, WHOSE BLOOD is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. [12] WHEREFORE JESUS ALSO, THAT HE MIGHT SANCTIFY THE PEOPLE WITH HIS OWN BLOOD, suffered without the gate.

But now we are no longer under the Mosaic laws concerning the meat and drink offerings of Gods holy days, new moons and annual festival sabbaths and holy convocations. Jesus fulfilled the law. We are now under grace.

JOHN 6 [53] Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. [54] Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. [55] For MY FLESH IS MEAT INDEED, and MY BLOOD IS DRINK INDEED.

When we let scripture interpret scripture it’s very clear what Col.2 is speaking about. The meat and drink offerings of those days are no longer to be kept and no one is to judge you for not keeping them because they were shadows pointing to Jesus.

NUMBERS 28 [9] And on the Sabbath day two lambs of the first year without spot, and two tenth deals of flour for a MEAT OFFERING, mingled with oil, and the DRINK OFFERING thereof: [10] This is the burnt offering of EVERY SABBATH, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

There’s the meat and drink offerings for the monthly and annual festival sabbath days that Col.2 [16] was speaking of. This was not a weekly requirement for the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] commandment of God’s Law (Exodus 20:8-11)

EZEKIEL 46 [6] And in the day of the NEW MOON it shall be a young bullock without blemish, and six lambs, and a ram: they shall be without blemish. [7] And he shall prepare a MEAT OFFERING, an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram, and for the lambs according as his hand shall attain unto, and an hin of oil to an ephah.

The meat offering for the new moon that was spoken of in Col.2 [16].

LEVITICUS 23 [4] These are THE FEASTS OF THE LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. [5] In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is THE LORD'S PASSOVER. [6] And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the Lord: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread…… [13] And the MEAT OFFERING thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the Lord for a sweet savour: and the DRINK OFFERING thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.

In all the feast days (holy days) meat and drink offerings were written into the laws of commandments contained in the ordinances. The above scripture points out the holy day of Passover when Jesus was crucified.

HEBREWS 9 [1] Then verily THE FIRST COVENANT HAD ALSO ORDINANCES of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.... [9] WHICH WAS A FIGURE for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;[10] WHICH STOOD ONLY IN MEATS AND DRINKS, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.[12] NEITHER BY THE BLOOD OF GOATS AND CALVES, BUT BY HIS OWN BLOOD he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Once again, the 1st covenant had ordinances which stood only in meat and drinks which were a figure! A shadow!

EPH.2 [15] HAVING ABOLISHED in his flesh the enmity, even the LAW OF COMMANDMENTS CONTAINED IN ORDINANCES; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;[16] And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

COL. 2 [13] And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; [14] BLOTTING OUT THE HANDWRITING OF ORDINANCES that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

ISAIAH 24 [5] The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, CHANGED THE ORDINANCE, broken the everlasting covenant.[6] Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

But in this “Day of the Lord” scripture it seems the many will go on believing what they’ve been taught by their sunday mourning pulpiteers. They will continue to believe the commandments mentioned in Eph.2 and Col. 2 are the 10 commandments and not the law of commandments contained in the ordinances

The “many” claim that the sabbath was the shadow of Christ. But what do the scriptures say

COL.2 [14] BLOTTING OUT THE HANDWRITING OF ORDINANCES that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;[15] And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.[16] Let no man therefore judge you in MEAT, or in DRINK, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:[17] WHICH ARE A SHADOW OF THINGS TO COME; but the body is of Christ.

To be continued...................
"The above scripture is used by the “many” to distance themselves from Gods weekly Sabbath day of the 4th commandment."

The particular word you used in the beginning of your statement is an execelent subject.
I was wondering if you were putting together a ministry to do missionary work?

As for the Ark and the Distance,...

Breaking God's Sabbath would be to deny HIM who loves me. I am now free to love him because he first loved me. I follow Him because I love him. Do you love Jesus trofimus?
Hi LGF,

You know I am happy to talk with you and I hope you know I mean no malice.
I have an observation and that is your above quote.

"Do you love Jesus?

You have said that a few times.

I know you are focused on the Sabbath and the day it should be observed. Saturday.

It does come across as you saying that you love God because you obey the Sabbath and as a result follow him.
And those who do not then in fact they do not love Jesus.

So in a sense you come across as saying "you do not truly love Jesus because you break the Sabbath that is meant to be kept on Saturday and as a result are not following him"

This is just my observation.
I may be wrong and I am happy to hear your response for you and also others to whom I have asked this question.

Good morning (My time, just woke up) BillG,

Likewise and always nice to talk to you my friend. It is an interesting observation. This OP is indeed focused on God's LAW as well as the 4th commandment within the ten.

However my focus is on the Word of God and pointing all to Him <the Word> who loves all because SIN will keep ALL who practice it out of God's Kingdom. It is our duty of LOVE to help all prepare for the great day of the Lord.

