Believing on the Lord Jesus Christ saves people (Acts 16:31) "then our walk with the Lord begins" BECAUSE we are saved and not to become saved. You continue to confuse DESCRIPTIVE passages of Scripture with PRESCRIPTIVE passages of Scripture.

We enter the narrow gate through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8,9). Jesus is the door (John 10:9). All other roads lead down the broad way. Salvation by "grace plus law, faith plus works" does not take us through the narrow gate.
 
Yes.... we all should be sure to only do EXACTLY enough to get the "saved" card. Nothing more.

No, it's BE what you claim to be so you will be saved when Christ comes back, not destroyed in case you're not.

When Sally shows by her life that she is saved then we will know she is ready to face Christ when he returns. Until then we don't know.

"My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples."-John 15:8

So until she starts glorifying God through fruit bearing proving she's a disciple of Christ's she'll continue to have threads started about her wondering if she is saved, like we do with Solomon and King Saul. And Tommy will wish he hadn't married her.

Wait! You're 18. Haven't you already planned yours? (I was going to get married in Grand Caverns, a cave in VA. I was definitely going to be in jeans, still back-and-forth on the bare feet part. I like bare feet, but caves are cold. And absolutely none of this happened when I did get married, but the plans were there, when I was 16. lol)

Tie jars filled with vinegar around the pepper when it's still small. You might end up pickling a grasshopper too, but they deserved it!
