It is written, and always true. The Written code kills, the Spirit gives life......

I wish Trump would stop using the emotional pain that someone might be going through to make Political points.

I am too old and too tired to deal with a phone that requires three different businesses, with which I must personally deal, to make it work.

It is hard to have some disaster occur nearby and not be able to give either blood or plasma. I feel guilty but remind myself that it cannot be helped.

* Miley Cyrus is considered to be an American "star."
* Americans watch shows that deify satan, a show that tries to make it a fun little guy, and shows that try to make witchcraft and demonology attractive.
* People complain about those who finally have the nerve to stand up and say, "Me, too," attempting to silence them.
* Search for something on your computer, and you will often run into shameless, blatant, crude photos, etc.
* We support the murder of unborn babies in America but beg for money to save the komarakiona eatoni, an American earthworm.
* Then we wonder and complain about those WE voted into office.
We are certainly a confused people.

Wow, I am negative tonight.

I do! I do! :D

But then my head immediately tells me, "But most American chocolate comes from slave labor!"

Unnnnnnhhhhhhhh!

Yeah. I am not usually like this, so I've asked myself why. South of here, a train derailed. People died, and many were hurt. I can't give blood or plasma anymore, and it really bothers me. So I will feel better when I figure out something else I can do.

Someone said something like this: It's so nice when negative people go away; it's like the trash took itself out."

Forgive me, please. :)

You are sounding like Mark Twain..his good side. Are you from Missouri?

People do not seem to understand the pain of others until it happens to them; then they wonder where they can find anty sympathy.

Happily for me, most of the horrible happenings in my life were as a child, and children, though they do not understand already know womewhat how not to hold things agains assailants. God is always in charge, and dHe lets us know it, amen.

Hee-hee-hee! THIS made me smile!

In fact, I DID live in Missouri from age 13 until 19.5.

Were you there, and close enough to St. Louis in 1969, to feel the November earthquake? That was my wedding day! And because of the earthquake, my bridesmaid accidentally locked me out of my house while in my slip, an hour before the wedding!

Thank you for the smile! I needed that! :D

Well I'll swan(some go so far as to say I'll swanee.), what a funny and warm story. You must have been beautiful there locked out. Pardon me while I imagine you in your shoes the slip (a full slip of course) and with your bridal veil on...ñthat lat part is my poetic license at work.

Did you know the greates earthquake ever was on a fault just south of St. Louis I believe, down by New Madrid, Mo? It changed the course of the Mississippi River creating earthquake lake also. It actually rang church bells as far away as Boston, Mass. Were it to occur today, it would be disasterous. I am glad your weddingday managed to go throught.

I was born up in Randolph County, Moberly to be exact, but my familly immediately moved to Californiea where I greww up...but I ued to go back to Mo. to work summers in the farm field, and I truly enjoyed. I do not know St. Lous well though.

Wow! I remember little snippets of the Missouri river story. Thank you for telling more of it! Amazing!

Yes -- full slip! :D No cell phones to call someone for help! :D

I was born in California, lived there until I was 8.5, and moved -- kicking and screaming -- to the South. Moved back to California a few years after the fore mentioned husband died :( but married an old friend from Missouri while back home in CA.

What is this: we are both drawn toward earthquake country??

Missy, I am so sorry you are down right now, and sorry that things are stressful because your mother isn't well. That must be hard. When my first mother-in-law was sick, I remember how hard it was. I will pray for both of you. :)

Now why did you have to go and say that? I was raised in Long Beach, but even though there were several earthquakes while growing up, I slept through the worst of them. My mother's bed was on casters and she said she awoke to be going all around the room in one quake, and it knowked over a small building outside, but I slept right on thorough. Now I live in a ton calle Torrevieja in Spain, an guess what?! There are tremors throughout the year here.d the town is in it second location after having been destroyed in , guess what!, an earthquake.. And so it goes... God bless you, and stay away fro shakies.