God's 4th commandment is the obvious one, but ANY of the commandments that are KNOWINGLY BROKEN and NOT REPENTED OF will keep all who brake them OUT of God's Kingdom.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance for the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand.

Our duty of LOVE to God and our fellow man is to help all that have ears to hear and eyes to see to enter God's Kingdom and to FOLLOW in the footsteps of HIM who LOVE ALL. MANY are CALLED but FEW are CHOSEN because men love darkness rather then light because their deeds are evil. For every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But HE THAT DOES TRUTH comes to the light <Jesus the Word of GOD>, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Who am I? I am no one and only the chiefest of those who sin WITHOUT HIM. He is all and LOVES all and is calling all in LOVE. Those that KNOW him will hear his voice <the Word of God>.

I love Him now only because He FIRST LOVED me. You see it was me that put my LORD on the TREE that should have been for me so that NOW I am free to LOVE him because because he FIRST LOVED me. He opened my eye to see that By His stripes he died to save a wretch like me. Now because of LOVE I SEE I am free to FOLLOW HIM who first LOVED me.

God's LAW and God's LOVE are one. It is LOVE within the heart that God's LAW is written and LOVE is the fulfilling of God's LAW to those who through FAITH FOLLOW the Word of GOD.

Those who brake God's LAW are not yet FREE to LOVE him as he first LOVED them. IF you do not LOVE another as he first loved you then you are still in your SINS and do not KNOW him who LOVES ALL. If you find that your FAITH DOES NOT have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE then you are still IN your SINS and do not KNOW him or LOVE HIM. Many it is written honor him with their lips but their heart belongs to something else.

In times of IGNORANCE God does not hide from you. HE calls all who have ears to hear his voice to FOLLOW HIM in the LIGHT because he is IN THE LIGHT. God is a SPIRIT and those that worship him must worship him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH. He is the WORD of GOD. God's sheep hear his VOICE and follow wherever God's lamb will lead them...

IF you find you are LOST there is no need to despair. God's LAW will lead you back to Him not by following it but by using it as a mirror to see yourself and HIM who LOVES you.

BillG, Do you know the scriptures quoted in the post above?

This is why Jesus says; If you LOVE me KEEP my COMMANDMENTS. It is the sign of those who through their FAITH are now free to LOVE

(this question like the question on love is not meant in a negative way, only to point all to God's Word)

Jesus said MY COMMANDMENTS not the ten commandments. He knew the ten were for Israel. That is why He pared them down in His teaching. He never mentioned the fourth commandment as having to be observed.

Hello valiant, if you are saying that Jesus commandments does not include the 10 commandments you may need to study your bible further. Here are some scriptures you may have overlooked......

Jesus taught the 10 commandments…..

1. Jesus kept God’s Law (10 commandments) and said the Law and the prophets would not pass away (Matt 5:17-18)
2. Jesus taught others to follow the 10 commandments (Mark 10:17-21)
3. Jesus taught that Love is the fulfilling (doing) of God’s Law (10 commandments Matt 22:36-40)
4. If we break God’s Law by following man-made traditions we are not following God (Matt 15:3-9)
5. Jesus says if we commit sin we are a servant of sin and he has come to free us from sin (John 8:32-36)
6. Jesus taught if you love God you will keep God’s Law and abide in His Love (John 14:15; 15:10
7. If anyone is breaking any of God’s commandments and teaching others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven <least = lost> (Matt 5:19)
8. No one can obey God’s Law producing the fruit of obedience of ourselves and unless we abide in Jesus we can do nothing (John 15:4-10)

Hope this helps.....

May God bless you as you seek Him through His Word.

Hello stillness,

Thanks for your post. I enjoyed reading it.

I liked reading what you have shared above generally because it is indeed ONLY through LOVE that we are free to LOVE another and it is LOVE that is the fulfilling of God's LAW in us as we by FAITH walk in HIS SPIRIT (the Word).

If we trust in ourselves over the Word of God we can not KNOW him who LOVES and and are not free to LOVE. We can only LOVE him when we have our eyes open to see that it is not us but HIM that is all in all and that by his stripes we are healed. This has nothing to do with us except to humbly accept the GIFT that God freely gives to all who BELIEVE. Only those who FOLLOW however are those that hear His Voice.

I would only add that the days you refer to from Romans 14 that we are to be fully convinced of is referring to the shadow Mosaic laws that have either been fulfilled or yet to be fulfilled from the Jewish annual festivals and fasting. There is no reference God's LAW (4th commandment) in this chapter. Or any reference to the 4th commandment in the whole book or Romans except indirectly through references to God's LAW (10 commandments)

The Word in John 1 is translated from the Greek word Logos and means “Spokesman.”

Any dealings with man in the old test. was The Word, that became Christ.

Yes I do.
But do you think that everyone has a different capacity to love based on life experiences?

