More nonsense from those who do not understand the Rapture. There is no such thing as a "rapture theory". But there is such a thing as a Bible doctrine about the Resurrection/Rapture of the saints.

What are the DIFFERENCES between when Jesus comes "like a thief in the night," and when He comes "and EVERY EYE shall see Him" and He comes down upon the Mount of Olives, and it SPLITS?
When Jesus comes as a thief in the night means that there will not be a warning when the resurrection happens,which Jesus warned people that claim Him to watch for they will not know when He comes,and if they are not doing right,being hypocritical when He comes then they will not get to dwell with Him,and they will have their portion with the hypocrites.
This is to separate those that claim Christ that are serious from those who are being hypocritical.
Jesus stepping down on the Mount of Olives is the battle of Armageddon,and the time that God will defeat the world,and save Israel from an invasion of the world.
The disciples asked Jesus if He was going to restore the kingdom on earth to them at that time,and Jesus said,the Father will do it in His own time,but do not worry about it,but go preach the Gospel.
The saints will be resurrected to heaven prior to the battle of Armageddon,and when the world attacks Jerusalem,the Jews,God will come back with all the saints,and fight the world,and save Israel,and the plague that shall be upon them is their flesh shall melt off their bones,which Jesus will destroy the man of sin with the brightness of His coming.
In that day the LORD shall be King over all the earth,and there shall be one LORD,and His name one.
The heathen that God spared that fought against Jerusalem have to go up year after year to Jerusalem to worship the LORD,and the kingdom restored to Israel,and no operating Gentile government,and Jesus and the saints will rule over them for 1000 years.
At the end of the 1000 years Jesus as King on earth shall be fulfilled,and heaven and earth will pass away,and the saints will go to the New Jerusalem for all eternity,which the former earth shall not be remembered,or come to mind,and will be a place where sin has never been,and sin will never be,and rebellion will never come up again.
Taking Scripture out of context and trying to make Scripture contradict Scripture is more foolishness. The prophets condemned in Ezekiel were CONCOCTING their own prophesies -- "out of their own hearts". But the Resurrection/Rapture doctrine was revealed to Paul by Divine inspiration -- the words of the Holy Spirit. So this is definitely NOT believing man but believing God (which you are failing to do).
So, you believe in MULTIPLE resurrection events in the end times then?
John 5:29 and come out--those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.
The word 'rapture' is NOT found in Scripture; Neither is the word 'Trinity' yet both are helpful concepts derived from Scripture.

He only comes as a thief to the world....2 more verses down it is clear...he does not come as a thief to those who are not in darkness.....and his body presence (parousia->coming) is as visible as lightning that strikes in the east and shines unto the west!
Confusing the Rapture with the Second Coming does not help anyone. So to remind all about the difference.
THE RAPTURE = Christ comes FOR His saints
THE SECOND COMING = Christ comes WITH His saints.
And it is at the second coming that He is visible to the whole world.
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be...And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (Mt 24:27,30).
Coming in "the clouds of Heaven" speaks of the clouds of saints and angels surrounding Christ at His second coming, when He comes WITH His saints.
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. (Jude 14,15).
Wrong......they are one and the same event....the word Parousia proves this and the Grandsville Sharp employed in 2nd Thessalonians 2......

That would be a physical and spiritual IMPOSSIBILITY. Between the Rapture and the Second Coming we have the Marriage of the Lamb.
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready...And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. (Rev 19:7,14).
Can you please EXPLAIN the usage of the word "ESCAPE" in most bible versions of this scripture passage?
Luke 21:36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."

