Yeah Jesus was sinless I think blue lady bug's talking about that he still "had the possibility of doing carnal things while in the flesh yet wholly God".
To me carnal means self. If is when you put self over others/ Jesus never did this,. Time and time again, even when his disciples urged him to He refused.

What I need, a cookie won't fix.. :/
True. You need to get it straight in your mind that Jesus never sinned; not once did He break any of the commandments. Being tempted is not in itself sin.

Jesus had a carnal mind. He was fully human so He had ALL the human emotions. Pride, anger, envy, etc... He may not have acted on all of them, but He DID possess them..

Just because He was nicer about it doesn't mean that He couldn't have used stronger words like s**t, instead of "dung" or excrement. Who knows, maybe He did. The bible does not tell us about every single thing He did or said..

The words "dung" and "excrement" are in the bible. Dung refers to animal poop, and excrement refers to human waste. Oh, and the word "ass" is in the bible, also. In reference to a donkey, but it's also a reference to a body part.

Now give it a rest. You've been raving on and off all day about the atrocities of using harsh language to get through to people. You think pastors don't swear? I'll bet you 9 out of 10 of them swear like a sailor at home.. lol
You see the Lord differently blue. Am not in agreement either here. Not all of us went to Sunday school, or vacation bible school in our childhood. I think we talked one time about your background. A bit more reading in the gospels might be helpful.

And am sure that most Pastors do not swear like sailors. This is all just over BS. Literally.

No, people are called legalistic because when they issue a call of accountability to other self professed Pastor and teachers, and those self professed pastors and teachers get upset.

obviously i can't speak for everyone and i may be quite wrong myself, but it seems to me that the problem arises when one believer starts telling another believer that they either must do {a, b, c... } or else they are not saved, or that if it ever occurs that they do {d, e, f... } they are not saved - and those lists are not entirely and solely comprised of 'believe on the Lord Jesus Christ' or unbelief.
... Then believer A starts judging believer B, not in terms of whether their behaviour is appropriate or wise, but in terms of whether God shows mercy to B. Making what is a behaviour issue, a propriety in the flesh issue, a carnal, elementary principle issue, into a salvation issue - thereby believer A essentially is setting himself up on God's own throne, as though A is wise to judge souls, usurping the prerogative which belongs only to the risen Lamb

I never did say that He DID sin, or broke any commandments. :) Anyhoo, I'm off to bed. My brain hurts, along with the rest of my decrepit body..

I never went to vacation bible school either. Must have been someone else who discussed their background with you..

And yes, I do have a different view of Jesus. I see His human side, as well as the divine.. :)

He was tempted by satan to commit suicide. He didn't act on it, but He probably did think about it..being human and all..

Um, no. Jesus didn't consider committing suicide. Why not stop while you're behind with your egregious errors?

Yeah satan tempted him in that way but even more by telling him to call for his angels as if God would use such high position for such a trivial matter of falling from a great height.

No need for reply.....because the following is your modus operandi....

I say->>>>The sky is blue and Jesus will come back

What you see->>>Eggrolls are good and Jesus loves Chinese food
That was FUNNY. And very true.

temptations of the flesh (Jesus held these captive) when not held captive

become sinful thoughts which makes a carnal mind

which leads to sinful works

He didnt have a carnal mind

also

being angry is not a sin

if you see a rapist cause harm to a child you should be angry

being jealous if your wife cheats on you isnt a sin

wanting justice because you see injustice is good

but when anyone other than God manifests this anger as wrath then its sin

i will stand firm in my belief Jesus did not sin....

which is why He was a worthy sacrifice

He was truely unspotted
Exactly...some need to get off the internet and start studying instead of arguing their absurd errors on here day and night. Way too much keyboard pounding, going ad lib on Christ while mitigating his character with egregious errors. It's ridiculous and frankly saddening. It appears to me many hardly ever crack open their Bibles, nor do they ever learn their mistakes are unbiblical because they don't get any sound teaching anywhere.

You say you think He lusted. That is committing adultery according to Jesus.

Yes, since He was fully human, with human emotions and thoughts, He probably did feel lust. He just didn't act on it...

All this wrangling about the term BS is a bunch of...oh, never mind! :D

hardsell, maybe Proverbs 19:11 for you? There are some things to go against with indignation, but you're going way past the limits on this and harping on something that could be let go.
19:11 is certainly good, but i believe the really appropriate proverb for this whole tangent is this one:

Proverbs 14:4
Where no oxen are, the crib is clean; But much increase is by the strength of the ox.

Which, being paraphrased, says that in order to enjoy the benefits of a bull's strength, it's inevitable that you will have to accept the presence of some bull sh**

Once again, just my own personal thought. I DID NOT SAY HE DID LUST.. Though even if He did, He wouldn't and couldn't have acted on it.. I could say the sky is green, doesn't make it true.. lol
