Since when does God copy the devil? Since God has a plan & purpose for everything, tell me what His purpose is in using these cards when He proved in scripture He mostly uses SAINTS?

We are God's ambassadors. It's our job, not a deck of cards.

BTW, when did you get elected to stand up for these false doctrines & practices?

And, WHO did your electing?
If you can, give me a straight, simple, honest answer..... Do you really believe the wizards of Pharaoh were doing occultish work by the power of Satan when they threw down their staffs, and they became serpents?

how bout y'all give us one of those answers yourself and tell us where you got the idea we cannot tell whether something is of God or not?

and don't pass Gamaliel on a plate because he was not a Christian filled with the Holy Spirit He was a Pharisee and a teacher of the law

how about some answers addressing these scriptures?

why do you state we cannot know what is and what is not of God and instead state we should just watch and see just in case?

Hosea 14:9New King James Version (NKJV)

9 Who is wise?
Let him understand these things.
Who is prudent?
Let him know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right;
The righteous walk in them,
But transgressors stumble in them.

Romans 12:2New King James Version (NKJV)

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Philippians 1:9-11New King James Version (NKJV)

9 And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, 10 that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, 11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

James 1:5New King James Version (NKJV)

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

II Corinthians
12 But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast. 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

1 John 4:1King James Version (KJV)
4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

I, for one, would like a straight, simple honest answer why you seem to choose to bypass scripture and give the opposite advice

Well, Ok, we see you cannot give a straight, simple, honest answer to that straight-forward question.

I find it commendable that Shrume could do it with one word. (I happen to agree with him) I wonder if anyone else can?

I'm off to church in a few minutes, but I am looking forward to reading when I get back.

You know very well that I was not defending Tarot cards. (I even specifically said that in no uncertain terms in one of my posts.) I was standing against the damning of people who honestly do believe their warped understanding of Scripture is God telling them to reach this entire lost group of "very unusual" people by using methods of communicating with them that they can understand and relate to. For anyone to approach them at one of their New Age Fairs (where these Bethel people seem to go to find them) wearing a three-piece suit and reciting Scripture at them from a Scofield would be a sure way to guarantee turning them off to your message.

My God has not told me that I have the right to deliberately condemn either of those groups... the weirdo church people, nor the freaky New Agers. But, he did tell me to resist hatred in any form. And these websites are nothing less.
[/QUOTE]

Yet you took that right anyways. You condemned every site that exposes the sins of these groups, these absolute heresies. They did the right thing, whether for the right reasons or not, and you condemned them for it.

Neither have you said the least little thing against the obvious heresies of these groups, while a faithful christian would be angry over such false teachings.

That says volumes about you.

You seem to be a bit confused as to what the word, "condemn" means.

I love my husband! :)

I just presented this whole thing to him and asked his opinion if this could be God.

And he said, " I think they are just being all things to all people. Yes!

1 Corinthians 9:22 To the weak I became weak in order to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some of them.

1 Corinthians 9:23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel in order to have a share in its blessings.

That’s taking it too far, SoF. We don’t become drunk to win drunkards for Christ. We don’t become thieves to win criminals.

We don’t use tarot cards, or “Christian Destiny Cards” to win spiritualists.

There’s no biblical way to justify what that church in the OP is doing. They don’t know what they’re messing with.

Its what others have labeled them Kayla. As I said, they are seeking the anointing of the past revivalists.

Ive never thought for myself that I want any other anointing except for "putting on the Lord Jesus Christ". So don't label the messenger to be as the message please.

I ascribe zeal of the young to these things.
Do you know what I call someone who go to graves to "seek the annointing"?

Rebels, because they try to skip past God & do their own thing.

And yet Elisha went directly to Elijah to ask for the anointing the elder had.

Prior to this post, I have posted 49 times in this thread. I really would like you to FULLY QUOTE any posts where I have "condemned" anyone. I identified some hate sites, and I insulted one person who was talking foolishness he knew nothing about.... But, I have "condemned" no one. (BTW, I can list the #'s of my posts if you can't find them.)

You know Shrume, I don't drink, have never drank alcohol before I was saved, never did any illegal drugs, was raising babies while finishing high school. Married young.

But...when visiting the mother of a friend of my husbands, she offered me a glass of wine. I would of said no, but Holy Spirit spoke to me and said take it, she will be offended if you don't. So I did.

Wish I had remembered this earlier. :)

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with drinking. Christians are not to get drunk. I bet you didn’t get drunk, right? :)

There’s a lot wrong with using things of the occult.

My wife just asked a question. She wanted to know if ANYONE (pro or con) had ever even seen one of these cards, or had ever witnessed them being used.

I thought that was a worthwhile query.

I thought it was very wrong to drink then Shrume.

I can't say about these cards. I haven't been there to see. All I know is what they say Shrume.

They say they are tools to use to prophesy over the people. I don't understand it. And I've never had anything to do with tarot cards. Don't know how they work.

Would you stand on your head just out of the blue, just because Holy Spirit told you too? Or would you rebuke the voice as the devil?

One was tested on this. She obeyed, and it resulted in a girl getting saved, because she had said, she would believe if someone is standing on their head. She goes through a door, and there she is.

Ive told this before so if you heard, forgive my repetition.

If they are using cards for anything it is wrong, for all power and benefits come from the Spirit.

The Holy Spirit guides us in to all truth, and shows us things to come.

God gives us peace,love,and joy.

We do not use physical objects thinking there is power there, for there is not. That is what people do of the occult, because they are in to nature worship.

And the thing with cards is you can do them over, and it would have a different outcome, but if it is truth the outcome will be the same every time.

Like tarot cards lay them out,get a prediction, shuffle them, lay them out,a different prediction, but if it is truth then it would be the same every time.

Cards are no better than a magic eight ball they shake and get an answer.

The new age movement interpretation of the Bible that is based on the occult, nature worship, exalts people, spiritual evolution through nature, and Jesus is not Lord and Savior, but a good teacher(1 Timothy 4:1-5),and the new age movement is the future for this sinful world, and the time they will not want to listen to the truth of the Bible, but according to their own lusts.

With the cards it has to start some time when people who claim Christianity start looking at things from an occult point of view, and one thing leads to another, and the Bible says they some will depart from the faith, and will turn to an occult viewpoint of the Bible, until it is standard procedure in all the world as a unified religious system.

We would use cards for nothing that has to do with Christianity, and there is no benefit,or power,or truth there, but a waste of time, unless they want to use cards to play Euchre,or Spades,or Hearts,or a card game like that.
