Have you not read in the Law how on the Sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath and are guiltless?
I tell you, something greater than the temple is here.

(Matthew 12:5-6)
Numbers 28:9-10

"On the Sabbath day, two male lambs a year old without blemish, and two tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with oil, and its drink offering: this is the burnt offering of every Sabbath, besides the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.

Jesus Christ calls this 'the Law' though some people call it 'mere ordinances'
Wonder who knows better...?

Which one of you does this every week, faithfully obeying the Law of the Sabbath? I've not yet been to an SDA assembly; is this what they do in lieu of communion...? or maybe they don't really keep sabbath. I'll have to make a point of breaking the Law by travelling to one, one Saturday soon, and finding out for myself.

Indeed, why is David forgiven for murder and adultery without offering a sacrifice?
Because he repented and confessed his sin and God was faithful to forgive him his sins ans to cleanse him from all unrighteousness.

Every seventh-day sabbath, kill two lambs.

That's the Law.
Not 'ordinance' according to Messiah. Law.

He was clearly under Law. Why didn't he have to do what the Law says is required?

Law doesn't say repent and confess. You're ((once again lol)) confusing Christ with the Law.

If your FAITH does not have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE then you do not have saving FAITH. Sin will keep all who practice it out of God's Kingdom (James 2:18; 20 ; 26; Hebrews 10:26-27).

You quote Galatians 1:6-9 in reference to another gospel but as has been pointed out earlier through the scriptures you do not KNOW what the Gospel is. If you do not know what the Gospel how will you have a light unto your path? If you do not know the Word of God how can you teach it to others? Won't those who follow the blind both fall into a ditch?

The other Gospel is one that tries to do away with God's LAW (10 commandments)

Because it is only through the Law of God (10 commandments) that any of us have a knowledge of what sin is (1 John 3:4; Rom 3:20; 24; James 2:11; Romans 7:7).

If we do away with God's Law we have no knowledge of sin. If we have no knowledge of sin we have no need of a savior. If we have no need of a savior we have no salvation. If we have no salvation we are lost.

"For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law." (Rom 2:12).
Brother LGF,

to you follow half sabbath law is obedience, to me follow half sabbath law is disobedience, because Jesus already give new commandment.

If there is new commandment, follower old commandment must stop practising old C or I call It not obey the law

o ya, I say half because the complete sabbath law say: violator must be kill, and your church not kill violator

Yes it is the Mosaic law for remission of sins that has been nailed to the cross with our sins which were shadows pointing to Jesus (Colossians 2). This is what the OP is about, but you have not listened neither do you understand because you have closed your eyes to see and ears to hear so hearing you now hear, and do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not perceive with your heart to BELIEVE and FOLLOW Him who is calling you who's Words you have rejected.

No my friend that is not God's LAW. This is the Mosaic law for remission of sins. The shadows pointing to Jesus that were fulfilled at the cross in him who they were pointing to * Colossians 2:14.

God's 4th commandment is just as God has said it...............

Exodus 20
8, Remember the SABBATH DAY, to KEEP IT HOLY. <Why? Because God made it Holy for mankind and commands us to keep it as a Holy day) 9, Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: 10, But the SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH of the LORD thy God: <WHY?> 11, For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the SEVENTH DAY: wherefore the LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH DAY, and HALLOWED IT.

Only God's Word is true and we should follow Him who calls all because it is written....

Psa 32:5
I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgave the iniquity of my sin..

Pro 28:13
He that covers his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy.

Act 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Act 3:19
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

1Jo 2:1
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) and like any of the ten, if we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

There is not one scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

It is hard to kick against the pricks.......

Hello Brother Jackson, if you do not know what the Old Covenant is how can you know what the NEW Covenant is?
So we have to become Jews first, before we can be Christian?

That sounds oddly familiar... ;)

You are totally not answering why David was not judged by the Law. Not at all.

Do you not look for Jesus in the scripture when you read it? ((i thought this one was obvious))

Not at all there are only BELIEVERS and UNBELIEVERS in God's Israel, because it is written....