Good question BillG,

Once we come to Jesus through FAITH he frees us from SIN to LOVE. It is only the beginning however of our walk in Him to be like him who loves us. Like the great example you gave in your testimony of hate that I enjoyed you sharing earlier.

This is only the beginning however as our Lord is taking us out of the WORLD. We GROW in Grace day by day through the KNOWLEDGE of HIM who LOVES us. When we first come to Jesus we are made perfect before him for the SINS that we know about. This is only the beginning of our walk and call to FOLLOW him and to take up our cross.

AS we grow in the knowledge o f HIM who LOVES us he will reveal things in o ur life we did NOT KNOW were SINS that in IGNORANCE He winks at but now when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth is come calls all men everywhere to REPENT and BELIEVE the Gospel (good news the Word). This is called growing in grace and is why it is written as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord so walk ye in Him. We grow in grace the very same way as we receive him.

This is why Paul says; This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance; that Christ Jesus has come into the World to save SINNERS of whom I am CHIEF.

2, Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4, Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5, And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6, And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7, And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

8, For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Many are called but few are chosen however because men love darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. They honor God with their lips but they have not given him their heart and do not take up their cross and follow him (die to sin in repentance)

This is why it is written that some start off following him but many give up because they lose sight of the Savior and wish to hold on to the SINS that God has revealed to them that they need to repent of in order to have a closer walk with him who loves them. This is why it is written NARROW is the WAY and few there be that find it. (the Word).

and again..........

Hebrews 10
26, For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins,27, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

NONE of us like so see our SINS when God reveals them to us but he does so in LOVE because he wants to set us FREE to LOVE as he first LOVED us and he knows that SIN will keep all who KNOWINGLY PRACTICE it OUT of God's Kingdom.

This why the Gospel of the KINGDOM is REPENT for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND.

Great question BillG

May God bless you as you continue in His WORD and Follow him who LOVES us.

Walk trough the valley

To support what is written, "Let us not judge one another any more but judge this that no one cause a brother to stumble."

“He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.”
We are not walking in the Light by trying to fix others, neither could we, It would be dictatorship. Jesus did not try to fix the religious leaders that opposed Him and tried to make Him honor their Sabbath. God doesn't need our help, we need His help.
To say that if you don't worship like I do by the Law that condemns us, I judge you as a sinner: you don't Love God.
Read between the Lines: we are all sinners. There would be nothing wrong with your view of a day of rest, if you did not impose it on others; your imposing shows it has not given you rest. Your warning Christians not to follow you. We hear that: If you don't suffer the way I do in still trying to fulfil the law that condemns us, your not in our cult that thinks every one else is wrong. This will be my last post for 10 days. have to get ready to disappear.

Jesus says; If any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejects me, and receives not my words, hath one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

We are sinners and cannot judge anyone. Only God's Word can judge another this is why it is written; Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. There is only one good (Righteous) and that is God. This is why the Word of God will judge us all in the last days.

All who follow him who LOVES all have a duty of LOVE to GOD and their FELLOW MAN to preach the GOSPEL (the WORD) because SIN will keep all who practice it OUT of God's KINGDOM. God's sheep hear HIS VOICE (the WORD = RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT)

He that says he KNOWS HIM and DOES NOT KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS is a LIAR and the truth in NOT IN HIM (1 John 2:3-4)
....................................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten ( Exodus 20:8-11 ) and like any of the ten, if we knowingly break it when God ask s us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

I know that Sabbath keeping is the 4th commandment. Can you cite any place where Jesus taught or commanded Sabbath keeping specifically? I believe you cannot; because I don't believe that He ever made an issue of it.
If we are to follow him, we ought not to make an issue of it either.

Hello MarcR great question what does God's Word say...........

What did Jesus and the Apostles teach about the Sabbath in the New Testament?

1. It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56)
2. Jesus made the Sabbath for all mankind (Hebrews 1:2; John 1:1-3; 14; Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:16-17; Mark 2:27)
3. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath (Mark 2:28)
4. If you do not believe and follow God you cannot enter His Sabbath rest (Hebrews 4)
5. It is one of God’s 10 commandments we break it we are guilty or breaking all (James 2:8-12)
6. Breaking it is sin (1 John 3:4)
7. God’s true followers keep it Holy as God commanded (Rev 14:12; Rev 22:14; Eze 20:20)
8. Jesus is our example and he kept the Sabbath (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; John 2:6; Matt 16:24; 1 Cor 11:1; Eph 5:1-21; Pet 2:20-22)
9. The Apostle kept the Sabbath (Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Rev 1:10)

I would however follow this up with another question....

Why would Jesus need to give the 4th commandment again when God's people already have it and have been keeping it for thousands of years already and like all the other Ten commandments God had already given it to His people?

God's Word says that God's LAW (the TEN commandments) are forever and are all through the NT writings. I am happy to share some scripture if this is helpful?

There is not one scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place.

May God bless you as you seek Him through His Word.