Jesus was clear...when you see certain events take place flee.....and the word KEEP means to guard from loss, injury or harm and is applied unto the faithful-> Revelation
My view.....post great tribulation/pre-wrath ingathering at the Parousia (coming) of Jesus......
Here's my understanding of how things will play out:
1) the rapture of the Christian church will take place. Could happen any time. Every Christian, dead or alive, will be gathered to Christ. We will meet him in the air, and become immortal, with our new spiritual bodies. We will be with Jesus in heaven for 7 years while the trib plays out down here. I believe this time period will be when Christians will be judged for rewards.
2) the tribulation will commence, and will last 7 years. During the trib, the seal, trumpet, thunder, and bowl judgments will occur. There will be people who will come to believe during the trib. Life will not be easy for them. They will be heavily persecuted, imprisoned, and many will be put to death for their faith.
3) at the end of the trib, Jesus Christ will descend from heaven with his armies (we'll be with him), fight and defeat the anti-christ, false prophet, and those who stand with them. This is the battle of Armageddon. It will literally be a battle, with blood running as high as horses' bridles in places.
4) the "sheep and goat" judgment will happen. This is when everyone who made it alive through the trib will be gathered to Christ and judged as to whether they will be allowed into the kingdom or not. The beast and false prophet, and those not allowed into the kingdom, will be tossed into gehenna (the lake of fire) and destroyed. The devil and his angels will be imprisoned.
5) Jesus will set up the millennial kingdom. The earth will be restored to a state of paradise, and become a wonderful place to live again (as it was in Eden). No wars, no famines, no more thorns and thistles, animal nature will be changed, everyone will know God, etc.
6) concurrently with #5, the resurrection of the just will happen. This is when all OT believers, and those who will die for their faith during the trib, will be raised from the dead and granted entrance into the kingdom.
7) the millennial kingdom will play out. It will be 1000 years long, and Jesus Christ will be ruling the entire world from Jerusalem. It will be a wonderful time. Christians and those who were raised in the resurrection of the just will be in their resurrected bodies, and be immortal. Those who participated in the "sheep and goat" judgment will still be mortal. They will procreate, and die. These are the ones who will multiply and fill the earth. They will also have the capacity to sin, which is why Jesus will need to rule with a "rod of iron". Justice will reign.
8) at the end of the millennial kingdom, the devil will be released from his prison and deceive a great number of the mortals populating the kingdom that despite living in paradise, things aren't good enough, and he will convince many of them to rebel against Jesus' rule. You forgot "CATCH AWAY," which is how the word "rapture" is frequently translated!
Ezekiel 13 is referring to the day of the Lord, which the Lord has promised to keep those who overcome out of. It will be a time of fierce anger and wrath, which believers are not appointed to suffer. The unprecedented wrath of God is coming upon this earth to punish the arrogant and the proud and all of those who have continued to reject Christ as Lord and savior.
The gathering of the church (catching away) is a promise from the Lord. And since scripture also says that we are not appointed to suffer God's wrath, i.e. that wrath that is coming or any wrath, then the church must be gathered prior to said wrath and that because Jesus already took upon himself the wrath that every believer deserves, satisfying it completely.
"My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
In the scripture above, Jesus told his disciples and therefore all believers, that he was going to the Father's house (heaven) to prepare places for us. Then he said that he would be coming back to take us to be with him, which would be at the Father's house to those dwelling places, that where the Lord is we may be also. This has not yet taken place and is therefore still imminent. 1 Thes.4:13-18 is a detailed account of the Lord's returning to gather the church according to his promise. Anyone who is not anticipating or looking forward to the Lord's return or is speaking against it, is not believing in his promise.
Regarding the video, it is not information that you have personally studied, but you're directing us to someone else's study. That is not a good way to contend for the word of God. You need to do your own study and know for yourself what God's word says instead of referring people to someone else's teaching.
I completely agree with Nehemiah6. If Matt.24:29-31 was representing the gathering of the church it would put the living church through the entire wrath of God, which we are not appointed to suffer. Then you have to explain how Rev.19:6-8 reveals the bride/church receiving her fine linen at the wedding of the Lamb with her following the Lord out of heaven riding on white horses in verse 14.
One of the on-going problems of eschatology is not recognizing that there is a difference between the event of the gathering of the church vs. the event of the Lord's return to the earth to end the age. The major issue is that the church cannot go through the time of God's wrath. And since that time period must take place prior to Christ's return to the earth, then the church must be removed prior to said wrath. Why would the Lord build his church and then send it through his wrath? Therein lies another issue which is, those not recognizing the difference between the trials and tribulation that Jesus said believers would have for his name sake vs. God's coming wrath, which will be poured out upon this earth directly and purposely from Him. The latter is the one that he has promised that we will not be exposed to and that because he already took upon himself the wrath that all believers deserve.

Well put! I am in agreement with everything except some of #9, as there is nothing in scripture that states that those thrown in the lake of fire become ash. This is everlasting fire, aion and aion and there is no mention of it ending, either for Satan and his angels nor for mankind who follow him. There is just no scripture that demonstrates temporary punishment in the lake of fire.