Romans 2
28, For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29, But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
Rom 10:12
For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

Gal 3:28

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Col 3:11
Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Romans 9
6, Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7, Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8, That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
9, For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son.

God's Israel are those that BELIEVE and FOLLOW the WORD of GOD. Those that do not BELIEVE and FOLLOW the Word of God are the UNBELIEVERS. It is the UNBELIEVERS in God's Word that have no part in the Kingdom of Heaven because they are still in their SINS because they have rejected the gift of God's dear son. (Hebrews 10:26-27; Romans 6:23)

................

Try reading the post I sent you again... because he repented and confessed his sins just like the OT and NT scriptures I posted said.

Now how about you answering the questions I posted you that you ignored in post # 1970 (Linked here)?

Now if your interpretation of God's Word is correct please show me one scripture that SAYS................

1, God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and and we are now commanded to Keep Sunday as a Holy day?

2, Where does it say in God's Word the Jesus is a Sabbath?

3, The Sabbath (seventh day) was ever changed from the seventh to the first day of the week?

4, Where we are told to keep the first day of the week holy?

5, Where the first day of the week (Sunday) is ever called a holy day?

6, That says that Jesus ever kept the first day (Sunday)?

7, That tells us to keep the first day in honour of the resurrection of Christ?

8, Where the first day is ever given any sacred name?

9, That affirms that any of the apostles ever kept the first day as the Sabbath?

10, From any apostolic writings that authorizes Sunday observance as the Sabbath of God?

11, Where we are told not to work on the first day of the week?

12, That says the seventh day is no longer God's Sabbath day?

13, That says the seventh day Sabbath is ABOLISHED?

14, Where the apostles ever taught any convert to keep the first day of the week as a Sabbath?

15, Where the first day was ever appointed to be kept as the Lord's Day?

16, Where the first day of the week is ever called the Lord's Day?

17, That says that the first day of the week was ever sanctified and hallowed as a day of rest?

18, That says that the Father or the Son (Jesus) rested on the first day of the week?

19, That says that Jesus, Paul or any other of the apostles taught anyone to observe the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

20, That calls the seventh day the “Jewish Sabbath” or one text that calls Sunday the “Christian Sabbath”?

21, Telling man to keep the first day of the week holy or to worship or rest on the first day of the week?

22, Authorizing anyone to set aside God's Sabbath and observe any other day?

23, Showing any of the apostles keeping the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

24, Authorizing someone to set aside the fourth Commandment and observe any other day of the week?

25, Where any apostle taught us to keep the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

26, Declaring that the seventh day is no longer the Eternal Sabbath day?

27, Where Sunday is now appointed to be kept as the New Testament Sabbath or holy day?

If you cannot answer any of the above, you may want to consider what it is you believe. Only the BELIEVERS and FOLLOWERS of GOD's Word are His people. Those who continue practicing KNOWN SIN will not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Who should we obey God or man?

How do you know that he did not offer a sacrifice according to the LAW for his SINS?

He was clearly under Law. Why didn't he have to do what the Law says is required?
Law doesn't say repent and confess. You're ((once again lol)) confusing Christ with the Law.
Where does it say that David did not do what the Mosaic laws for remission of sin required in God's Word?

Actually the OLD Covenant Mosaic laws for remission of sin does require repentance and confession of sin (Leviticus 1; Leviticus 5:5-6; 26:40-43; Number 5:6-7; Leviticus 4:32-35; Lev 26; 28 etc)

Leviticus 5
5, And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing:
6, And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.

Psalm 32:1-11
A Maskil of David. Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man against whom the Lord counts no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit. For when I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was dried up as by the heat of summer. Selah I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah

Proverbs 28:13
Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

Psalm 51:1-19
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet went to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin! For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you may be justified in your words and blameless in your judgment. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me

Ezekiel 18
20, The soul that sins, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
21, But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
22, All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.
23, Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?

People in the Old Covenant were saved the same way that we are today and that is by Faith in God's Word see all of Hebrews 11.

So yep people were saved in the Old Covenant the same way they are saved in the NEW and that is by repentance and confession of SIN and FAITH in the Word of God that by following Gods instructions they were forgiven.
