I'm a college student, and I know first hand that there are many temptations surrounding me on a daily basis. Does anyone find it difficult to live the life God wants them to live while being exposed to many distractions everyday? Let's talk.

Yes it is absolutely possible, now being a young adult doesn't mean you can't go ahead and make up your mind to serve God wholly,we all face this someday, and yes there are many temptations and distractions but overall you can commit your entire life to God.

I totally agree with you. I'm a very dedicated Christian and some of my other friends I go to school with often wonder how it's possible that I'm so committed to my ministry at this age, and I feel like I got it easy because I live with pastors so I'm constantly surrounded by people of God. But not everyone is this priviledged so I'm wondering how others cope with this

Well one of the things that helped me if you'll pardon how I phrase this that some tempting things like smoking I made a mind set that I view such a thing as "Stupid" and "Useless" and so through that I haven't smoked or drunk alcohol, also I eventually gave up cussing/cursing altogether because I found it useless too and thought it better all around so as to not disrespect God by ruling out the possibility to say his name in vain, that's 2 of my ways to cope,I'm sure people here could tell you more ways that help them!
