That's it in a nutshell. But many prophecies will need to be fulfilled before God established His true and undefiled temple in Jerusalem after the second coming of Christ
especially the rebuilding of the third temple.

He already has brought them back to their land
I know and it's exciting to see prophecy being fulfilled in our generation.

Jeremiah 16: 14-15

the days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when it will no longer be said, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,’15 but it will be said, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.’ For I will restore them to the land I gave their ancestors.

Zechariah 2

7 “Come, Zion! Escape, you who live in Daughter Babylon!” 8 For this is what the Lord Almighty says: “After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye 9 I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me.
10 “Shout and be glad, Daughter Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you,” declares the Lord. 11 “Many nations will be joined with the Lord in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. 12 The Lord will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem. 13 Be still before the Lord, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.”

Who owns the Temple Mt. in Jerusalem?
The Palestinians.
The Jews lost everything when they betrayed their God and Messiah.

34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them
that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together,
as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you,
Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh
in the name of the Lord.
Luke 13:

Read 1 Timothy 6 closely. who is the immortal who dwells in unapproachable light? God the Father. Everything the Father has is given to the Son but their is a time line and not from eternity. How else could Ps. 110 be true? Sit by my side until I put all of your enemies under your feet.
Hello Enoch987,

God is not done with the Holy land and following His timeline completely. When dealing with prophecy, just be careful not to confuse Judah (Jews) with Israel. They are not the same. Jews are part of Israel but not all of Israel. The rights to the name Israel were assigned to the sons of Joseph (Genesis 48:14-16). More on this later.

Yours,

Deade

Luke 13:
Palestinians are a fabrication.

"Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh
in the name of the Lord"

Please notice he didn't say he would never be seen by them.

Jesus returns to sit on David's throne.

Zechariah 12

10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.

John 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

The fact is the true mountain of God is the only place since 70 AD that true worship takes place:

Heb 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels.

Worry warting over some dirt in the middle east is pointless.

Tell that to God.

Isaiah 62:6-7

I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem;
they will never be silent day or night.
You who call on the Lord,
give yourselves no rest,
7 and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem
and makes her the praise of the earth.

Psalm 137

5 If I forget you, Jerusalem,
may my right hand forget its skill.
6 May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth
if I do not remember you,
if I do not consider Jerusalem
my highest joy.

Yes, and it will be built where the Dome of the Rock now sits.
NO...the Bible tells us the temple was NOT built on a hill top... Also water ran through it. If on the TM then it would be too High... The old city of David lies to the south of the Temple Mount. The temple rest deep below and a little west of the Al-aqsa Masq.

The Temple Mount historically proven: "The Dome of the Rock platform was the place where Fort Antonia once stood" ( Locating Solomon's Temple" by Norma Robertson .)

Jerusalem has already been established, a dirt based one is no longer relevant - God established the heavenly Jerusalem (aka Hebrews) and the true temple built on the foundation of the apostles:

Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.

The suggestion than a dirt based temple supersedes the one above is total misunderstanding of God's purposes.

For what portion of God is there from above?
and what inheritance of the Almighty from on high?

Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord:
and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

For they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest
forth out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron:
-
God chose Jerusalem (1 Kings 8:53) shall choose Jerusalem again (Zech. 2:12)

And the Lord shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land,
and shall choose Jerusalem again.

Jacob is the lot of his inheritance-Deuteronomy 32:9,
Israel is the rod of his inheritance-Jeremiah 10:16 , Jeremiah 51:19

He will take his inheritance in the sight of the heathen. Ezekiel 22:16
the Lord will not cast off his people, neither forsake his inheritance. Psalms 94:14

Jerusalem, the future headquarters city of the Earth (Haggai 2:6-8)
Gods latter house shall be greater than of the former (Haggai 2:9)

“Thus saith the Lord of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets
of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age. And the streets of the
city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof” (Zechariah 8:4-5).

And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your
fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their
children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

-
It was round about eighteen thousand measures:
and the name of the city from that day shall be, The Lord is there.

-
Psalms 137:6 (KJV)
If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth;
if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

The New Jerusalem comes down from heaven at the end, after the final war.

Before that Jesus will return to earth to rule for 1000 years from David's throne. Surrounding and attacking Israel provokes God to move in fury and destroy his enemies.

Who is saying it supersedes? There is no need to be insecure about it. God loving Israel doesn't mean he forgets us. But he will fulfill his plan on the earth.

If God broke his promises to Israel his promises to us would mean nothing.

I've even heard crazy talk about God having the Jews raising Red Heifers so they can build a temple and start the Sacrifice System again.

According to Prohecy, it a sacrifice system will come back to Israel in an effort to bring their Messiah back to them.

according to the Talmud or (oral tanahk) the red heifers are used in place of Lambs since Jesus was the last Lamb to be sacrificed.

That's cool.... if they feel it works for them.

God never broke his promises to Israel, they were fulfilled in the 1st century AD - here is James speaking to them:

James 1:1 James, a bond-servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes who are dispersed abroad: Greetings.

James 1:18 In the exercise of His will He brought us forth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.

These are the "144,000" of the book of revelation and the first fruits of the same book:

Rev 14:4 These are the ones who have not been defiled with women, for they have kept themselves chaste. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from among men as first fruits to God and to the Lamb.

Placing the book of revelation 2000 years past the time it is written is an anachronism as John tells his readers at the beginning and end that the time is at hand and that the events described in his book must shortly come to pass:

Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Rev 22:10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

"Seal not" means the events were to happen very soon.

People need to heed what John said and not bend his words to fit their "theology".

Yes there was a TV series about a secret plan by Zionist zealots
who had a red heifer specially raised in Norway and then transported
by ship to Israel.
And there was this guy who was separated from his wife and
got set up by these Zionists through a woman who looked
like his ex--wife.
There were tunnels under Jerusalem and a cavern directly
underneath the Temple Mount.
Great story, except it fizzled out at the end with a really
lame plot.
Someone else blew up a mosque or whatever in Jerusalem,
and when everybody was looking over there, the red
heifer ran off and escaped.
After all that drama, that was a pathetic ending.

If you look to Isaiah 28:14-18, you can see that Israel makes a covenant with (Death and Hell) in order to do just that at the beginning of Daniel's 70th week. The antichrist will enforce this covenant which looks to be the building of the third temple.

Israel has been at work for some time rebuilding the articles for a temple and finding/training priest and attendees to the temple. Of course the biggest part was finding enough people that are of Levi descent.

Isa 28:15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

It says they already made the "covenant with death" - nothing to do with thousands of years later..
